To gain entry, the group had to bypass time locks—barriers that responded only to specific ages. Bloom disguised them all using age manipulation alchemy, transforming them into versions of themselves from ten years earlier.
Inside, time was frozen. Scrolls hovered mid-air. Ink didn't move. Lights were caught in an eternal shimmer.
And at the center of the Grand Dome, sitting cross-legged atop a floating pillar, was a man with white hair and void-black eyes.
"Rellian the Betrayer."
The man opened one eye. "The boy with the Clock comes to seek the God's truth."
Julius raised Entropis. "You betrayed the heavens. You gave time to the wrong hands."
"I gave time… to the forgotten," Rellian said calmly. "But if you seek the fragments of Ankeirum's memory, you must first survive my trial."
Rellian unleashed Null Chains, temporal binds that erased future possibilities. Lyra froze, Rael's lightning curved back on him, Rin saw three paths collapse at once.
