Chapter 87 - Chapter 86 - Percy Jackson (III)

Godwyn turned his gaze back to Gabe and simply healed the man, but at the same time, erased his memories of Thalia, Sally, and Percy. Even if Gabe couldn't feel it, Thalia had released a small amount of divine energy.

Looking at Sally and Percy, who had their bags packed, Godwyn simply used the Divine Position of the God of Order and manipulated everything around him. Space distorted into a golden spiral, forming an impressive-looking portal.

Although Sally was surprised, she quickly got used to it. She had seen Poseidon control a hundred-meter-high wave as if it were something simple. Compared to the golden portal before her, she found the hundred-meter-high wave more impressive.

If Godwyn knew what Sally was thinking, he would have banged his head against the wall out of sheer frustration. Space manipulation became inferior to water manipulation in the woman's eyes. A fool could see which was better.

Of course, Godwyn didn't know what Sally was thinking and was satisfied with his work in spatial manipulation. He felt he was becoming increasingly familiar with his powers, although he had to train his other Divine Positions.

It wasn't his fault; he was fourteen, almost fifteen, but compared to these gods who were thousands, tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of years old, he was a baby who had just come out of diapers.

He didn't have enough time to train all his Divine Positions; otherwise, he could be much stronger than now. So, to prioritize his time, Godwyn simply chose his three most powerful Divine Positions:

Death, Order, and Prescience.

As for the others, he only did the basics and set them aside to focus on the most important ones. Godwyn believed that being the best at a few things was better than being common and mediocre at many things. So, he set aside the other Divine Positions for the moment and focused on the most important ones.

Percy felt that his worldview changed drastically in a few hours. Fortunately, he always had good adaptability, or he would have been truly shocked and confused for a long time. Under his surprised eyes, Godwyn and Thalia simply entered the portal.

Before he could ask anything, Sally took his hand and pulled him into the portal. Percy felt he was passing through a thin film of water, but strangely, he didn't feel wet, which left him feeling strange and confused.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a kind of bar, a place he definitely shouldn't be at eight years old. Percy saw above the display case full of liquor bottles a name written in an elegant and curvy script:

Garden of Eden.

Like Adam and Eve's Garden? Percy wondered, remembering the day he went to church and heard the priest talking about the story of human creation. Although he had been confused at the time how someone could emerge from someone else's rib.

"Seaweed Brain, welcome to the Garden of Eden, a safe place for all demigods." Thalia opened her arms and presented the place with an extremely proud tone. She had reasons to be proud, as the Garden of Eden was the beginning of the dream of a better and safer world.

"Demigod?" Percy asked with a confused expression, but seeing his mother's apprehensive look, he forced himself to suppress the urge to ask.

"Thalia, Godwyn, you are children and you are running a bar!?" Sally asked in an incredulous, slightly angry, and immensely worried tone. Thalia and Godwyn looked at each other with confused expressions; they had fought their whole lives, killed and survived, so what was running a bar compared to that?

Monsters looked at them with pity because they were just children? No! They would think demigods were even tastier when they were still children. So, whether it was Godwyn or Thalia, they really didn't care if it was a crime or not.

"Sally, we started fighting even younger than Percy; do you really think this seems worse than running a bar?" Godwyn said with a sigh. He started fighting at five years old; he was a child and had to wield a sword for the first time.

In comparison, Percy was lucky because of his mother's sacrifice and had a relatively stable childhood, being free from this heavy burden for twelve years. But not everyone had a mother or father willing to sacrifice everything for their children. It could be said that Sally was an angel on earth.

A bitter feeling tinged Sally's mouth; just imagining such young children fighting to survive made her heart ache. Just imagining that her son would go through that if she weren't present made her even more uncomfortable.

"I created this bar to protect all the children who couldn't reach Camp Half-Blood." Seeing her expression, Godwyn said in a gentle tone. He planned to make the entire Garden of Eden sentient, capable of attracting demigods. This was already being done, but it needed more time to be completed.

"Lord Godwyn, the quarters you requested are ready to receive the guests." When Sally was thinking about what to say, she heard a gentle and slightly melancholic voice. She turned her head and saw a beautiful teenager with olive skin and golden eyes.

"Thank you, Hazel. By the way, these are Sally and Percy; Percy, in particular, is your cousin." Godwyn thanked her and didn't forget to introduce Sally and Percy Jackson. After all, Hazel, Percy, Nico, Bianca, and Thalia were all cousins.

Hazel was surprised for a moment, but looking at the boy's sea-green eyes, she didn't even need to ask who Percy's father was. It was as obvious as Nico being Hades' son. Showing a gentle smile, she spoke softly, but with a slight melancholy, "Hello, Mrs. Jackson, Percy, I'm Hazel Levesque, your cousin."

Percy's face couldn't help but show a helpless expression; he had never had cousins, but for some reason, he had gained two cousins in a single day. However, remembering the experience with Thalia, he couldn't help but recoil and look cautiously at the girl.

The trauma of Thalia's "Fist of Love" was still especially fresh in his mind; he really didn't want to suffer the same fate again.

