Chapter 3 - 3

Sins

They were transgressions against God's laws.

Seven sins the world knows.

But more existed.

The seven sins.

Pride.

Greed.

Lust.

Envy.

Gluttony.

Wrath.

Sloth.

Midas' feet dangled off the roof of the penthouse. He was outside, on the top, staring at the night sky.

Tomorrow was Love-chan's greeting, yet he was focused on the sins of the world.

"For god so loved the world, that he gave his only Son," he muttered, his blue eyes flashing red with wrath.

"The bible exists in this world, yet the world is so deranged, so corrupted, the words are barely known in this world."

Yes, he knew the seven sins he bore; he was the embodiment of sins, not just seven sins, but also the sins that break the Ten Commandments.

If God so loved the world.

Why hate god?

He doesn't; he hates humanity. Midas despised humans. He bore sins and had a duty, but humans could do whatever they wanted.

But laws exist for one reason: to prevent people from committing sinful acts or causing harm to others.

'But I chose to hate'

Midas sighed as he inhaled the refreshing and pungent smell of the sea.

He looked down to see the cars driving by, or people roaming the streets for an outing, a party, or drinks at the bars.

Yet he could see how many were close to being saved and the sins many had in their hearts.

Dark. Stench of decay.

That smell was delicious, like candy, sweet and tempting, and he wanted to take everyone's soul for himself.

Yet he won't.

"Being sealed wasn't bad. I can relax for once," Midas muttered as he sighed and slouched.

His phone buzzed, and he picked up to see his sister Eun-ae send a message that made him angry.

[Eun-ae: problem, the CEO of Vtube took an interest in the mother, and Ha-yun, and we are being followed]

Midas' jaw clenched tightly as his eyes turned red, with slits for pupils; an ominous black aura began to leak out.

[Midas: I'll be there]

Without hesitation, he jumped off the building and vanished into it, like evaporation.

At the restaurant near the beach, Eun-ea, HongRyeon, Ha-yun, and Chae-won sat around a table draped with red cloth, with a candle in the middle.

All four women were beautiful and well-dressed, in tight clothes that made them stand out.

HongRyeon and Eun-ea were in business clothes, Eun-ea with her white buttoned shirt tightly on her curves, with a pencil skirt hugging her round butt.

HongRyeon was wearing a red button-down shirt with a black pencil skirt; compared to Eun-ae, HongRyeon was more refined in both the lower and upper departments.

"This isn't good," Eun-ae said, twirling the glass with red wine. She bit her lips in caution but also felt scared.

The restaurant was spacious and well-lit. It was elegant, with a red carpet and white walls for aesthetic appeal. The windows were slightly open to let in the gentle breeze and the smell of the sea.

But their attention is elsewhere.

"They've been watching us." Chae-won, the mother of the girls, was beautiful, breathtaking. Her black dress hugged her body perfectly, accentuating her curves tightly. Her breasts were round and large, and she received a lustful gaze from men. Her light blonde hair was tied in a bun.

"Fucken perverts." Ha-yun glared at the people in the far corner. Her hair was tied in a ponytail, which flowed down just below her hips. Her red eyes glaring at the fat man, her white shirt clung to her body, tucked into her blue jeans that hugged her thighs and ass nicely and tightly.

The smell of steak was strong, but the smell of wine, from different varieties, was also strong.

"Let's pay and get the hell out of here." Ha-yun stood up, followed by the rest.

They went to pay, but the men inside, including the fat man dressed in suits, quickly followed when they left the restaurant.

They followed not far, but the fat man licked his lips as he ran his hand through his greasy hair.

The four quickened their pace and headed to an alleyway. The fat man smirked as the four men in suits, probably bodyguards, security personnel, or friends he had called, followed.

But they saw no sign of the woman when they entered the alleyway. They entered, spreading out to search and pushing deeper into the shadows.

Cold.

Too cold, they can see their breath.

A chill ran down their spines as they realized the situation was not over.

"W-what the fuck?" one man cursed out as he turned and stretched, at the beginning where they entered, as if they had walked one mile.

They looked up, panicking, to see that the walls stretched endlessly to the sky.
