The duke blinked, caught off guard for a moment. The ears twitched and moved as the person mumbled, clearly frustrated.
"Arghh, damn it, it fell down! I need to hurry before anyone see me or El—"
The duke grinned faintly, lowering himself quietly behind the boy. Then he bent down, voice low against the soft ear, "Or else what?"
The bunny ears jumped straight up.
Clint spun quickly, a reflex. His knee twisted as he sent an elbow toward the person behind him but the duke easily caught the move. His grip locked Clint's wrist with ease.
But the movement was too fast, and the grass beneath them was slippery. Clint stumbled.
The duke lost balance.
Thud.
Clint's eyes widened. He found himself lying on top of the duke, both of them on the ground, tangled up with dirt and grass stuck on their clothes.

"..."
Neither moved for a moment. Clint's cheeks slowly turned red.
