The next morning came with warm sunlight peeking through the high window of the small servant room Clint had been given. He was still laying on the bed, arm over his face, sleeping soundly for once.

Cold water hit his face hard, soaking his hair and shirt. Clint's eyes shot open as he jumped up with a loud yell.
"What the fuck?!"
He stood on the bed, dripping, confused and furious. His heart pounded as he wiped his face.
When he looked at the door, he saw a woman holding an empty bucket. she had a straight face and didn't even blink at his outburst. Beside her stood Elric, arms crossed, looking completely unimpressed.
"Elric, you—!" Clint pointed at him, but before he could finish, Elric turned around and walked away, waving a hand.
"If you don't wake up on time," Elric said coldly, "this will happen again."
