Levos paused for a moment, then suddenly looked up at Champa and said, "Lord Champa, to be honest, what you just ate... doesn't even come close to what Earth's real delicacies taste like."
"Huh?" Champa blinked in surprise. So all that food he just devoured wasn't even the best Earth had to offer?
Vados's eyes twinkled with curiosity, clearly intrigued.
"Then tell me," Champa said cautiously, "what kind of delicious food does Earth have?"
His expression shifted unpredictably. He had already made up his mind. If Earth truly had better food than what he just ate, then no matter what, he had to claim that planet for himself!
Levos gave a mysterious smile. "Don't worry, Lord Champa. As long as you help us out, I guarantee no dish on Earth will ever escape your tastebuds."
"But..." Levos paused deliberately, dangling the bait, "you mustn't go to Earth alone and sneak food by yourself. Sure, Earth has tons of amazing dishes, but it also has some of the most horrendous dark cuisine. Without a seasoned guide, you might never taste the true gourmet treasures."
Champa swallowed nervously and, after a moment of internal struggle, finally nodded. "Fine! Since you're begging me so sincerely, I'll reluctantly help that Beerus fool out."
He paused before adding, "But I won't be using my full power as a God of Destruction. At most, I'll step in if things really get out of hand."
"And if you're lying to me, I'll erase you without hesitation!"
With Champa's promise secured, Levos finally felt the weight in his heart lift.
Vados cast him a sly look. "Levos, you seem to know Lord Champa quite well... You figured out his one weakness is food."
Levos raised an eyebrow and responded casually, "Well, I'm a foodie too. The moment I saw Lord Champa and Miss Vados, I knew we were kindred spirits."
Vados narrowed her eyes and giggled softly behind her hand. "If I get the chance, I'll let you taste my cooking."
Levos looked confused.
She added, "Even someone as picky as Lord Champa can't find a single flaw in my culinary skills."
Champa shivered slightly. "That's only after you got your hands on the top-tier recipe of the most delicious dish in the entire universe!"
Levos nodded awkwardly, agreeing with her.
Now, he could finally move forward with his real plans.
"Mr. Kibito, please take me back to Earth."
Kibito looked puzzled but didn't question it.
Moments later, the two of them returned to a fully restored Earth.
Levos intended to tie up a few loose ends here.
It didn't take him long to track down a few of Frieza's leftover lackeys.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Levos."
"Le-Levos?! What happened to your appearance?!"
Levos gave a brief explanation of how he had turned from human to frog to Cell Max.
The soldiers quickly understood the wild series of events. Their gazes toward Levos were now full of awe and reverence.
After all, Cell Max's strength was undeniable.
Ever since Levos had defeated Tagoma head-on, his status in the Frieza Force had skyrocketed.
Now that both Frieza and his father were away on the Sacred World of the Kai, Levos was the de facto leader on Earth, second only to Frieza himself.
Levos swept a cold gaze across them. "Listen up. I want you to use your comms to spread a message to every remaining soldier on Earth. Tell them to gather immediately!"
"Yes, Lord Levos!"
Even though Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien Shinhan were helping maintain order on Earth, Levos wasn't satisfied.
He planned to take advantage of the fact that his identity hadn't been exposed yet and clean up the Frieza Force remnants once and for all.
Just then, a mental transmission entered his mind.
It was King Kai's voice. "Levos! Krillin and the others are saying they're short on manpower to maintain order!"
"What's going on?" Levos asked curiously.
King Kai quickly gave him the rundown.
Levos's face shifted between emotions.
The Earth had been restored to how it was 25 years ago, and most people had come back to life.
However, the number of people revived was massive.
Some survivors from the apocalypse refused to believe peace had returned to Earth and started causing chaos.
Levos raised an eyebrow and responded to King Kai, "I got it. I'll handle this myself."
He turned to the Frieza Force soldiers and gave a new order. "Forget the gathering. Go maintain order. Arrest anyone causing trouble."
The soldiers looked at each other, unsure what to make of it.
"Suppress the rebellion. Got it now?" Levos said coldly.
Suddenly everything clicked.
"Understood! We know exactly what to do! This is our specialty!"
"One more thing," Levos added, voice chilling. "Don't damage a single blade of grass or harm anyone. If you disobey, I'll absorb you myself."
He flicked his thick tail menacingly.
The soldiers were shocked by the order but didn't dare argue.
Under the command of their officers, they headed out to carry out the mission.
Levos watched a few squads in action. As expected, they were seasoned veterans at handling this sort of thing, and none of them violated the rules he had laid out.
Only then did he relax.
Against Earthlings with average fighting strength, these Frieza Force grunts were more than enough.
The entire suppression operation unfolded in an orderly fashion.
Now Levos had time to meet with a few key members of Frieza's army.
The one he valued most was Frieza's chief science officer, Kikono.
The yellow-skinned, ant-headed alien was currently trembling before Levos.
"L-Lord Levos, is it true… Frieza-sama is dead?"
"Yes," Levos nodded.
"Then... then I…"
"Don't worry, Mr. Kikono," Levos said. "I value your scientific knowledge. From now on, stay by my side."
Frieza's tech was impressive healing pods, space ships, battle armor, scouters, energy weapons they were all top-tier gear.
"Saviza!"
"Neez!"
"Dore!"
"Cooler Armored Squadron, reporting in!"
"Lord Levos, Lord Cooler transferred us to Frieza's forces. From now on, we serve you!"
Levos took a sharp breath.
Once again, he was reminded of Captain Ginyu...
