Jazell was on her bed, lying on her back with her head facing the ceiling. With a smoking pipe between her lips, she puffed out the smoke after inhaling it, then shivered, a moan escaping her lips.
The rising burning incense only seemed to fuel the moment, the scent from the incense consuming the whole room.
One of the maids in her chamber was pleasuring her, her face buried between Jazell's thighs. Jazell was wearing a thin black nightgown; her body could be seen through the gown, and she wasn't wearing anything underneath.
She sat up gently, parting her legs to give the maid more access. As a soft moan escaped from her lips, she had her hand entangled in the maid's hair, stroking it, as insane pleasure washed through her body.
Suddenly the smoking pipe between her lips falters as she shuts her eyes….
"Hhm! Uhg!
Her moans were soft and steady as she pushed herself down.
In another chamber, William was seated on the side of his bed, a small globe in his hands. His lean fingers toiled with the globe, his handsome face contorted with a slight frown.
Just then there was a knock on the door… He didn't respond; he was lost in thoughts. The knock came again, and this time it was loud enough to jolt him out of his train of thoughts.
"Come in." He said, rising to his feet. There was a bandage wrapped around his head; his chest was bare. He wasn't wearing any shirt, only long pants with some boots.
Leah walked in, her steps echoing in the room. She was draped with a black cloak and a hoodie covering her hair and concealing her face.
When William turned around and saw his sister all dressed up, he creased his brows.
"Where are you off to this hour? He asked, pouring himself wine.
"Sneaking outside the castle…do you want to come along? Leah's voice was hoarse and void of any cheerfulness, just low and emotionless. Her face was pale, but that didn't stop her pretty features from radiating.
William paused in the wine he was pouring…
"Since when did you start breaking rules? William was amused; usually he was the one always sneaking off, and Leah always had his back. Covering up for him, taking the blame, but today things were different.
"Since I realized we live in a small world, we should make good use of our short lives while making memories that would last a lifetime." Leah threw a black cloak on William's bed.
"Meet me at the secret pathway if you are ready." She simply said that, then turned around and walked away.
William shifted his gaze to the black cloak on his bed before allowing his gaze to roam around the empty doorway.
When Leah heard quick footsteps making their way down the dark stone staircase, she hid away.
"Leah…" William whispered his sister's name.
Leah sighed, then came out of her hiding spot.
"For a moment I thought you were not coming along. What took you so long?" She said, her eyes peering at William, who was draped in a black cloak; only a small part of his handsome face could be seen.
"Sneaking out of the castle never ends well…if you are not coming along with a bag of coins." William says and then suddenly brings out a small bag. The bag contains golden coins; he held the bag by the rope and allowed the body of the bag to dangle in the air as it swayed from side to side.
Leah snatched the bag of coins from him, then smiled…. "Let's go."
Soon the both of them were walking among common folks, the night sky dazzling above them. Decreash was beautiful at night, with the touch of fire crackers from the children playing with it by the side of the road, and the creaking of wooden carts moving. Voices and noise clustered from all corners of the town.
Ragaleon and William are of the same age; both the latter are 20 plus 5 years old. Helena was 20 and 3 years old, while Leah was 20 and 1 year old.
Everything Leah saw mesmerized her, but William was there to guide her and lead her away from the perilous part of the city.
A man was juggling some fruits in his hand; William caught one of the fruits midair and then tossed a coin at the man. He was about to take a bite from the fruit when Leah snatched it from his grip and then took a bite.
"Lately you have been oppressing me, Leah." He grumbled.
"Lately you haven't been yourself, brother." She said it and then took a bite from the fruit. She mused in wonder when the juice tingled on her tongue.
"This is good; want some? Leah asked, pointing the fruit in William's direction; the latter was about to take it when Leah withdrew her hand and took another bite from it.
"Too bad, I don't share." Leah smirked. William gazed at his sister, then crossed both his hands behind his back.
"Mother has been really hard on you again, hasn't she?" Leah picked a topic that made William's chest cringe. He always behaved weird whenever he and Johanna had a fight. So she wasn't wrong to think her mother was the root of William's paleness.
"She told me she wished you were a boy." He arched his brows, his blue eyes slowly diverting to Leah's face.
"She doesn't mean that…
"Sounded like she did… She said a whole bunch of things. It would sour my mouth to repeat the words she threw at my face." William looked hurt, his handsome face paling with each second that flew by.
Leah gazed at her brother, her dark eyes roaming on his face…then suddenly her gaze flashed at something.
"Come with me." She said, then gripped his wrist and began to drag him along in the direction she was heading.
"Leah…Leah! William shrilled her name in a low but firm tone.
"Trust me, brother." She groaned, the hoodie concealing her face falling off as she dragged William through the crowd, walking along the wavy street. Using her other hand, she wore the hoodie back over her head, then tucked her violet hair inside it.
They took a turn and saw two drunk men pissing on the street. At another corner a woman with her breast in view was laughing at the words a man was whispering in her ear.
When William confirmed the place Leah had brought him to in his head, he resisted her grip and then spun her towards himself.
Leah…" His voice was low.
"How did you find this place? He asked, his intensive gaze penetrating through her soul.
"Let's just say I am not as innocent as I look." Leah smiled, then loosened her grip on him before running through the door into the crowd. William smacked his lips bitterly before rushing after her.
"Kill him!
Kill him!
Kill him! Yaaay!
The crowd roared, their sweaty bodies colliding with each other. Their voice was like the sound of thousands of mighty men waging war on a battlefield.
A woman went mad, tearing her shirt off her body, her flat breast flapping as she screamed and clapped, sweat dripping all over her body.
Willing struggled to get through the crowd, his shoulders bumping with commoners as he made his way through the tight arena. Everywhere smelled of sweat and blood, a nauseating smell that could churn the stomach.
His pupils dilated around the arena in search of his sister Leah. When his gaze finally caught a glimpse of her, gazing at the men in the fighting pits, he made his way towards her.
"Don't run off like that." He said, standing beside her, but Leah wasn't listening to him.
"Who do you think would win this round? Leah asked, staring down at the men in the pits. The fighting pits were designed in such a way as to keep the crowd from the pits.
The audience always remained at the upper deck, staring down at the pits from above, while the fighters and other bloody men stood below in the arena, held off by a structure of baboon sticks circled around the pits.
William looked down at the fighters in the pit, his fleeting gaze dragging from one man to the other.
"The one with the spike around his knuckles." William said, and Leah nodded in agreement.
"That is what I also thought, but the crowd keeps hailing the man with a bald head and a scar…so I wagered a bet." Leah looked innocent when she sprouted those words.
"You did what?! William turned to look at his sister, his eyes popping out in frustration.
"Why would you trade with these crazy people? Do you know how crazy they are? William reckoned.
"They are crazy enough to tear their shirts and scream for blood. What other type of crazy do you want to hear? Leah said, her eyes trailing along the man with the spike around his knuckles.
"How much did you wager? William beckoned his question, pushing on Leah's nerves.
"Three hundred golden Capa coins." Leah said nonchalantly.
"You…" William was about to say something. Why wager such a huge amount of money?!! Such a waste!
"Shhhh, the fight is about to start." Leah hushed him. William bit his lips bitterly; his gaze inadvertently darted to a lady with her chest in view, only a thin material wrapped around her waist.
She smiles at William, then sticks out her long tongue, running it around her love-shaped lips, then pinches her nipples, her fingers working around them, before winking at him.
William got the message but sidestepped her gesture. When he turned around, Leah was no longer beside him.
She was gone again!
