Early in the morning when Iris was to set off for her journey together with the Envoys from the imperial capital city, Song Mo came to her and Thanked her for her help in bringing him to glory. As expected of a smart person, he traced the incidence back to Iris!.

Iris was the last to arrive since the southern region was at the outer part of the Xuan Yuan empire. Iris was one of those who came alone while the other candidates came in pairs except for one youth.
There was supposed to be a banquet at the imperial Palace once all the candidates arrived and the Banquet just happened to be held the same day Iris arrived.
Iris was taken to the residence where there were smaller buildings inside. The personal servant assigned to her took her to one of the building's and opened it. It had a sitting area, a slightly big bedroom, bathroom and surprisingly, a library. Iris looked around in slight satisfaction and then went to unpack her belongings from her Space ring.
When she was done unpacking, there was a knock on the door of her room which made her brows frown slightly.
"Come in" she said simply and her personal servant walked in holding a Shiny box.
"Young miss Long, this just came from the palace. It is the clothes for you to attend the banquet tonight." The servant said before adding, "Every other Candidates were also given their own clothing too. Young miss Long didn't see the other candidates because they all went out to have some fun before the banquet. I believe only Young master Ling Yan is in the courtyard right now. I heard he came alone since his supposed teammate wanted to be attached to another external power so he forfeited this final competition" The Servant said with an air of gossip.
"I see. Am I to get ready now?" Iris asked indifferently.
" Yes young miss Long. We have a lot to do!." The servant said while looking excited.
After hours of bathing with scented water and hair washing, massages and many more body preparation that made Iris so close to tossing the servant out, Iris wore the closing that was sent to her from the palace. It was a white dress paired with a silver fur coat and silver colour footwear that of course would not be seen because of her flowing dress. It turns out that Iris was actually the only girl who would be participating in the final match! So, she received Special treatment which she was way too nonchalant to notice.
By the time Iris was done with her preparation, her Stunning features became even more Gorgeous!. She looked like a Cold and aloof fairy with her piercing dark brown cold eyes. Her hair was tied in a half pony tail with silver ornament to hold her long hair in place. Iris icilly refused the bigger ornaments and only wore the simple looking silver hair pin with a cresent moon on it. Her servant clapped in happiness after seeing how stunning Iris looked.
"Young miss Long, it is time to go" the servant said to which Iris nodded and glidded gracefully towards the carriage prepared for her and although she was looking stunning, her natural chilly aura always kept people at a distance from her.
She and the young master Ling Yan were privileged to ride their own carriages because of their lack of teammates. There were other three pairs that won from the other regions of Xuan Yuan empire while Iris alone represented the Southern region. Ling Yan was the grandson of the leader of the Ling family which was a famous external power in the western region. Iris was slightly taken aback by the fact that Ling Yan had such backing but was quite low-key and barely talked to the others according to the gossip of her servant. Of course, her servant said he didn't talk to the rest because they were not worth his attention with such backgrounds that he had. And even the others thought the same thing too.
Iris together with her servant arrived at the palace and just like any palace she had seen in Movies and the ones she visited together with her so called father in her previous life, it was furnished with gold and many precious stones with high sturdy walls surrounding it and beautiful gardens and flowers. It was divided into five parts with the banquet hall at the middle where Iris was headed to under the direction of the head Eunuch and some palace maids and servants by her side.
