Jack and the others quicky moved up on the center walls.
Beneath them, they saw about 300.000 troops before the walls.
Jack moved closer to the edge and called;
"You wish to speak with me?"
The 300.000 army was deadly silent as 3 figures moved closer to the walls, in plain sight of everyone on both sides.
"Breeder. Give yourself to me, and this bloodshed shall end!"
Jack looked at Sha'ri as she spoke.
The emotions going trough his body at this moment was indescribable.
On one side he wanted nothing more than to jump down the walls and completely erase her.
But on the other side..
Something inside him HAD been broken during his long captivity, because seeing her, also felt like home.
A home that forced upon him was, yes.
But the feeling lingered.
"Sha'ri. I will never be touched by you again. Never." Was all he finally said, after the long gazes and trembling emotions.
At this point, Sha'ri and Ang'ris pulled forward the third individual.
The person was 1 meter tall, yet clearly a youngling.
But the aura emanating from this person was significant.
Jack, Lee, the commanders and all the earth-human lords could feel the ripple down their spine as they looked at this creature.
Beautiful.
There was no denying it.
The creature was beautiful.
Yet it's aura stated that it could kill every living thing inside the castle if it so chose...
And this realisation and emotion left everyone upon the walls stunned.
However, Jack wasn't so easily disrupted.
"And who is this? Don't think that a child will stop me from killing every single one of you!"
Jack proclaimed this with a strong and calm voice.
Ang'ris sneered at these words.
"Tell him the truth Sha'ri, or I will withdraw my troops! When he knows, he will understand and cease his territory to us!"
Ang'ris truly believed that Jack, or humans in general, would think as reptilians did.
She did not account for the differences of species.
She firmly believed that Jack, after seeing his wonder of an offspring, would understand.
That together, they could dominate the World of Prime!
"You surely haven't forgotten..."
Sha'ri said with a low voice that barely hit the top of the walls.
"The time we've spend together. I know you. And you know me. Intimately."
She led the question hang for a good while before she continued.
"This is your son. The heir to both of our empires!"
She pulled the beautiful creature in front of her, and raising her gaze directly towards Jack on the walls.
"He is the future! Stand down and kneel!"
Jack was speechless.
He now directly studied every single part of this child.
'Was it possible? Did Sha'ri truly conceive my child?'
Lee and his commanders were completely silent. They didn't move a muscle.
But the earth-lords...
"Is this true?"
"Did he actually have intercourse with that alien?"
"Is this a joke?"
"Say something! This is a freak of nature and an abomination!!"
Jack heard all the whispers.
Yet he couldn't make himself speak.
'She truly did break something in me. I thought that when I finally saw her, I would kill her, and not stop stabbing untill I passed out... Yet. Here I am. And I can't stop looking at my.... Son....'
Jack had seen this creature. Every single line of it.
And he felt disgusted.
This was the culmination of his time as captive.
As a slave.
A whore.
Yet...
When his gaze settled into the golden eyes of the boy child...
The child stared back.
It was like he was seeing himself.
Not his fleshly appearance, far from it.
But his very soul!
When their eyes locked....
Both the child and Jack, just knew!!?
They knew that they were part of eachother.
Jack had no doubt.
This was his son!
However in this moment Jack was torn. He didn't feel like himself.
He felt like he was seeing all this from somewhere outside his body.
And his body just reacted.
"Look at him! You created this! He is YOU! And you need to bow down!"
Sha'ri now yelled.
High enough, and with words that made the earth-humans twist their heads in disgust.
Jack was aware of everything. He felt like he could even sense all the troops moods.
Yet he still saw his own body act, as if he was floating behind it.
'I must be in a state of shock!' This realisation dawned on Jack.
"So what! You kept me prisoner! You raped and tortured me! No matter what you throw in front of me, I will NEVER bow down to your kind!".
The earth-lords were pleased with this, Jack felt, but also still deeply in disgust about what they witnessed.
"So be it! We will tear down your walls and MAKE you bow!" Sha'ri dragged the boy back to the troop lines.
