POV Rio
The physical trail quickly vanished again, but the scent trail stayed strong. I even found several traps. Punji Sticks, String Traps, and even a rusty grenade connected to a tripwire. But they couldn't be set off by me, regardless, but it did make me further believe the beast was sentient and capable of talking. I was tempted to classify the beast as a werewolf, but I thought it didn't fit well enough. Most werewolves could take on 1000 men as long as they didn't have any silver weapons. And they are also often fairly feral when transformed, which doesn't cause fleeing and dodging but brutal slaughter.
As I got closer to the source of the scent, I noticed two other scents. These new ones were quite a bit different. They smelt like... Sulfur? My eyes narrowed as I considered the possibility of demons.
'Lovely. Sigh. Let's just hope they aren't devils. I don't need to deal with those conniving foxes.'
I get within hearing distance, and I hear the main scent speak.
"We're being followed," the feminine voice says.
The two other scents freeze, and I can tell they look like lesser demons. Maybe Imps. Possibly something similar. All three get into defensive positions, and I weigh my options. Ultimately, I decide to reveal myself. They didn't seem strong enough to kill me, and if they did, then I have several life-saving skills.
"Easy there, I don't want any trouble. I was just tracking what I thought might've been a werewolf. I see that is likely not the case," I respond while slowly walking into the clearing.
"What the..." the only male says with confusion.
"Is... That a Horse Demon?" says the second female with a heavy southern accent.
The wolf sniffs the air and shakes her head.
"No, he doesn't smell like one. He smells like... Lavender?" the wolf says with confusion.
I sniff myself and find she is right.
"Huh, yeah, I do smell like lavender. I thought I smelled like Blueberries. I wonder..." I respond with a bit of surprise.
"L-Lavender? Ask him what kind of shampoo he uses," the male asks.
"Grrrrr. Shut up, Moxxie!" the wolf says with a growl.
"Don't talk to my husband like that, you b*tch!" the smaller female says.
"Can it, you old hag!" the wolf snaps back.
The smaller female pulls out her battleaxe and looks ready to kill her.
"Come on, Millie, let's not fight," Moxxie responds while soothing his wife.
"Ehem, Uh, not to interrupt, but uh, I have some questions if you are willing to trade. I have supplies, and I can offer some services. Like, I notice Moxxie over there has a missing arm. I can help with that," I offer.
The wolf narrows her eyes and refocuses on me. I can feel the suspicion she is radiating.
"Why would we trust you? And better yet, what's stopping us from just killing you to hide our location? We don't even know who you are," the wolf says with suspicion.
"Fair enough. I am Rio. Wanderer from another world. I have been contracted by this planet to assist it with its troubles. As for what's stopping you from killing me? Mostly, the fact that I don't believe you are strong enough," I say as my eyes glow and the moon moves to eclipse the sun.
All three of them look up to the sky as I fly upwards, and the moon eclipses the sun completely. Moxxie and Millie are looking at this with shaking legs as they realise they are in way over their head. The wolf is trying to look tough, but her tail is clamped fiercely between her legs. But even with that fear, she still transformed into a more beastly form and seemed to get ready for a fight.
"Brave. But we don't need to fight," I say calmly as a massive Venator-Class Star Destroyer appears over us.
It was unmanned and only hovering there, but that was all it needed to do.
"F*ck," all three of them say at once.
"So like I was saying, I mean you no harm and only wish to trade with you. As for trust. Well, the fact that I have the power here, but I don't wish to cause issues, should be enough, right?" I ask.
"O-okay, let's talk," says the wolf.
"Gladly, you see, I am not familiar with the history of this world. I can tell that it ended, but I want some more info on that if possible. My followers and I weren't able to get much from the ruins so far, so I figured any survivors would be able to tell me what happened here. In exchange for that info, you can ask me a question or ask for any materials or even technology I have, and I will give it as long as the price is right," I respond.
They look at each other, and they seem to agree.
"Fine, but let's head to our base. And can you move that ship away? It will draw too much attention. We don't want to fight with the freaks that survived so far," the wolf says.
"Very well. Commander, move the ship farther into orbit," I say into a communicator.
"Yes, sir," responds the ship's AI.
The ship leaves, and then the wolf looks at the moon.
"And uh, when will this end?" the wolf asks.
"I'll let it stay for another 5 or so minutes," I reply.
A short time later...
"Okay, hope you like vodka. It's the only booze we have," the wolf says as she opens a bar cabinet.
Their base was an old bar that someone built in the practical middle of nowhere.
"It's fine, I don't drink," I reply.
"Suit yourself," the wolf responds.
"Uh, Mr Rio, is it true what you said? Can you really heal my MoxMox's arm?" asks Millie.
"Yep, he has a few ways I can do it. I can use magic. A serum. Or cybernetics. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. If he wants his arm back and nothing else, then magic is the way to go," I reply.
"Ya hear that, Hun? You can get your arm back again!" Millies says excitedly.
"Gag. Do your lovers play somewhere else? It makes me sick," the wolf says.
"You're just jealous, Loona," Millie says.
"F*ck you, you old hag!" Loona says while flipping her off.
"So, back to my questions?" I say before they devolve into another verbal spat.
"Yeah, yeah. So the basics are this. One day, a crazy powerful thing appeared in Hell. Killed everyone it saw. It went to heaven and did the same before being banished to Earth. Humans didn't understand the thing, and when they don't understand stuff, they get scared and stupid. They attacked it, and it responded in kind. Some humans launched a Nuke, and the rest followed suit. Of course, that didn't do anything other than piss it off, so it went on a longer rampage," Loona responds.