Hazel blinked and was confused by the cute little boy's cautious expression, but didn't think much of it and gave him another comforting smile. "Besides me, there are Bianca and Nico, both your cousins, but they are sleeping after training for some time."

Percy's face became even more shocked to learn that there were two more cousins he had never met in this place.

"What is this, a family reunion?" Percy couldn't help but speak with a touch of sarcasm; he really didn't understand what was happening.

Sally was also surprised; she didn't expect to find her husband's siblings' children in this place. However, remembering the rules Poseidon had told her, she couldn't help but be shocked to learn that no one really cared about following rules.

"Hazel, take Percy to meet Mimir; he will know what to do." Godwyn asked in a gentle tone. Hazel had practically become a butler for the Garden of Eden, and the girl had accepted the role with a happiness that surprised him.

"Sally, I'll take Percy to sign his name in the Guest Book; he'll be back in a few minutes." Before bringing Percy, Hazel spoke to Sally in a gentle tone. Seeing the woman nod, the Daughter of Hades took Percy's hand and led him upstairs.

"Would you like something to drink?" Seeing that Hazel took Percy, Godwyn turned to Sally and asked with a smile.

Sally shook her head and spoke in a tone still bothered by children running a bar intended for adults. "I don't like to drink, but I'll have some juice."

Godwyn smiled and gestured for her to sit down and began to explain what was happening while making the woman's drink.

Sally was shocked to truly learn how terrible the war between gods was; she couldn't help but worry about Poseidon. Although she thought Poseidon was the most powerful god, she still felt concern for his safety.

Thalia and Godwyn rolled their eyes, seeing the woman's concern before them. Although Sally loved Poseidon and Poseidon also loved Sally, both knew that Sally was not Poseidon's only lover. As God of the Seas, his lovers were truly numerous, like fish.

No, not even a cyclops escaped Poseidon's clutches; the god of the seas spared not even monsters, showing how lustful he was. Sally might have changed something in him, but it definitely wasn't his lust.

Honestly, Godwyn could believe that Odin became a fool, but believing that a Greek God would stop being lustful was a thought that never crossed his mind.

"I hope the war ends soon; a war is terrible." Sally said in a worried and tired tone. She brought the glass containing the watermelon juice to her lips, finding the drink refreshing and light, calming her complicated feelings.

Thalia rolled her eyes again. If the woman knew that the reason for the war was because Godwyn died, she had no doubt that Sally would ask Godwyn to reveal himself and prevent the war from continuing.

Unfortunately for Sally, Godwyn's death was just the trigger; the real reason was Odin's ego and Zeus's arrogance. One had to avenge his son or be despised; the other didn't apologize and even made things worse.

Upstairs, Percy followed Hazel to a red-doored room. After Hazel knocked on the door and an old man's voice sounded, the Demigod saw the girl open the door, revealing a large library.

There were more and more bookshelves; wherever Percy's gaze stopped, there were books. The typical smell of books filled the Son of Poseidon's nose. However, what shocked Percy was the head on top of a black oak counter.

The most shocking thing was that the head, even without a body, could move, using a pen to turn the pages of the book it was reading.

"And who might this little one be, Hazel?" Mimir stopped reading and spat the pen from his mouth. He looked at the boy with a curious but gentle gaze.

"My cousin Percy, Professor." Hazel said as she approached Mimir and looked at him with respect. Whether it was Nico, Bianca, or herself, all were taught by Mimir; the god of Knowledge never spared efforts in being an excellent teacher.

"Oh! A powerful demigod." Mimir exclaimed and murmured with an amused tone. "Does my king plan to steal all the sons and daughters of the Big Three?"

"Who are you, or rather, what are you?" Percy couldn't help but ask with a curious look. After all, it wasn't every day you saw a talking head.

"Me? I am the greatest ambassador of the Gods, of the Giants, and of all creatures of the Nine Realms. I know every corner of these lands, every language spoken, every war fought, every agreement made. They call me… Mimir! — the smartest man in the world, and I have the answer to all your questions." Mimir, as if expecting Percy's question, spoke in a loud and clear tone.

"And also the most beautiful and sexy head in the entire cosmos!"

Hazel put her hand over her face and turned her head, as if ashamed to look at what was happening. The Professor was good at everything, but he was somewhat narcissistic…

"You know everything!? Then I'd like to know all the recipes that use blue as ingredients!!!" Percy couldn't help but speak with a big innocent smile on his face, but he didn't see that Mimir's face stiffened at his question.

Recipes that use blue as ingredients? Colors have tastes!?

"Cough~ We'll talk about that later, young Percy. Now, write your name in the Guest Book." Mimir pretended to cough and quickly changed the subject. He really didn't know anything about Percy's question; this made him very embarrassed.

"What happens when I write my name in this Guest Book?" Percy forgot about the recipes and asked curiously.

"The Garden of Eden cannot be found, and even if it is, you will forget everything that happened inside the bar. When you sign your name in the Guest Book, you will not only permanently know the location of the Garden of Eden but also will not forget anything." Mimir explained with a slightly proud look, obviously satisfied with his and Godwyn's work.

Percy nodded, but didn't quite understand, although he signed his name without any hesitation.
