Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Sugarcoat

"Is something wrong Lilith?"

"No. Just from now on, no parties in my house. At all " she moved to leave the room but stops "oh and anyone else except you is not allowed in this place."

"O...okay." Now she was sure something was up with Lilith. She was going to dig it up later. But right now, she needs to know how and what Lilith had done about her mission.

"So... How'd it go?" Malia had asked but Lilith ignored her and opened the door.

"Not now." She left the room saying that. When she went back to the party she saw some people that weren't supposed to be there. One of them was Ethan. He had noticed she had sighted him and left the house. Lilith had followed him out of the house but he was nowhere to be found. It was cool outside and past midnight. She walked to the nearest alley and there he was amongst some others. They all except Ethan wore black hoods.

Ethan was one of the strongest demons in hell. He was made head solider under Lorthaire's command. Lilith knew why he was here. That damn Lorthaire sent him. She was being watched but she just had to confirm.

"So... What'd you guys want?" Her voice echoed.

"We were told to accompany you." Ethan had spoken up.

"I'm being watched now ?" She knew Lorthaire would make that precaution soon. But it was quite soon enough. She hadn't even gotten the location of the ring of flames yet.

"See... Lorthaire quite knows the kind of woman you are."

"And what's that supposed to mean?"

"He doesn't trust you Lilith." Of course. She almost forgot Ethan is not the kind of guy to sugar coat his words. According to how it is, he says it.

"I didn't tell him to." She smiled "But I also can't allow you all to roam around me"

"We'll keep our distance Lilith"

"Can't let you do that either. So think we gat a bit if a problem."

"We're not gonna reject our job."

"I'm not telling you to." Her eyes blazed. "I could just eliminate you all. " "Instead leave"

Lilith didn't want to fight with them but they were not helping out at all. She knew Lorthaire didn't trust her. Of course he wouldn't. But still, working while being watched especially by them is something that doesn't quite suite her.

Nevertheless, she had to get rid of them and now. Her eyes blazed red and heat began to envelope the cold atmosphere. She warned for the last time.

"I said leave." Lilith was serious and she knew there was no stoping once she settled to do something but those damn demons were not flinching at all. They didn't seem scared. Instead they were more courageous and believed that they could actually beat her.

Lilith became angered and rushed at them in her highest speed. She was damn angry and in some seconds three heads fell. The others became alerted and more serious now seeing she wasn't joking. She charges at them again with her fire powers but this time, Ethan had blocked her . He kicked her but she easily dodged. Another demon had tried to hit her from behind but she burned the guy with her flames as she distanced herself from Ethan. There were still five more demons apart from Ethan and she planned take them out first.

Pulling out her twin dagger she usually shealted on her thigh, she headed for her first victim. With speed and agility she had stabbed the first's abdomen and then slashed it up to his chest before pulling the dagger out and kicking him aside. Then next, she did a black flip and then stabbed his leg before kicking him with fire blazing for her feet, the third had wanted to surprise hit her but just a glance at him, he caught fire. The remaining two had cowered in fear. Her aura was blazing and it was almost like a volcano had erupted right there. Fire began to ooze from her that even Ethan felt intimidated.

She glanced at those two and their first instinct was to run but they didn't get the chance to since her blade was already deep into their abdomen.

She slowly walked to where those two fell and picked her most precious items. Her blades wiping their bloods on their hood.

Lilith looked at the two she had killed. It wasn't a new sight for her but she was for sure that if they didn't do their work they would still end up dead even worse than this. so she didn't care....

Someone clapped behind her and she remembered Ethan still remained. It was time to face him
