Chapter 122 - Menagerie Part 2

THE WHITE FANG MOVES Location the RWBYverse, Remnant

A day. It took a day. For Sienna Khan's message spread across the White Fang cells in Remnant. The order to investigate and make contact with a new faction of faunus, forming in Menagerie. Not only that but their terraforming and eradicating all traces of Grimm from the capital land of the faunus. This especially shocked a cat faunus girl who was with a red haired bull faunus. A peaceful place of unity, and free of dungeon. The "couple" have different opinions of this information. The girl name Blake Belladonna, who is yellowed eyed, long, wavy, black haired beauty, with cat ears on the top of her head. Her wears a black, buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front. Underneath this is a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt and super tight white spandex compression shorts that reach her upper thighs with a zipper on the front of each leg. She believes that these new faunus were helping those, that can't protect themselves. Plus she'll admit that this new group, that was not only offering protection, but strength through training, this is what she'd originally believes that the White Fang should be doing, and representing.

While her boyfriend and partner. His name Adam Taurus. He is a lean built and auburn hair that spikes backward in a windswept way. While most of his hair was red, he had streaks of brown. A noticeable trait of his appearance was the mask, that hide a nasty scar on his right eye. Adam wears an asymmetrical black, long-sleeved, double-breasted stylized high-collared blazer with slit sleeves along with red thorn sigils adorned with a white crest that lined up on his left shoulder. His suit jacket had crimson lining atop his red shirt, with red thorn sigils atop a black flap attached to the bottom of the left hem and his wilting rose emblem on the back over an emblazoned white sigil resembling the curved stems and flower of the deadly nightshade plant. His blazer was half-buttoned, exposing a red shirt with a black line running parallel to his collar under it. With this news of a new faction, he was...annoyed, by this. A faction with the power to bypass aura, training that can challenge the best huntsmen, and a growing unique technology. They should use it to fight!! Standing side by side with their fellow faunus, arming and training every faunus to destroy the human kingdoms, and conquer them. He'll abide by the High Leader command to investigate, and make contact with this new group...and he'll take it over in the name of the White Fang. This has made all the cells, move and search for these faunus, with...peg-legged, blue penguins... But unfortunately it wasn't only the White Fang, that was on the move.

Some more shadowy factions and groups. From both the underworld of the underbelly of Remnant, but also the darker element. As a ancient sorceress, felt long ago, her control over an entire type of grimm slip. All those Grimm, were heading to a blind spot. The grimm in the faunus lands, have been rapidly fading away, and this sorceress, was debating in sending her agents to check on this disturbance. But some of her agents, advised her to wait. And see if this possible new threat reveals itself on it own. Another group that was noticing changes on Remnant, was quite possibly the most hated, kingdom by the White Fang.

ATLAS Location the Kingdom of Atlas, Atlas Academy: Den Office

A highly advance, a circular room featuring dark blue metallic walls and windows which can fade to become opaque. The floors of Ironwood's office were shown to depict constellations in the form of golden stars, reflecting Ironwood's love for astronomy. Sitting on the den and general of Atlas Academy & Military. James Ironwood, a tall and muscular middle-aged man that wears a white overcoat, with a gray undercoat, black sweater, a red necktie and a white glove on his right hand. His suit pants shared the same color as his overcoat and were tucked into silver boots accented in gray. With his hands interlocked, as his most trusted lieutenant, Winter Schnee. She is a beautiful young lady, with the Schnee traits of eye and haircolor. Her hair styled in a tied back in a bun that is high on the left side of the back of her head. She was standing proud and proper, like a soldier in her white long-sleeved coat with a single dark blue clasp around the center waist holding it shut alongside a red jeweled brooch on the collar. The coat's length runs down to her ankles and the sleeves are split from shoulder to elbow. She wears a white pleated sleeveless blouse with a dark blue waistcoat. A pair of white trousers with dark blue garters alongside a pair of gray thigh boots with black detailing around the knees. She also wears a pair of black forearm length gloves with gray trimmed cuffs.

Winter is holding a data pad, giving General Ironwood, reports of the drones not only flying around the eastern edge of Menagerie, but eliminating all aerial and aquatic grimm on the area. It took some time, and many tries. But they'd managed to secure one of these advance flying drone. Not only are they invisible in the eye of the Grimm, their weaponry is soo advance to reverse engineering, but what Winter said next was the shocker. The energy used to power the drone, wasn't dust. This caught Ironwood's interest. The fuel source, was in all accounts better than dust...Winter, paused at this moment, as she'd requested apologies, as one of the scientists in their employment, is apart of the Schnee Industries. And that person told...Ironwood, closed his eyes as he'd answered for his lieutenant, "This person contacted Jacques Schnee, correct?" and Winter confirmed his suspicions. Making Ironwood, sighed. As he'd requested Winter to continue her report, she'd gave a "Yes sir!!" and did as she was ordered. She'd said that upon Mr. Schnee learning about of this discovery, he'd stormed into the research lab. Demanding answers. Ironwood, could feel a migraine, is forming in his head. As Winter explained all the stupidity that Jaques did in the lab, but it was thanks to that stupidity, another discovery was made. Jaques' ranting and yelling, accidentally caused some red dust to fall upon the opened drone, coming in contact with the unknown energy that powers it. Causing the dust to be supercharged, on level that the scientists and Mr. Schnee never imagined. That lesser quality red dust, surpassed all prime quality, and gave out energy like a blazing inferno. Test or being run with that specific red dust, as they speak.

