Chapter 165 - If someone's feelings are deeply hurt then this will happen

We return to the present again.....

Su Tao Jue Temple...

By now, Master Lee Wen had told Lady Guso Hun everything about Yu Sui. She had already heard tales of Mo Yan and Yu Sui's love story, but learning that their children had once again descended into a world of sin shattered her completely.

Lady Zhiyu, Mo Yan's mother, had been silently listening all this while. From the legends to the painful present, every word seemed to cut through her bones....bones that now wept like a corpse longing to cry out, but trapped within a lifeless body that refused to respond. That was her condition.....just like a soul imprisoned inside a dead form, yearning to grieve.

Her husband, Master Fijion Jyen, felt hollow from within, like a tree that appears lush and green on the outside but is rotting away deep inside. Master Keyjing, Lady Guso Hun's husband, could no longer hold back his sobs either.

Everyone was trying to hold each other up, but Lady Guso Hun... it was as if she had already died. Her spirit, broken beyond repair.

Even Lady huzi shen and Master Wanzhiang...Zhi Yao's parents.....and Lady Shee Wun with Master Gahai Heng.....the parents of ming heng.....stood up and rushed to comfort Lady Guso Hun and Master Keyjing, though they themselves were unable to process the shock. Their children too had left with Wang Gung.

Everyone present.....every soul in that temple...was screaming inside. It felt like pure injustice was being inflicted upon their children.

And then, the silence broke. Lady Guso, who was now completely shattered, suddenly cried out with a voice torn and scattered, her sobs loud and piercing:

"What sin have our children committed...?! What unforgivable crime justifies such a monstrous punishment?!"

The pain in her voice was so raw, so searing, it split every heart in the room into two. Master Lee Wen could no longer bear the emotional devastation around him. It felt as if he were drowning in a sea of sorrow, swept under by the cries of grieving parents.

Tears flooded the hall.....mothers and fathers crumbling in each other's arms. Master Lee Wen, overwhelmed, leaned his elbow on the table and buried his eyes in his palm, trying to hold himself together. But perhaps the truth was too unbearable now.

After all, who could truly imagine what would happen to Mo Yan and Yu Sui when they finally learned that this time... it wasn't just one betrayal.

There were many.

All hiding behind familiar faces. All masked in lies.

And now... no one could be trusted.
