Ten minutes later.
Both parties had completed a brief exchange of information.
Reuel gave a concise explanation of his own situation—only going so far as to describe the Resident Evil world he came from. He deliberately avoided mentioning anything about the existence of the Imperium of Man, the vast civilization he had built from the ruins of that world.
Likewise, he said nothing about his ability to travel between universes, the powers originating from beyond the Nasuverse system, or any other sensitive information.
The reason was simple. The man sitting across from him was one of the most dangerous figures: a mad scientist with an almost limitless curiosity—Solomon the Magus King. The incarnation of the legendary Solomon, former Grand Caster, master of the 72 Demon Gods, whose original body was now possessed by his own creation: Goetia.
If Roman ever found out about psionic energy and its origin in the Immaterium—a realm of chaos and reality-shattering entities—the consequences would be unimaginable. In the worst-case scenario? That lunatic might actually try summoning the four Chaos Gods, the literal eternal enemies of mankind.
The room fell silent. Several people on Chaldea's side who had been listening were stunned into speechlessness.
However, since Reuel didn't seem to harbor any hostile intentions, Roman eventually took the initiative to explain their own situation.
Chaldea – Organization for the Security and Preservation of Humanity.
An organization founded through the collaboration of the world's major nations, with one primary goal: to ensure the continuity and stability of human civilization.
In the context of the Nasuverse, Chaldea could be considered the central hub for monitoring and safeguarding the timeline of the world.
Roman continued.
"Not long ago, this world suffered a major incident—the Incineration of Mankind."
"Someone has erased the entire future of humanity from the year 2016 onward by destroying several crucial eras in history."
In other words, the history of this world would completely stop in 2017. Human civilization would end. Be wiped out.
Roman pointed to the large holographic globe in front of them. Several glowing points lit up in different locations: France, Central Asia, and other regions.
"Ah? I thought humanity here was wiped out by a Star Destroyer strike…" Reuel muttered, half-joking, though his eyes showed clear caution.
Roman merely gave a faint smile.
"Simply put, in the timeline of civilization, there are crucial points that serve as historical anchors."
"For example, the Hundred Years' War between England and France, the beginning of the Age of Exploration, the rise of Mesopotamian civilization..."
"These anchors are foundations. Once even one is twisted or artificially damaged, every subsequent historical branch is altered and collapses."
Reuel nodded in understanding. He added flatly:
"Like the butterfly effect. If someone goes back in time and kills themselves as a baby, then everything about them is erased. They never existed."
"In historical terms, killing an ordinary individual might not change much, but if an empire is toppled, or a great leader eliminated before their time, the resulting historical divergence could shift everything."
Such was the crisis Chaldea now faced.
Seven critical points in human history had been distorted—by unknown forces—and these artificial changes had created seven singularities.
The ripple effect was clear: human history had been severed, and the future had disappeared.
Only by repairing these singularities could humanity be saved and history restored to its proper course.
"Jeez, that's complicated…" one of the shipgirls sighed, still trying to process all the information they'd heard.
"So... we're here to save the world?" another muttered, looking dazed and half in disbelief.
Reuel smiled.
"So… can we work together?" Reuel asked with a calm smile.
"Chaldea's current personnel is limited, isn't it? I can provide additional funding and manpower to help you deal with the threat of the singularities."
In exchange, Reuel requested something very specific—comprehensive information about this world's magical system. Both ancient and modern sorcery, including the mechanism behind Heroic Spirit summoning.
Of course, he could have studied everything gradually. But efficiency was everything. Especially when he knew the true identity of Dr. Roman as Solomon, the Magus King. Using a direct source like that was a far more logical option.
Now, with 50% of his original power awakened, Reuel carried the full memories and capabilities of the Emperor of Mankind—a gift granted by the system that governed him. He began comparing the metaphysical understanding and psionic doctrines of his own world with the forms of magecraft in this one, particularly the moon-based magical system, which, according to his prior knowledge, was considered the highest tier of sorcery in one of the fictional works of his previous life.
One question emerged in his mind:
> "If Chaldea's summoning system can manifest Heroic Spirits based on collective memory and human belief, then theoretically… wouldn't I be able to summon legendary figures from the Imperium of Man?"
A wild idea, yet not without merit.
If the summoning system were implemented within the Imperium of Man he had built in the Resident Evil world, and if Warhammer history was planted as the official human historical record… then Sanguinius, Malcador the Sigillite, even Horus Lupercal would, in theory, qualify as Heroic Spirits:
They are universally acknowledged as legends or historical icons,
And they possess an existence recorded in the "history of mankind."
Reuel knew this was still only a hypothesis—fiction within fiction. However, if Chaldea's summoning truly manifested collective human thought… then the possibility couldn't be ruled out entirely.
He even let himself imagine: could he one day summon the Heroic Spirit of Sanguinius? Malcador? Horus?
Yet again, a faint smile crept onto his lips. And he shook his head slowly.
> "Sanguinius… perhaps not. He's not entirely dead. They say a fragment of his soul still resides within the grasp of the Emperor of Mankind Neoth."
A belief never officially confirmed in Warhammer lore, yet alive in the discussions of fanatics on forums like Reddit—a speculation that persisted in endless theorycrafting.
Dr. Roman fell silent for a moment, lost in thought.
This outsider from beyond the stars… was clearly no ordinary man.
