c120: Obtain the Ability to Travel Through Time and Space! Traveling Through Parallel Worlds
Luya didn't miss Bulma's party. He laughed and shared the story of his escape from the collapsing future timeline but, of course, he left out some details. If he told them about invoking Angel Authority or using system tricks, it would be too unbelievable.
Even with the abridged version, everyone was shocked. Krillin, Yamcha, and even Piccolo frowned when they heard about Zamasu's unkillable immortal body, the desperate battle, and the Earth's destruction in Trunks' future.
Still, the most important part was that Luya had finished Zamasu once and for all. Although the future Earth was gone, the Zero Mortals Plan had been stopped. That alone was worth celebrating.
And now, everyone realized something else: Luya had surpassed even Goku and Vegeta in raw growth. For now, he was Earth's strongest defender.
The party wound down, the threat of Zamasu was past, and one by one the guests left.
Luya returned to his own residence, exhaling deeply. This time, he had cut it close. His secrets had nearly slipped out. If Whis or Beerus became too suspicious, things would get troublesome.
"I need to make my abilities look like natural evolution," he muttered. "Otherwise, I'll never be able to use them freely."
Just then, a thought struck him.
"Wait… I defeated Zamasu. Shouldn't the system issue a reward?"

"System… does this mean I can actually travel freely between past, future, and parallel worlds?"
System: "Correct."
Luya's eyes lit up. "Then I can jump to other eras at will? Even alternate timelines?"
System: "In theory, yes."
"…In theory?!" Luya snapped. "Don't tell me you're just guessing!"
System: "Host, rewards are issued according to mission completion. They are not wishes granted by the system. This ability is real. However using it is extremely dangerous. A mistake in mental focus can pull you into temporal turbulence. Where you end up… depends entirely on your luck."
Luya's smile twitched. "So I can go anywhere… or nowhere. Got it."
System: "One more warning: if you are noticed by an Angel-level being while traveling, it may cause serious consequences. This system does not wish to be deleted. I cannot eat, but I still wish to survive."
"…You call that a joke?" Luya muttered. "Fine. Let's test it."
He let his thoughts wander. His body shimmered and then whoosh! vanished.
Moments later, a rift split open above a barren planet. Luya appeared, floating in the skies.
"This… this is Huo Shang Guo Xing?" His eyes widened. Somehow, he had jumped exactly where he wanted.
So, this wasn't just teleportation, it was true time-space traversal.
Encouraged, he focused again, this time on the Earth ten years ago.
A ruined cityscape greeted him, smoke rising from half-demolished buildings. Luya frowned. The scars of old battles still lingered here. After a moment, he disappeared again this time returning home.
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for first use of time-space travel. Proficiency +5.]
[Ding! New system quest unlocked: Perform 5 time-space travels! Required location: Key battle points in Dragon Ball history! Each traversal requires defeating the corresponding enemy. Time limit: 1 month.]
Luya's jaw dropped. "Wait… I have to relive the Dragon Ball storyline?!"
System: "Correct. The host must confront villains across multiple eras."
"…You might as well make me a guest character in the original manga!"
System: "As long as the host is satisfied."
Luya sighed, rubbing his temple. "Fine. But what if I refuse?"
System: "Failure to comply will result in task suspension and potential penalties."
"What penalties?"
System: "Unknown. Would you like to test it?"
Luya: "…Pass."
Two days later, after settling matters, he prepared to leave this timeline again.

Meanwhile, far away, Whis suddenly paused during Goku and Vegeta's training. His staff's crystal ball shimmered faintly. For an instant, he glimpsed something then his eyes narrowed.
A strike from Goku came in. Whis casually raised his hand and blocked it.
"What's wrong, Whis?" Goku asked.
Even Vegeta stopped mid-strike, frowning.
"…Nothing. Just something interesting." Whis smiled faintly.
He turned back to them. "Your strength improved after Zamasu, but it's superficial. Son Goku, you chase strong opponents but neglect refinement. Vegeta, your pride makes your ki control too rigid. Both of you hit ceilings this way."
"What should we do?" Goku asked.
"You must unify mind and body. Fight without distraction. Only then will you surpass your limits." Whis smiled. "Luya understood this well that's why he reached a different path. His Super Saiyan God isn't like your Blue form. His red transformation still has room to grow. Yours… not so much."
Vegeta's face twitched. "Hmph!"
"Beyond Super Saiyan Blue?" Goku's eyes sparkled.
Whis only smirked. "Perhaps. Train harder, and maybe you'll even surpass Lord Beerus one day."
The two Saiyans froze, then grinned new fire burning in their hearts.

Time flowed on. The multiverse still spun toward the Tournament of Power.
On another day, in the void of space, reality cracked. Luya's figure emerged.
[Ding! Sign-in successful: Planet Namek! Mission timer begins now.]
"Planet Namek?!" Luya blinked.
System: "Yes. Parallel world mission initiated. Good luck."
Luya clenched his fists. His strength was intact. At least here, he could fight without restraint.
"…But I wonder," he muttered, "if I can travel into other series too… Naruto? One Piece?"
His thought was cut short. Whoosh! A bright beam shot at him. Luya raised a hand, deflecting it easily, shattering the attack.
From the horizon, five figures in odd poses descended. Their scouters beeped wildly.
Luya's mouth twitched. "The Ginyu Force? Seriously? This system really does want me to re-enact the plot…"
