Chapter 7 - I Am Your Liaison Remember.

Charles's face stiffened at that, knowing if the government was keeping something this hush-hush, it would be incredibly hard to tell what the project was even about. He asked, ''Are you sure that is all? Nothing more could be found by you as you were leaving, Frederick?''

I nodded and replied, ''Yes, that is mostly all I found. However, I did come across a name—or rather, another name that some have called it: Operation Zero Tolerance. They got rid of that, though. That is something to keep in mind, Charles. I am still doing my best to gather intelligence as the liaison of the X-Men. I can't just not do so, can I?''

Saying that with a shrug and a smile, Frederick suddenly glared at Charles before stopping, muttering to himself, knowing nearly everyone could hear him, ''Hmm... for a moment, it felt as if Charles was somewhat like Magneto. Eh, probably just some racism left in me after the brainwashing propaganda I've been seeing about mutants in my efforts for a better tomorrow.''

After doing so, he turned around, loosened the knot on his shoe—thought to be for even run-of-the-mill agents—and fixed his expression before getting up. ''Anyway, I'll get going and start doing what a liaison should. Xavier, have a good day.'' After saying that, Frederick left the room while waving his hand, which seemed like nothing to nearly everyone there—except one.

'It seems we are going with proposal 47: the life and death of dictator Frederick Duncan. It seems I'll be needing to help him contact Max to get this story rolling, though this can only happen after Onslaught, as we both need him to die so we can erase him with the Mind Gem before he gains strength to any magnitude and regains his memories.'

After thinking that, Moira turned to Charles Xavier. ''Though I'm usually on the sidelines and have devoted my life to mutants, even though I'm not one, I believe he is even more loving toward your kind than I am. Well, make sure to remember that.''

Moira, acting a little more distant toward Charles and continuing her act of anger at the name after they broke up, headed to her lab, deep in thought. 'From what Frederick has told me, we also need to limit Xavier's daughter from coming into contact with his mind, as she is a universal-level telepath. If contaminated by Onslaught, it would be huge trouble.

Thankfully, Frederick, with all the knowledge one could ever wish for, just wants peace—even if that means publicly letting himself be killed by Magneto to try and bring peace to Genosha. Though it will only be temporary, as Cassandra and what he calls House of M will happen as well.'

Letting out a breath of air that was not quite a sigh, Moira looked up at the ceiling with a frown, contemplating the man who watched the future, past, and peered into the secrets of the multiverse. He came back not quite sane nor mad—just wanting peace to be brought between two races that love to hate each other.

But as she did so, she also smiled, thinking, 'That man truly just wants peace after seeing so, so much death. Probably less than the amount I've seen, though it could very well be higher if you count the different timelines and universes' events. Ah, I nearly forgot: I need to prepare for the zombie virus and make sure to nip it in the bud or create a cure.

Hmm, judging from what he's told me, if one is destined for this world, it is most likely not going to be able to be stopped from spreading, as that's just fate. But that doesn't mean I can't make a cure. Wait, never mind. I can't do that, or I'll be killed or make things worse.

From what he's told me, those are the only options left for me, as I need to do what Reed and Stark do: make plans and a halfway plan just in case, without ever telling anyone or showing it off like I've done with the cure to mutants.' This time, she sighed.

As she got a headache thinking once again, she thought, 'Why, oh why, do I need to worry about 568 life-ending events, enslavement scenarios, hive mind incidents, and different strategies on how to survive them, prevent them, or just ways to reset everything so they don't even happen? Seriously, it feels like we're cursed when it comes to these things.

Though I can't really say anything, as we are, in fact, the most blessed inhabitants of a planet throughout the multiverse and are the center of it as well. Apparently, that's the case in other multiverses too. Ugh, I'll just stay the scientist of the two of us and let him think of all the tragedies that might or will befall us.'

'Man, after talking with Moira, it really scares me that all those different events happen in the span of 50 years—at most 10 to 13, and probably 18 to 23—since Hope Summers, the protagonist of this world (if you don't count Peter Parker), needs to be born while keeping Scott at around 30 or a little more.'

Sighing as he looked up into the sky while walking down the streets of New York, Frederick's thoughts ran wild. Then he thought of something: 'Wait a minute. Deviants aren't affected when an Eternal is revived, and mutants aren't either, but humans are—even though every human has an X-gene.

I should look further into this while I'm in-between inside the Nexus with Moira. I need a genius scientist like her who found the 'cure' for mutants in one go in her second life at around 20 to 27. Why does there need to be so much work when it comes to making sure this universe doesn't just keel over and die for no reason...?'

But he couldn't finish his thoughts as he remembered, 'Ah, that's right! She knows magic, so I should steal a few Reeds of Raggadorr from other realities or timelines to give them to her to study. There's no guarantee that even after my plan goes off, I won't die or lose the Time Gem.

Hmm, I believe there are a few more objects that can aid in resurrection. I just don't have the brainpower to think about that, as I spent an entire three hours scheming with Moira on ways to ensure Destiny can't come back after we came up with a bunch of crisis countermeasures.

While I, of course, did some non-toxic manipulation on Moira, I did tell her we would kill Mystique, right? If not, I'm sure she would do it anyway, as Mystique did ruin everything.'

After those long yet short thoughts, with the help of his brain that was superior to his past life's one, Frederick hailed another taxi as he texted a mutant friend in New York about being on his way for his flight back to Washington.

Closing his phone, Frederick thought, 'Now, how did Reed make a door that leads into the same place (the Baxter Building) with only technology alone? I know technology advanced enough is basically the same as magic, but still, the man casually revolutionized travel. It would be a waste to have to fly or drive a car to go anywhere throughout the planet.

But then again, didn't his daughter make perfect teleportation that allowed her to move while teleporting and appearing? I guess this might really just be nothing to the man, huh?'

( A/N: Fun Fact | There are infinity gems that work in other universes as infinity gems are just the law of the universe they came from for instance if a universe had a law like it can be accessed freely by any other universe those gems would work in any universe or if it had a law that infinity gems had their own free will and likes and dislikes.

Hence being living entities then they would work in any universe that is really what Frederick is betting on finding one of those you might think it would be hard but no it wouldn't there are multiple items in marvel that allow you to find what your heart seeks.

So with that Frederick plans on giving a few to Moira to study then replicate and after doing so to use them only to find the time stones/gems he needs.)
