"The shipment of herbs from the Medicine Hall is here!" [1]
"Finally! We were almost out of the ingredients needed to produce the Plant Vitality Potions." [2]
"The same goes for the Life Potions. Our remaining supplies wouldn't have lasted another week." [3]
Outside the Crucible Collective Guild, two alchemists and an alchemy technician watched as a Sunsoar carrying a large cargo of herbs descended and landed a few meters away.
"We should have enough to meet the farmers' current demand now." [2]
From the medicine cultivators who produced the herbs, to the alchemists and alchemy technicians who processed them, then to the farmers and doctors who put the products to use, and finally to the consumers—the subjects.
It was a complete cycle of production and consumption contained within Blazing Sun City.
Looking back at what had once been nothing more than a small camp, the transformation was astonishing.
The city had developed to the point where nearly every essential product and service its people needed could be produced, processed, distributed, and consumed within its own borders.
.
At the border between the Kingdom of Aurora and the Kingdom of Tahan
"We have to retreat farther. The foot soldiers can't withstand the combined attacks of the Tahans and the Kobolds."
Phil watched as dozens of Titans fell every few seconds.
The million-man army that had initially marched into battle had already been reduced to fewer than eight hundred thousand.
"How's the response from that force?"
Hak asked Saifen.
"They can't provide any more Epic-Tier weapons. They can only provide Extraordinary-Tier weapons now."
Saifen paused before continuing.
"And even then, they can only provide fifteen at most."
"Looks like their stock of Epic-Tier weapons has been exhausted."
Zheff muttered from the side.
"Fifteen Epic-Tier weapons won't make much of a difference compared to thousands of White Silver-Tier weapons."
Phil said.
"We should request those instead."
"Alright."
Saifen agreed with Phil's suggestion.
.
On the other side of the battlefield, King Tahan and Pope Cronin stood side by side, gazing at the battlefield where their forces continued to clash with the Titans.
"They need to be annihilated."
Tahan's gaze remained fixed on the Titans.
"Indeed, they do. However, our combined strength isn't enough to make that a reality."
Cronin nodded.
"What about the Death Towers? Can you obtain more?"
He asked.
"You sound rather certain that we aren't the ones producing them."
Tahan glanced at him.
"We shouldn't get into that now, should we?"
Cronin smiled.
"I suppose we shouldn't."
Tahan nodded.
"To answer your question, no. We can't obtain any more Death Towers at the moment."
"That's troubling."
Cronin frowned.
"We'll have to request assistance from the neighboring kingdoms, then."
"Do you have anyone in mind?"
Tahan asked.
"The Flame Spirit Kingdom would be a good place to start. They love peace and despise war and conquest."
Cronin smiled.
"They'll surely join us in dealing with these warmongers."
"They're a good choice."
Tahan acknowledged.
.
"So you're saying the reason you can't provide us with any more Epic-Tier weapons is because you've run out of the item that can raise Extraordinary-Tier weapons to Epic-Tier, correct?"
Dai Lui asked Nikolaos.
"I've answered that question far more times than necessary."
Nikolaos sighed.
"And I'll keep asking because I still can't believe there's an item capable of increasing the rank of a tiered weapon."
Dai Lui shook his head in disbelief.
"Even I didn't believe it when I first saw it. But after learning that it was brought by the lord, I had no choice but to accept it."
Nikolaos smiled wryly.
"The lord is truly incredible!"
Dai Lui exclaimed excitedly.
Ever since arriving in the city, he had witnessed one incredible thing after another—things he probably would never have encountered in his entire life if he hadn't accepted the Supreme Will's notification.
.
After experiencing no battle for the seventh consecutive time, Abel finally understood the extent of his lord's dominance over the other competing lords.
'The two of them are truly monsters.'
He thought as he glanced at Bai Yung and Lu Chong.
They were the reason their lord could maintain such overwhelming dominance over the other lords.
Lu Chong returned to a state of comprehension immediately after exiting the battlefield. With a clear path ahead in his spear law, he continued advancing with astonishing speed.
Bai Yung was no different from the Spear Demon. Thanks to the enormous amount of insights he continued to receive during his periods of comprehension, his understanding of his laws was also advancing rapidly.
After witnessing their concentration and dedication, Abel couldn't help but grow fond of spending time around the two of them.
.
Staring at the Spike of the First Men inside his spatial ring, Zhou Zhou sank into deep thought.
He still wasn't particularly interested in having the majority of humanity's combat geniuses born within his territory.
'As far as the Human Race is concerned, even the greatest combat geniuses may only possess the potential to reach the level of a High God-Tier Divine Spirit.'
He pondered for a moment.
"Perhaps I can trade it away."
He muttered as he recalled the God of Silver Light, Sama.
"The faction he's affiliated with might be interested in obtaining it."
With that thought, Zhou Zhou immediately took action.
He teleported directly to the city's library.