"Wait, so this thing just killed all of Hell and Heaven? No one could stop it?" I ask with raised eyebrows.
"Yep, the damn thing even ripped Lucifer to pieces. All the lords of Hell and the Sins teamed up, and they still couldn't stop the... Doom Bringer," Loona says with paranoia as if saying its name would summon it.
"Where is it now?" I ask.
"No idea. When it came to Earth, we fled back to Hell. But it somehow got back to Hell and started killing again. We still don't even know how it was able to kill demons and angels permanently. But when it came back to Hell, we fled to Heaven. A lot of us didn't make it that far, but when we got to Heaven, it didn't take too long for that monster to get back into Heaven. We barely made it out of there with our lives. The angels seemed to have a plan, as now our connection to Hell is severed. And I have been trying to reopen a portal to anywhere, but it won't work. So we're stuck here," Loona says with a heavy sense of sorrow.
"Sorry for your loss," I reply sincerely.
"Thanks. But when we got to Earth, we found that there were human survivors. That's how the Moxxie lost his arm. We got into a scuffle with them. They would fit right in in Hell," Loona says with some anger.
"Their monsters pretendin' to be humans," Millie says with disgust and rage clear in her tone.
"How many of them?" I ask.
"1000 maybe more. Honestly, we have to run whenever we see them. With no Hell, we don't come back after we die, so we can't risk fighting them. We could kill a hundred, maybe more, but eventually we would be overwhelmed," Loona says while chugging a bottle of vodka.
"Hmm, do you know where they are located?" I ask.
"Yeah, they live out of a demolished village. They built a decent portion of it themselves. They ate the original inhabitants," Loona responds.
"Hmm, I see. Well, want to see them get annihilated?" I ask.
They all look at me with confusion.
"Of course we do, but how would we..." Loona says before looking behind me.
"I think this sounds like a job for the Justice League, don't you agree, Superman?" I say while looking behind me.
"Let us bring down the wrath of the gods upon these monsters," Wonder Woman says with conviction.
POV Gore Tooth
"Where's my lunch!" I say with anger.
"Right here, boss!" says Spicer, my chef.
I sniff and smile at the scent.
"Baby Barbecue! My favourite!" I say, while Spicer reveals a charred baby.
(AN: This is a joke about the Sims 2 Baby Mod.)
BOOM
The ground shakes as a loud explosion goes off in the distance.
"DAMN IT! WHO DID THAT! Whoever did it is on the menu now!" I yell angrily.
The door bursts open, and I see Bloody Mike panting for breath.
"Boss, we're under attack!" Bloody Mike says with fear.
"What? By who? Is it those freaks? No, they are too cowardly," I reply.
"No, it's some white chick in a bikini and a guy wearing underwear on the outside," Bloody Mike says.
"What? Are you high? Did you eat some of that clown meat? You know we only feed that to the lesser for a reason. That stuff tastes funny," I reply.
BOOOM
Another explosion goes off, and I decide to check it out myself. And what I saw was beyond anything I could have imagined. It was like Bloody Mike said, except the underwear freak was seemingly impervious to bullets. And the white chick was deflecting all the bullets with some metal bracers on her arms.
'Damn, she's hot.'
That was the last thought I had as a bullet was reflected right at me and hit me right in the forehead.
POV Rio
"So, what do you think?" I ask the three Hellspawn, gesturing towards the smoking ruins of the village.
"Humana Humana Humana Humana Humana Humana," Millie says repeatedly with shock.
Loona smacks Millie in the back of the head to stop her and looks with some fear at the Justice League. I turned out this world has DC Comics as well, so Loona was more scared about what their presence meant than their power.
"Don't worry, the world I come from doesn't have Trigon or anything like that. Or at least I hope so," I say the last part to myself.
"Can we come with you?" Moxxie asks.
I was caught off guard by that question.
"Uh... Why?" I ask.
"Well, this world is kind of empty. And I'm pretty sure this world doesn't like us here," Moxxie says.
"Why do you say it doesn't want you here?" I ask.
"It's an instinctive feeling. The world rejects us. Honestly, we would have been banished a long time ago if there were somewhere for us to be banished to. But with no Hell, we are constantly getting resistance from Earth. It sucks," Loona comments.
"Um, sure then. I can't guarantee you will have any better of a deal in the world I am currently based out of. But I suppose you should be fine. That world doesn't have a hell, and spirits can persist for decades with no issue. That and I figure this world likely wants me to get rid of you somehow," I reply.
I had no intention of getting them to follow me to the Fallout world, but from what I could tell, they were actually pretty good for Hellspawn. Morally, that is. Karma-wise, they are far better than most humans I have met, which is saying a lot, as being born a demon instantly sets you off in the negative.
After dealing with the scum bags, I felt a decently strong sense of satisfaction from the planet. Which now only leaves cleaning up the planet from all the other things. That wasn't expected to take much longer with all my advantages. And once that was done, I could hopefully finish the quest and see what the rewards are.

Author's Note:
Yes, the three Hellspawn are from Helluva Boss. I will say that what happened to them was a massive cosmic mistake. Let's just say a Doom Slayer got sent to the wrong Hell by his world's Hell that was terrified of him. I mean, Doom Slayer is strong enough to kill the creator of Hell itself and is far more broken than most realise. Honestly, there is very little that could actually stop the Doom Slayer, especially when it comes to fighting Hell. Until next time, Ciao.
