~Kaida Orion POV~
My breath catches, I look at Lupus, his face was pale.
Our peace holds, for now, but the Weaver's words echo as if already true. The morning air is crisp when I wake. Light filters through the curtains, but my mind is heavy. The Weaver's message still weighs on me:
"The Moon Priest sways… but Weaver knows fear. Soon, your heart will bleed again."
I slip from bed quietly and make my way to the small balcony overlooking the courtyard. The morning dew glistens on the stone tiles. I trace the edge of the balcony with my fingers, thinking.
Lupus emerges from the hall. He moves to stand beside me without a word, as I turn to him.
"I got a message," I say softly.
His expression darkens. "You did?"
I nod, showing him the note folded so his eyes can read it. His jaw tightens.
"He's not done," he states. "He's watching, waiting."
I lean against him. "What should we do?"
