"I get it. The three of you, come with me."
Since Levos had already revived them using the Dragon Balls, he wasn't about to let them go to waste.
Immediately after, he began searching for Ginyu's energy signature.
"Hm? What's this…"
Levos paused for a moment. In the next instant, his figure vanished.
Babidi!
The moment he laid eyes on him, Levos moved like lightning and grabbed him by the throat.
"Mmgh mmgh!"
Babidi's eyes bulged wide, his mouth opening in a desperate attempt to plead, but all he could produce were choking sounds. His legs kicked wildly as he struggled to break free.
Interesting. It seemed that after Majin Buu devoured him, Babidi hadn't been absorbed into Buu's being, he had truly died.
Levos frowned and loosened his grip slightly, expressionless.
"Tell me. How did you use dark magic to enhance your subordinates?"
"Cough-cough!"
Babidi clutched his throat, gasping for air.
"Y-you damn Earthling… That's a secret of the Demon Realm! You'll never know…"
"Alright then. If you're useless to me, I'll just absorb you."
Levos said it like he was talking about the weather.
In the next second, he launched into space with Babidi in hand. From the tip of Levos's tail, a mass of purple bio-matter extended outward. With a quick motion, it wrapped around Babidi, who was screaming in terror, and swallowed him whole.
Then, without missing a beat, he absorbed Fused Zamasu before his body could fully regenerate.
"Phew…" Levos let out a breath.
Absorbing Babidi seemed to bring about some subtle changes to his body. Maybe once he fully adapted to Cell Max's form, he'd be able to tap into those mysterious dark magic abilities.
"Demon Realm…" Levos murmured, eyes turning deep and thoughtful.
Any world that dared to oppose the Omni-King and the gods head-on couldn't be simple.
After a moment of silence, Levos used Instant Transmission and returned to Earth.
In West City, he located Ginyu still trapped in his frog body.
Upon seeing Levos, the frog began hopping and gesturing excitedly.
Unfortunately, his voice translator had been destroyed, so he could only croak incoherently.
Levos chuckled and gently pinched the frog's body.
"Captain Ginyu, looks like you'll have to stay a frog a little while longer."
"Ribbit! Ribbit!" Ginyu called out in protest.
Smiling, Levos conjured a luxurious aquarium with magic and plopped him inside.
Then he used Instant Transmission again, arriving at Capsule Corp.
"Levos!"
Tien Shinhan, Krillin, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and the others were all gathered.
"It must've been tough holding the fort while I was gone. Thanks for everything."
Levos stepped forward and patted Puar's head with a gentle smile.
"It wasn't much." Krillin scratched his head, though worry was written on his face. "But are you sure it's okay to use members of Frieza's army to maintain Earth's order?"
"For now, it works. But you're right, it's not a long-term solution."
Levos was well aware of that.
"Maybe… we should make up some kind of lie about a 'savior'? Otherwise, this world's gonna spiral into chaos again." Yamcha suggested, deep in thought.
A savior?
Levos paused.
True, although everyone had been revived, no one had explained the situation to the people. And without Dragon Balls, they couldn't erase the memories of death from their minds.
That would definitely lead to panic.
"In that case, Levos, you're the perfect person for the role!"
"Yeah! You gathered the Dragon Balls and restored everything."
"This world would've been doomed without you."
"No way!" Levos flatly rejected. "I'm still just a monster right now. Besides…"
He hesitated for a moment. "I know someone better suited for the job."
He wasn't great at deception, and the idea of being called a 'savior' didn't interest him in the slightest.
The others looked curious.
"Who is it? Bulma?" Chiaotzu asked.
"With Capsule Corp's influence, she does have a lot of authority."
"And her contributions can't be denied."
"Not Bulma." Levos shook his head. "Someone called Mr. Satan."
Mr. Satan had built up a strong reputation during the apocalypse and had even won several World Martial Arts Tournaments. Among Earthlings, he was considered a powerhouse.
He was also born for the spotlight and had a real talent for showmanship. In the original timeline, he had even helped save the Earth twice, albeit indirectly.
That's why Levos decided to hand the role of 'savior' over to him.
"Mr. Satan?"
"Who's that?"
The group fell silent. None of them had heard the name before.
"I'll bring him here."
Levos immediately located Kibito and used Instant Transmission to head to the Sacred World of the Kais.
In the divine palace atop the World of the Kais...
"…So that's the situation, Mr. Satan. I hope you can help."
Levos gave a brief but direct explanation.
"Absolutely! Leave it to me! I'm this world's true savior!"
Mr. Satan beamed and agreed without hesitation.
"Dad! You're stealing someone else's credit again!" Videl's face turned red with embarrassment.
Mr. Satan turned to her, looking unusually serious.
"Videl, this isn't stealing credit. It's taking responsibility on someone else's behalf. Understand?"
"I do… but Dad…" Videl looked conflicted.
Levos spoke gently. "It's alright, Videl. I need Mr. Satan's reputation for this. It's mutually beneficial. I hope you'll understand."
"…Okay." Videl eventually gave in.
Seeing Mr. Satan brimming with excitement, Levos said, "Then let's get going."
"Hold it!" Champa's annoyed voice rang out. "You went all the way to Earth and brought back nothing for me? You dare ignore a God of Destruction?!"
Levos raised an eyebrow. So the food-loving Champa was fishing for treats.
Gods of Destruction really weren't easy to deal with.
Still, satisfying his appetite wasn't hard for Levos right now.
"Ahem." Levos cleared his throat and said solemnly, "I returned too quickly this time. Next time, I promise I'll bring something delicious for you to enjoy!"
"Hmph!" Only then did Champa nod in satisfaction.
"Alright then. Let's go."
Levos placed his hand on Kibito's shoulder.
"Ahem…" Kibito suddenly coughed. "Wait a minute… I'm still low on stamina. Instant Transmission isn't exactly free…"
Levos blinked and turned to look at him.
Sure enough, Kibito's flushed face was covered in sweat, and he was breathing heavily. He looked absolutely exhausted.
Levos's eyes darkened slightly.
If they wanted to use Instant Transmission frequently, this would be a real problem.
Dende quickly stepped forward.
"Kibito, let me restore your energy."
A faint white glow shimmered and Kibito's stamina returned to normal.
But Dende himself staggered and broke into a sweat.
"Sorry… my own stamina and mental energy are completely drained…"
Levos blinked, then had an idea.
"Kibito, can you restore Dende's stamina now?"
Kibito immediately understood what Levos was implying.
"Uh… I'll give it a try…"