"He's obviously from another world, but… how can he grasp this situation so well?" Roman muttered inwardly.
And based on his intuition—Roman could feel that both Reuel and the women around him radiated immense power. They weren't just wanderers.
"Information about magecraft? Hmm… we do have several magi at Chaldea. If you're truly willing to help us, gathering that knowledge won't be too difficult," Roman finally said, eyeing Reuel with growing caution.
"But… performing magecraft requires magic circuits or command seals. As far as I can tell, you don't seem to be a mage?"
Roman tilted his head, studying Reuel more closely. His expression grew more serious.
"But from what I've observed… the power inside you isn't that of a normal human. There's something hidden. Something massive. There's rage. There's vengeance. There's destruction. And yet, what surprises me most is… you remain conscious. You even seem cheerful."
Roman narrowed his eyes.
"That means… you've fully conquered your original power."
Mash and Roman exchanged glances, now watching Reuel more cautiously.
He didn't appear like a magus. Yet his presence… resembled that of an ancient warrior, like a Heroic Spirit forged on endless battlefields.
Reuel gave a faint smile, thinking to himself:
"This man's instincts… are indeed worthy of being called the incarnation of Solomon."
Reuel thought to himself.
It seems I don't possess a single item once owned by Sanguinius, Malcador, or Horus. Which means… my plan to summon Heroic Spirit versions of the Imperium of Man's figures is most likely a total failure.
He let out a sigh.
A wave of disappointment crept into his mind. He had been eager to test that old theory once hotly debated by keyboard warriors on Reddit forums—the idea of turning the Primarchs and legendary Warhammer icons into Heroic Spirits.
A crazy idea—fiction within fiction.
But that was precisely what made it beautiful. As someone who loved many major franchises, Reuel felt the theory was just too damn cool to ignore.
He gave a bitter smile. Then took a deep breath, grounding himself back to reality.
Reuel turned and responded to Dr. Roman's comment.
"You don't need to worry about that. I've got my own solution."
He waved his hand casually.
Considering he could even digest a Mental Rubik's Cube, learning a few magecraft tricks shouldn't be that hard.
Roman remained silent for a moment, still trying to interpret the meaning behind this stranger's words.
"…Alright," he finally said, nodding slowly.
"If you truly can bring support from another world, then humanity's chances of survival will rise significantly."
"And if you're willing to help us resolve the singularities, I'll prepare all available information on the magecraft system as compensation."
With that, the cooperation agreement between the two parties was established. Reuel became a new ally of Chaldea.
Roman, now feeling slightly more at ease, promptly invited Reuel and a few team members to tour the Chaldea facility.
Due to the earlier explosion, only around twenty staff members remained in Chaldea. All of them were in a state of disarray. Many were still in shock from the destruction that had nearly wiped out the entire base.
Amidst the chaos, Fujimaru Ritsuka appeared especially interested in this visitor from another world. As if she had an endless supply of curiosity, she kept following Reuel, bombarding him with nonstop questions.
"Are those girls your Servants? Can you summon Heroic Spirits too?"
"'Ship girls'? What do you mean by that? Are you serious? Even warships can become Heroic Spirits?!"
"Will you help me save humanity? Can I visit your world someday?"
Reuel observed Gudako (Ritsuka) with a look of curiosity.
She wasn't as beautiful as the Ship Girls from his fleet, but she had a charm of her own—cheerful, full of spirit, and with a sweet face. In this world's narrative, had she not arrived first… Gudazi would've clearly been the protagonist.
But look at her now.
Alright. Let's face this world together, Reuel thought.
In the future, there'd be no harm in letting Gudazi lead Heroic Spirit forces alongside him—conquering north and south together.
"Once we're done handling the main points here, you're welcome to visit my world anytime," Reuel said to her with a warm smile.
As they walked down a dark, dust-covered corridor, a few ideas began forming in Reuel's mind. He turned to Richelieu and started a casual discussion.
"Hmm… Now that we're connected to the Naruserve world, we need to find a way to take advantage of the power here."
"Turning the whole world into subordinates? Unrealistic."
"An alliance? Not really necessary. Their combat strength lies in the Heroic Spirits and a few magi."
He let out a small sigh.
"Just handling administrative work in the Imperium of Man is already stressful enough…"
His eyes narrowed as he weighed a possibility.
"What if we just move Chaldea over there? I can ask Universal Bulin to construct a new base in Antarctica."
He continued his idea without hesitation.
"Gather sacred relics from around the world. Summon Heroic Spirits. Form a special task force—Heroic Spirit Force. I believe their strength would be enough to counter even the Lostbelts."
From the multidimensional star map in his possession, Reuel knew—the power scale comparison between the Naruserve universe and his own world was like comparing gods to mortals. Too many parallel worlds. Too many Lostbelts.
Thus, the most cost-effective option was to move Chaldea directly to the power center… and make Heroic Spirits the core of it all.
Richelieu, already accustomed to Reuel's crazy ideas, simply nodded calmly after a moment of thought.
"Hmm. Sounds feasible."
"???"
Roman and several other Chaldea staff members froze.
What's a 'Heroic Force'? What does he mean by 'global sacred relics'? Why is this guy talking like he's about to pack up all of Chaldea like moving cargo?
He's even talking about turning the entire facility into a secondary headquarters!
Roman furrowed his brows, trying to stay sane.
"I asked you to help us… and now it sounds like you're planning to take over everything instead?!"
