Chapter 123 - Chapter 123: Champa’s Exercise Quota

Levos temporarily dismissed the idea.

There simply wasn't enough time to conceive and nurture a new Saiyan warrior. Besides, Goku was already separated from Chi-Chi by life and death.

If only there were two more Saiyans with righteous hearts...

While Levos was contemplating the plan to birth a new Saiyan God, everyone at the Lookout had already gathered in the plaza.

Shin, the Supreme Kai, was smiling as he introduced himself to Vados.

"Hello, I'm the Supreme Kai of this universe, and this is my bodyguard and attendant, Kibito."

Vados gave a graceful nod.

"Just call me Vados. I'm the attendant of Lord Champa, the God of Destruction from Universe 6."

"Hey! Vados, how could you reveal my identity?!" came Champa's disgruntled voice from behind a pile of messy food wrappers.

Vados raised a delicate brow and glanced at him, her tone calm.

"Lord Champa, things like this are impossible to keep hidden. Please maintain your dignity and manners as a guest."

Champa reluctantly stood up, setting down his empty can.

"I'm only sightseeing in your universe. I have no interest in meddling in the affairs of another. So don't even think of asking me to help with this planet's crisis."

Shin blinked in confusion.

"God of Destruction?"

Champa rolled his eyes.

"Don't tell me you're a fake Kai? You don't even know what a God of Destruction is?"

Shin rubbed his nose awkwardly, unsure how to respond.

"My apologies. Due to some... accidents, the lineage of this role has been interrupted," Levos explained calmly.

Vados gave Levos a brief glance, her eyes showing a hint of sympathy.

"Your universe really has such an incompetent Supreme Kai," Champa said bluntly. "Even without those terrifying enemies popping up, I bet Beerus would have ended up the same way..."

"Beerus?" Shin asked cautiously.

"He's the God of Destruction for your universe. His job is to erase planets and destroy those who destabilize the universe," Champa replied, clearly annoyed.

Shin's eyes widened.

"So, that means he was really powerful?"

"Of course. Every God of Destruction is incredibly powerful!" Champa said with pride.

"You said Gods of Destruction eliminate threats to the universe... then how do I find ours and ask him to eliminate the enemies?"

Champa sighed and didn't even want to bother responding.

Vados gave a faint smile.

"Lord Supreme Kai, your God of Destruction, Lord Beerus, has already passed away... due to certain... secret circumstances."

Shin wasn't stupid. Piecing the information together, he started to realize the grim truth.

According to ancient teachings, if a Supreme Kai dies, a certain great being also dies as a consequence.

Could it be... his life was linked to Beerus?

As that thought dawned on him, cold sweat formed on his forehead.

He finally understood.

And he realized just how grave a mistake he had made.

His actions hadn't just cost his own life, but had also taken down Lord Beerus with him.

Now the entire universe had plunged into unprecedented danger.

"Is there a way to bring Lord Beerus back?" Shin asked, his voice bitter as he turned to Vados.

Levos's eyes lit up. Someone had finally asked the crucial question.

"Resurrect Lord Beerus..." Vados looked past Shin and focused on Levos, her smile mysterious.

"Mr. Levos, when you wished to revive your universe's Supreme Kai, didn't you have another goal in mind?"

Though she didn't state the symbiotic bond between Supreme Kais and Gods of Destruction outright, Levos knew she had seen through him.

He responded steadily, "You're right. I was trying to use that wish... to see if I could bring a certain someone back."

Seeing him admit it so plainly, Vados narrowed her eyes in surprise.

She hadn't expected him to be so forthcoming.

Levos met her gaze without a hint of guilt or fear.

After all, Future Trunks already knew all this he had someone to take the blame.

Vados smiled softly.

"In that case, do you have any other method you'd like to try?"

Levos paused.

"Not at the moment. But maybe the Dragon Balls on New Namek could bring the Supreme Kai back."

"Is that so..." Vados trailed off, her voice teasing. "Then I wish you success."

Levos nodded calmly.

"Thank you."

Shin seemed visibly moved by the support.

Champa, however, looked anything but composed.

He stormed over.

"Hey, brat! Where exactly are those Dragon Balls on New Namek?"

"I'm not sure. They might've been taken away by someone incredibly powerful," Levos replied.

"Powerful? Stronger than that pink-haired Gogeta or whatever?"

"Probably..."

Levos wasn't entirely sure either. After all, Moro, who made three wishes to increase his power, had reached terrifying levels.

And his final form still required absorbing Seven-Three, the artificial lifeform.

He wondered if Cell Max could absorb someone like Seven-Three...

Seven-Three was a major setup character bridging the Moro arc and the Granolah arc in the original manga, possessing the ability to copy others' powers.

From what Levos knew, OG73-I was a mass-produced alien tech bioform. Seven-Three was just one unit.

Currently, one of them was being held in Galactic Prison. Maybe he could pull some strings with King of the Galaxy and sneak the guy out early.

That way, he'd not only power up himself in advance but also sabotage Moro's plans in one shot. Two birds with one stone!

"What the hell is wrong with your universe?!" Champa roared. "It's all that idiotic Supreme Kai's fault! If Beerus were still alive, none of this would've happened!"

Shin lowered his head further in shame.

"Lord Champa, would you consider stepping in for Lord Beerus and fulfilling his duties?" Levos tested the waters.

Champa quickly waved it off.

"No thanks! I'm not doing that exhausting and annoying job."

Vados chuckled with narrowed eyes.

"But Lord Champa, you just ate a lot... that means your exercise quota for today has gone up too."

Champa exploded.

"Shut it, Vados! I was just tasting! Tasting doesn't count as eating!"

Levos glanced at the mountain of empty food wrappers, then at Champa's round belly.

It was time to think about how to manipulate this glutton into lending a hand.
