The next week, Diana smiled on seeing Peter enter the school.
"The genius." She said walking up to him.
She smiled and hugged him.
"Today is the deal day." He said, smiling, and gave her a peck on the cheek, making her smile.
"Alright, it's okay. Let's go in." He said and she nodded.
They both walked into the class smiling.
Peter's eyes met a new pretty lady, and he pointed to her, looking at Diana.
"Is she Claudia?" He asked and Diana nodded.
"Claudia, darling!" Diana bent to Claudia.
"Hi, Diana," Claudia said giving a cute smile.
"Meet my boyfriend, Peter. You can also call him the brain of the class, I mean science world." Diana said.
Claudia smiled and got up stretching her hands to Peter.
"Hi Peter, my name is Claudia." She said giving a cute smile.
Peter wore a smile.
"See you in my science world." He said and walked away making Claudia look on.
Diana followed Peter to his desk.
"Why did you speak to her like that?" Diana asked.
"Really, why are you asking like this?" Peter asked.
"You should make her feel welcome," Diana said.
"I made her feel welcome." He said.
"You didn't," Diana said and Peter smiled.
"You didn't notice her smile," Peter said and Diana smiled.
"It's normal." She said.
"Oh yes, that would mean she can have me," Peter said.
She shook her head understanding what he meant.
"No one can have you except me." She said and he smiled.
"That's more of it." He said.
"I need to prepare." He said and she left him.
Michael and Andrew walked into the class and shook hands with Peter.
"Mr. Peter Rivers." Peter heard his name being called and looked at Diana.
"Do not behave badly to Claudia since she just came." He said, touching Diana's cheeks, and left the class.
A teacher walked into the class and asked who would want to follow Peter to the competition.
Michael and Claudia were the first to raise their hands even before Diana and the teacher called them out.
"She is still new but chose to go with Peter which means he told me right," Diana said and sat down angrily.
The vehicle conveying them to the venue arrived, and the three students entered, joining the other students in the vehicle.
Diana watched as the vehicle drove away.
"You are meant to go with him," Andrew said to Diana, nodding.
"That girl, Claudia." She said and Andrew laughed.
"Yes, she is new. Do not be sad about her." Andrew said. "She always won every competition in her former school, so it is accepted that she will want to win every competition in this school."
"I didn't think of such," Diana said turning to Andrew. "She just came to the school."
"Yes, this is her first day here, and this proves that she will be good," Andrew said, and Diana smiled.
"That's right. I have thought she likes Peter." She said and Andrew smiled.
"She is still new here. " Andrew said. "No one is taking Peter from you."
"Thank you," Diana said with a smile. "You have relieved me."
Andrew smiled thinking of his friends. He only prayed that they would come back early so that they both could walk home together.
He thought about what he had told them about Terry. He would like them to go to visit her mother's shop.
"I miss them." He said and went to have his sit.
Getting to the competition, Peter was taken to a place while Claudia, along with Michael, walked to sit with the crowd.
They hailed Peter as he answered the questions he was being asked.
The competition lasted for an hour and Peter made the school win.
Michael hugged Peter while Claudia had a handshake with him and took some pictures together with the teachers.
They were given a trophy.
Minutes later, they all entered the bus which took them to their various schools.
Getting to his school, the teachers told them to go to their class.
Claudia stood still while a teacher called on Michael.
"Take her with you." The teacher said.
"Follow me to the science world," Michael said, and she smiled, following him as he pulled onto her bag.
Getting to the lab, she looked around and smiled seeing the decoration of the building.
"Wow, beautiful." She said with a smile on her face. "Hello everyone, I am Claudia."
She laughed and walked to an empty bench.
Michael walked to her and tapped her.
"You can't sit there." He said and she looked around.
"Where do I sit?" She asked, and he pointed backward.
"Over there." He said pointing backwards.
"Alright," Claudia said and got up.
She wore her bag and left.
A teacher entered the lab.
"Good day everyone." He said.
"Good day." Everyone said.
The teacher walked to the screen and typed some words.
"Who can tell about the dissection of a rabbit?" The teacher asked.
Both Claudia and Peter raised their hands.
The teacher smiled seeing that someone was also willing to explain along with Peter.
"Anyone else?" He asked.
Michael and Terry raised their hands.
"From you two," The teacher said.
Terry was the first to speak then Michael.
The teacher called on Michael, who gave his explanation, and they all clapped as he went intense.
"Claudia Banks," Claudia said.
"Our new Miss Claudia Banks." The teacher said.
Claudia walked to the front and began to explain. She picked many points from what Peter said and explained them making the teacher clap.
"Thank you." She said taking a bow.
"Wow, Miss Claudia Banks broke everything to our understanding." The teacher said, and Claudia smiled, walking to take her seat.
Peter looked back to see Claudia walk but returned his face on seeing Diana look at him.
"Wow, she is so good," Peter said.
Minutes later, the teacher left the class and Diana walked to Peter.
"I would like you to buy me a meal today." She said, and Peter smiled, looking at her.