"You had a chance to become the father of all! Yet you've declined!"
This was Ang'ris, the second reptilian lord who was still standing in front of the walls.
"Instead of enjoying life comfortably, with everything you desire, you will now be even lower than you've ever imagined!"
"ATTACK!"
"Don't leave a single being alive except this failed father! He is mine to torture!"
The roar that came from the reptilian army was beyond deafening.
The air continued to vibrate from their roars as 300.000 troops stormed the walls.
"Lee! I need you!"
Jack stumbled a few steps back from the edge of the walls.
"My lord! I am here."
Lee gently supported Jacks back as he seemed to not be completely in control of himself.
"I need you to win this battle! Take command. I.... My current state... I'm afraid I can't even walk properly..."
Lee saw the truth of his lord's words.
He was stumbling, and had he not supported his back, he might even have fallen directly down the walls.
"As you wish my lord!"
Lee with his critical thinking, quickly assumed command!
"Gunnar!" He yelled.
Gunnar came forward and supported Jack on Lee's gesture.
"Bring him to the north castle! Guard him with your life!"
Lee ordered this as hundreds of thousands of reptilian troops gathered at the base of the walls and grabbed the hundreds of ladders that still remained.
The earth-lords saw Gunnar give an heartfelt salute to Lee, as he helped Jack to the North side of the walls, and inside the castle.
"I guess this is it! Fight with everything you have! We can NOT loose this battle! DO YOU HEAR ME!?"
One of the lords, the one the others looked to for comfort, suddenly barked this out extremely loudly!
And the 'marcenary' troops replied with high morale-filled cries of war.
"Spearmen! Form a line at the edge of the walls!"
"Swordsmen! Arm the scorpions and destroy the ladders!"
"Archers! Gather at both castles and await my command! Gather all the reserve arrows you can!
"Mercenaries! Get to the yard beneath the towers and wait to put pressure where it is needed!"
Lee's commands where firmly received by everyone.
The troops, even the mercenaries, even if they didn't belong to Lee's faction, all moved the second they were called.
"Lords. If you please. Join me on the top of the north castle".
All of this happened while the first reptilians reached the top of the walls.
Jack's troops and mercenaries had witnessed everything.
They heard the talks.
They've seen the enemy and the number they commanded.
They've seen inside their own fortifications and understood that the enemy was more than 5 times their numbers.
They stood firm.
They waited.
They were ready to give their very lives for victory!
As the reptilians with loud warcries jumped from the ladder unto the walls, death awaited them.
Jack's spearmen had found their essence, they were in the calm rytm of war and death.
Their shields held strong.
Their spears stabbed with unparalleled precision.
Every reptilian that jumped, all met the same fate.
Stopped by a strong barrior.
Death by a spear.
However. The reptilians numbers was far too many.
The scorpions fired every single bolt. Killing thousands on their own.
The many longbow-archers emptied every single arrow over the walls from the castles, and killed yet more thousands.
The spearmen helt firm, yet the reptilians tirelessly came.
The mercenaries in the yard, slowly decreased in numbers as they rushed to every section of the walls, that needed them the most.
Lee cracked his head in endless manoeuvres, yet the reptilians kept coming...
After a whole hour of battle, the combined troops on Jacks side had decreased to about one thousand.
Meanwhile the reptilians still numbered more than 50.000.
The humans had truly fought valiantly to make such an outcome under Lee's command.
However, the entire area was now under reptilian control, all except the north inner castle.
The gates was barricaded.
1000 troops gathered around the gates, pushing against it to brace against the reptilians improvised rams.
Jack lay unconscious behind the troops, the lords and commanders gathered around him.
Scattered behind Jack and on all the floors, 40.000 civilians trempled and cried.
Boom!
Booom!
Boooom!
The gates were finally destroyed.
Broken wood flew through the hall while reptilians and human troops crashed against eachother at the broken gate.
Jack, laying on the floor, finally opened his eyes!
And they were burning!