But one thing is certain, whoever invented this technology and energy is a genius. And worth considering, making contact with. The general agreed. As he sighed and asked, "And what does Mr. Schnee, see to all of this?" now it was Winter's turn to sigh. She'd responded that Mr. Schnee...her father...wants the people responsible for creating this drone, brought to Atlas immediately as well. As she comments that it's quite possible that Jaques, want the creator or creators of the drones, to be under his employment, and not Atlas Military. Ironwood, he'd agreed with Winter's suspicions. But whoever this person, this inventor is, not only made a unbelievable machine, but also a weapon to solve all Grimm infections. And quite possibly "her" reign as well. He'd dismissed Ltn. Schnee, thanking her, for her report. Winter, made a military salute, and left the office. Leaving General Ironwood to ponder, he must report this to Ozpin, and Glynda. Typing on the console of his desk, he'd made a secure call to Ozpin...

OZPIN Location the Kingdom of Vale, Beacon Academy: Headmaster's Office

Headmaster Ozpin was situated at the top of Vale's Cross Continental Transmit System, also known as Beacon Tower. As the highest point at Beacon as well as in Vale, it sat high above the clouds and afforded an impressive view of the surrounding area. Said office has the appearance, of a prestine, wooden chair and desk which is positioned in front of a large clock face. The main window behind Ozpin's desk was circular and functioned as a clock face. The office had two elevators that both featured Ozpin's Emblem above. As Ozpin the Eternal Wizard, has just ended his call with James Ironwood. Ozpin, sipping his mug of coffee, as he'd called his trusted vice headmistress, Glynda Goodwitch.

Ozpin having the appearance of a middle-aged man with tousled silver hair and thin brown eyes. He has a light complexion and sharp facial features. Wearing some shaded glass-spectacles and a small, purple, cross-shaped pin on the cowl around his neck. His outfit mainly consists of an unzipped black suit over a dark green, buttoned vest and green shirt. He also wears black trouser shoes and long, dark-green pants. The news that James, shared with him, has been quite unbelievable to say the least. Someone has created new technologies, that could completely, change the tide of this long, long, long shadow war. Taking another sip of coffee. A drone, one of hundreds, and still growing in number. Eliminating Grimm in the open sea between Anima and Menagerie. It was an act of pure luck, that Atlas soldiers, stationed in the area were able to capture one of these drones.

Not only for these drones are invisible by Grimm. Capable of taking out larger monsters with ease. And the energy source used to power these drones, was able to supercharge dust... Ozpin suspect it might be, as unlikely as it can be, but someone has been able to rediscover magic. And was able to create magi-tech. Whoever this person or people are, he must find them and recruit them, before "she" does. Or worse destroy, quite possibly the only opportunity to vanquish "her" in centuries. That's when the elevator doors opened, and a beautiful, mature woman that has very light-blonde hair tied back in a bun with a curl hanging down the right side of her face. Her eyes are bright green and she wears thin ovular glasses. She is Glynda Goodwitch. As for her looks, she has dangling teal earrings that match the hanging pendant on her collar. A white long-sleeved, pleated blouse that has a wide keyhole neckline and gauntlet cuffs that flare in pleats at the wrist. Her lower body is covered by a black high-waisted pencil skirt with bronze buttons and black fading into brown stockings, with black boots with bronze heels and a cape that is purple inside and black on the outside. The cut of the cape is stylized to end in flames and arrows, with a row of diamond-shaped bronze beads on the back. Above this line of beads appears to be an emblem of a tiara that is her personal symbol.

Holding a riding crop, that also act as her main weapon called the Disciplinarian, in one hand. And in the other hand, a black clipboard. She'd spoke in a mature, and slightly alluring voice, "You'd call me, Headmaster?" Ozpin greeted, Glynda, and confirmed that he'd did. As he told her, about the call that he just had with James Ironwood. To say that Glynda was surprised was a understatement. She'd asked if James, has any suspicious on who was responsible for creating these drones. Ozpin, he shuke his head in negative response. Glynda, sighed in disappointment. As their only clues is that whoever are responsible for making this revolutionary things, might be either from Anima or Menagerie. Places that humans, are least welcomed on Remnant. He plans to send Crow, to scout around those areas, using his crow form to investigate and listen in rumors about who's might be responsible, for these drones. While a good plan...the reason that Glynda was sighing now, is because Crow wasn't completely trustworthy. Being a notorious, drunkard. It will take more time for him to find whoever their searching for. She'd asked if it's possible to replicate this new technology. Once again Ozpin, shuke his head, signaling a no.

Ozpin, he tells Glynda what James told him. Those drones and the energy that powers them, were too advance and complicated to replicate in their own abilities. They need the data, process, and blueprints to even begin to start on the making of these things. So the only option, was trusting Crow, along with the soldiers station on those continents. Understanding, Glynda, said she'll contact Crow immediately. Ozpin, thanked Glynda, as they'd changed the subject to talk about the new attending students of this year. She'd nodded and started looking on the attendance list on her clipboard, while it was still a while before the new semester, it was good to review things.
