Chapter 110 - Chapter 104: 682 vs. 173? The Duke’s End!

ROAR!!!

SCP-682 thundered forward, charging with unstoppable momentum.

Dr. Kondraki—still riding the beast—was steering it directly toward the staff quarters.

Even the audience in the livestream felt a twinge of sympathy.

> "Good grief… First he torments 083, and now he's picking a fight with 682?"

"This guy's a menace to everyone."

---

But mid-ride, a familiar shape emerged ahead.

A body coated in plaster.

A round, peanut-like torso.

A wrinkled, corroded face frozen in permanent malice.

The audience gasped.

SCP-173.

Peanut.

682 and Kondraki had barged straight into its containment chamber.

A chilling thought struck the viewers all at once.

> 682 vs. 173… what happens?

---

On screen, 682 charged into the chamber, locking eyes with 173 immediately.

To everyone's shock—173's gaze was met by 682's own.

Both held eye contact.

---

S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters

Natasha Romanoff frowned at the screen.

> "Why does 682 seem to know 173's rules?"

Nick Fury's brow furrowed.

It was true—682 was intelligent, but it shouldn't have ever encountered SCP-173 before.

And yet… here it was, treating 173's lethal neck-snap as a genuine threat.

Could 173 actually be able to kill even 682?

---

Kamar-Taj

The Ancient One was equally perplexed.

682's power was legendary—it was rumored to be the offspring of the Crimson King himself.

In her eyes, SCP-173 was nothing but reinforced concrete.

Yet 682 seemed… cautious.

This scene defied everything she understood.

---

Back in the chamber, the tension broke.

682 resumed moving, ramming its body into the walls and floor in an attempt to crush Dr. Kondraki.

> "I don't need your help, Godzilla," Kondraki called over the chaos.

"You already had a vampire for lunch—how about letting me go home?"

Dodging falling rubble with ease, Kondraki kept cracking jokes.

ROAR!!!

The beast slammed against another wall, twisting metal and pulverizing concrete.

> "Guess you're not going with that option," Kondraki smirked. "Fine—keep giving me a lift. I'll just hop off when I'm ready."

---

Glancing at the device on his wrist, he pulled hard on the makeshift reins, steering 682 toward the staff café.

BOOM!!!

Another wall exploded into fragments.

After punching through multiple isolation barriers, 682 entered the employee living quarters.

---

When they reached the café, Kondraki acted.

CRUNCH!

He yanked the reins hard, then—using them for leverage—launched himself upward.

The move was so smooth that the livestream audience collectively held their breath.

Mid-air, Kondraki spun three and a half times before—

CHOMP!

682's jaws snapped shut, catching him mid-flight and slamming him to the ground.

---

Blood pooled from deep punctures in Kondraki's chest.

> "Damn it!" he gasped, struggling upright and collapsing into a chair.

682 bared its fangs, blood dripping freely.

Its voice rumbled with fury:

> "Not only are you the most irritating human I've ever met—you're also the dumbest. The only way this ends is with you dead and rotting… though you're already halfway there."

Even pale and bleeding, Kondraki managed:

> "Fair enough. Let's do it your way."

> "That's the first sensible thing I've heard from you," 682 growled.

---

ROAR!!!

CRACK!

The feed cut to black with the sound of 682's teeth snapping shut.

---

The livestream exploded.

> "Wait… dead?!"

"Did 682 just swallow him whole?"

"No way! Kondraki's the kind of guy who survives anything!"

"If he is dead, what about those future interviews?"

---

S.H.I.E.L.D.

Natasha's eyes widened.

> "He's not really dead… right?"

Nick Fury stayed calm.

> "Unlikely. Don't forget—Kondraki has a very unusual ally."

Natasha's eyes lit with recognition.

> "SCP-408?"
