Chapter 7 - Jaelsville

After waking up, Anastasia went about her morning routine. Before heading downstairs for breakfast, she entered the dojo and cultivated for a whole day. However, due to the unique properties of the space, time passed differently, and when she emerged, it was still morning in the real world. Feeling refreshed and full of energy, Anastasia went downstairs to meet her brother, Aaron. They sat down together for breakfast, enjoying each other's company as they ate.

After breakfast, they headed to the study, where they dismissed the servant, keeping only two trusted individuals to attend to their needs. After a servant brought them tea, they began discussing their plan for survival.

"We need to gather all the necessary materials and ensure our safety," Anastasia said, her mind focused on the task at hand. Aaron looked at her, his expression serious. "We'll help each other, sis. We'll get through this together." Anastasia nodded, feeling a sense of relief.

"Okay, let's get started. We need to prepare for the apocalypse." Aaron nodded, taking notes. "Okay, got it. And what about our parents?"

"Let them stay at Grandpa's with only our thirty elite shadow guards. They're safer there," Anastasia replied. "Dispose of the servants, leaving only the butler and his family. We'll be sending the two servants over there and disposing of this house. That asshole, Julian, has been calling me repeatedly, and I know he might come here."

Anastasia sighed, and her brother nodded. As they sat in the study, discussing their plan for survival, Anastasia's expression turned determined.

"We need to create our own base, Aaron. A place where we can be safe and self-sufficient. I don't want what happened in our last life to happen again." She stated, having formerly informed her inquisitive brother about the horrendous fate that befell the villagers and her grandfather during her past life.

Aaron's eyes widened in understanding. "You mean, like what happened to our village? The mobs, the prisoners...the brutality?" Anastasia nodded, her eyes flashing with determination.

"Exactly. We can't let that happen again. We need to be prepared." Aaron nodded, taking notes. "Okay, let's start with the basics. Where do you want to establish our base?"

Anastasia's eyes lit up. "Jaelsville. Grandpa's estate there is perfect. It's our roots, our family's legacy. We can fortify it, make it safe." Aaron nodded, already thinking ahead.

"I'll send a team to prepare the estate. We'll reinforce the mansion with high walls, concrete, and steel. Make it withstand any potential threats." Anastasia smiled, her mind racing with the possibilities.

"And we'll build a research center and hospital within the orchard area. Surround it with a high wall for added security." As they continued discussing their plan, the scope of their project became clear.

They would create a layered system, with separate areas for the mansion, orchards, farmers, and outsiders who wanted to join them. They would establish a water system that could withstand droughts by digging deep wells. They would plant a variety of crops, including vegetables and other essential plants, to ensure food security.

"We'll also need a supermarket, a bus system, and amenities for residents and visitors," Anastasia added, her eyes shining with excitement. Aaron nodded, taking more notes.

"I'll get the team on it. We'll make it happen, sis." As they worked on their plan, Anastasia's vision for their base began to take shape.

As they worked on their plan, Anastasia's vision for their base began to take shape. She could see the mansion, surrounded by high walls and lush orchards. She could see the research center and hospital, bustling with activity. She could see the farmers, tending to their crops with care. And she could see the outsiders, who would come to join them, seeking safety and security.

Their base would be a beacon of hope, a symbol of what could be achieved through determination and hard work. And Anastasia knew that she and Aaron would make it happen, no matter what challenges lay ahead.

She continued, "We'll build a mega animal farm, after we've cut down every tree in the forest on the untouched part of the mountain and the village. We'll leverage our land and build a large research center and hospital. The forest stretches over 200 acres, while the orchard is around 100 acres, and the inhabitable area is about 50 acres."

Aaron nodded, taking notes. "I'll get the team on it. We'll make it happen, sis."

Anastasia added, "Using the mega filling station, we can get enormous amounts of fuel. I'll be with you when you get the fuel, and we'll store some in space. We'll build a large underground warehouse or tanker beneath the filling station to store enough fuel to last the country for hundreds of years. We might still buy fuel from other countries to stockpile in our underground warehouse."

Aaron nodded, his eyes wide with understanding. "We'll inform the government about the large scale deforestation we'll be carrying out on the mountain and making it part of our base, while telling them we're building a resort. It belongs to us, and we want to leverage the waterfall behind the mountain for electricity generation."

As they continued discussing their plan, Anastasia's vision for their base became clearer. They would create a self-sustaining community that could thrive even in the face of adversity. With their plan in place,

Aaron looked at Anastasia and said, "You've been telling me everything for me to do, what about you?"

Anastasia smiled and said, "I'll be hoarding materials and leveraging my space to the maximum."

Aaron nodded and asked, "What kind of materials?" Anastasia replied, "I'll make a list."

As they discussed their plans, Aaron suddenly asked, "Don't you like hot home-cooked meals?" Anastasia smiled and said, "Of course, I do." Aaron then said, "I'll give you a list of food I would want. I would even ask Annabelle, and our parents, even Grandpa, will give you a list of food."

As they finalized their plans, Aaron handed Anastasia two cards, one with one billion and the other with five billion, eight hundred million. He told her to use the cards and said that if she needed more money, he would give her more.

Anastasia was taken aback by the large sum of money but knew that her brother, as the heir of the Hills family, was incredibly wealthy. She realized that money would be useless in the end times, but it could guarantee their safety and well-being for now.

Aaron then discussed his plan to dissolve their company's involvement in the project. He would sell most of the shares to their competitor, Crescent Group, and leverage his own company to build their base. This way, people would think they were bankrupt, and it would be more believable to the masses when they start selling the Hills properties.

Anastasia was impressed by her brother's plan and gave him a copy of the cultivation book she had handwritten. She also gave him two big kegs of spiritual spring water and told him to cultivate with the elite guards and their parents, as well as Grandpa. She emphasized that nobody could keep them safe, and they had to rely on themselves.

Anastasia also shared cultivation techniques with Aaron, including water, fire, earth, space, lightning, wind, wood, and ice cultivation. She had snapped these techniques from precious books and sent them to his phone. She couldn't copy the creation cultivation book that cultivates the spirit, soul and body, so she had handwritten it and given it to him as she couldn't remove it from space either.

As Aaron began his cultivation journey by taking some spiritual spring water, he felt invigorated and strong. He noticed that his skin was smoother, and the weariness he had been experiencing for years had disappeared. Even the migraine that had plagued him for years was gone. He realized that the resources Anastasia had given him were truly precious and powerful, made up his mind to deal very secretly as regards to this matter, so as not to endanger his sister.

Aaron left the house with the two servants and made for Cindrelle, The city where Jaelsville is located to begin the ground work while putting off the CCTV cameras around the house so that his sister will be able to pack everything into her space before leaving in her sports car.

With their plans in place, Anastasia and Aaron had to separate ways. Anastasia would focus on hoarding resources, while Aaron would work on building their base. As they parted ways, Anastasia knew that their journey would be challenging, but she was confident in their abilities to overcome any obstacles.

Anastasia watched as Aaron drove away, a sense of determination and hope rising within her. She knew that their journey would be long and arduous, but she was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. With a newfound sense of purpose, Anastasia began to pack the house, carefully storing away valuable items and resources that would aid them in their survival.
