Iris figure moved like a blur using her qi to enhance her footwork and in no time, she had already gotten to the Xi Manor. She quickly snuck into the Xi Manor's kitchen and took the flammable oil used to light fire for cooking.
Iris took the oil and poured it around the Xi Manor and on the roof of the courtyards and lit it with a match stick instantly setting the manor on fire.
The whole manor was disarrayed as they tried to put out the fire. This gave Iris the chance to begin her extermination. Using her footwork enhanced by qi, she delivered a 'one kill more' taking the lives of the disarrayed guards and servants.
She killed her way into the center courtyard where she was sure the Xi family head and his family would be hiding while others died to protect them.
When Iris had finished with the guards and servants, she made her way into the center courtyard with blood dripping from her clothes. She looked like a demon who crawled out of hell as her eyes gleamed with murderous intent and her body released a chilly aura. The whole place was covered in the smell of blood and burning flesh and the fires on both sides as she walked gave her a more terrifying look. The people outside tried to put out the fire but the damage had already been done and there was no undoing it now.
Iris made her way into the Courtyard with steady pace. As she got to a slightly opened door, she Smirked icilly knowing fully well that the coward Family head and his family were hiding inside the room.
The moment Iris pushed open the door, Meng Xi jumped out holding a sword with both hands. She moved the sword with shaking hands and threatening fearfully.
"This is the Xi Manor. You dare to trespass.... you... you have some guts" Memg Xi said fearfully.
Before she could attack Iris, she fell down dead on the floor with a deep gash on her neck which was obviously done by Iris who had moved from her original position.
"Who's next" Iris asked coldly at the shaking family.
".... you....s..spare me....it was never my intention to hurt you and your family..." Madam Xi tried to reason fearfully.
"Coward! She's here to take our lives! She would never spare us!" The family head said through gritted teeth.
"Your trashy daughter dared to hire assassins to exterminate my family. You have guards watching her, can you say that you weren't aware of what she did?" Iris asked icilly making the Xi family shake in fear and madam Xi almost fainted.
"Do you know, your Xi family genius was indeed killed by me? And I am here to send you to him so that you all can have a family reunion" Iris said and smiled coldly.
"You bitch! You'll not have a good death! You will die a terrible death! "Xi fei cursed out loud.
"If you kill me, even if I turn into a ghost, I'll hunt you forever! "Xi fei threatened.
"Don't worry, you'll not have the chance to become a ghost" Iris said icilly before killing her by a thousand cuts in front of her parents and then taking their lives too in similar manner.
Iris left the scene after leaving a blood message on the wall saying, ' cut for cut, blood for blood'.
She stood on a hill and watched people try to put out the fire with a satisfied look knowing that she had avenged her mother and brother's grievances.
"I Long Xu lan, I'm not a pushover. Whoever tries to harm my family, must pay with their lives" Iris said before covering her head with the hood of her cloak and heading home.
Unknown to her that everything she said and did was witnessed by two pairs of eyes!
"Long Xu lan... interesting" one of the owners of the pair of eyes said while the other narrowed his eyes slightly.
