[Plamsel In Distress
Rewards:
Jewel Of Life
Exact Coordinates To Home Universe (Fallout) ]
Once the three Hellspawn entered the mirror, the rewards were issued, and I had to admit this quest was more than worth the several weeks of investment. The quest required me to eliminate all other sentient life on Earth and purify it of all pollution and radiation. The longest part was clearing out the many ruins, so they were back in order. We had basically sent Earth back into the primitive era, as there were no more civilizations on this planet. And there would likely never be more, as from what I understand, there is only this planet that has life.
Now the rewards were more than worth the hassle. The coordinates were quickly checked, and I saw that I was still a ways off, so this likely saved me several months of trial and error. At first, I was a bit confused as to what the Jewel of Life was, but when I took it out of my inventory, I instantly knew what it was.

Just holding the Jewel gave me a sense of immense life. It was at this point that I realized it came with a small book on how to use it. The first thing I confirmed was that this was by far the most valuable thing I had ever obtained. It was the Jewel of Life that was made of the Splash, Meadow, Earth, Zap, and Draco Plates of Arceus, the creator God of Pokémon. Despite the value, it was not as powerful as I would have hoped. First off, I couldn't separate the plates. It possesses immense healing, purifying, and restorative powers, but it lacks offensive capabilities, and I am unable to drain energy from it. But on the bright side, it can't break, and it can restore even the most barren and lifeless places. In other words, I could use the Jewel to restore Earth from the Lich's curse.
'I wonder if I can use the Jewel to grant eternal life?'
I read through the book and quickly confirmed that while it was technically possible, it was not very efficient. Basically, I would constantly heal someone using the Jewel to keep them alive. It wouldn't be much different than having someone hooked up to life support. Not ideal, but theoretically possible. So my choice to collect all that Life Force was still the correct move.
'Well, that just leaves finishing the stasis pods, and I can go home.'
I had been messing with various types of storage methods, but so far none worked. Cryopods were used, but the person couldn't be stored or would die and then be stored. So my current project was creating a pod in which someone is frozen in time. Or as close to that as possible. I had some practical tests done on several criminals, and when afflicted with a time stop enchantment, they would be able to be stored. Of course, they didn't survive more than a few seconds after being taken out, as most people can't handle such immense power. But with some work, I could go around that issue. Like making a box that does all the work.
Some may wonder why I am going through all this trouble when all anyone has to do is walk through the mirror. Or I could leave everyone here. The answer is simple. Once I connect to the mirror back in the Fallout Universe, I will have a very short window in which I can use the mirror before it collapses in on itself. I am basically forcing a shattered mirror to reconstruct itself from this side. Stability is not guaranteed, and it will not be able to hold for long. And as for leaving behind everyone, that is not an option, as I promised to take Henry and Charlotte back with me. That and the many summons are too good to leave here. And I can't come back to this Universe. Once I leave the channel I used to get here will be forever shattered and unusable. So I have one chance to get this right, and I intend to make the most of it.
One Month Later...
'That should do it. All 200 tests were successful. Which is good, as I am out of test subjects.'
I stop what I am doing as I get a notification from a guard.
POV Henry Emily
I was sleeping peacefully when I was started awake by Charlotte coming into my room in fear.
"DAAAAD!" Charlotte screams.
"Huh, what? Charlotte, what's happened?" I say with confusion.
"I just had a bad dream," Charlotte says with fear.
"Aww, sweetie. Just lie down and tell me all about it," I reply with a relaxed tone.
"W-well, I know it's absurd b-but I dreamed the boogeyman was after me, and he's..." Charlotte says, but I interrupt with a fearful yell.
"AHHH! Boogeyman! You nail the windows shut! I'll get the gun!" I say while scrambling out of bed and towards the other residents of the house.
I run to the room where I know Rio usually sleeps. I reach the door, burst in, and run towards the bed, and see a lump that I assume is Rio.
"Rio, I don't want to alarm you, but there may be a boogeyman or boogeymen in the house!" I say with fear clear in my tone.
"AHHHH!" A strangely feminine voice is heard, and I don't question it before running to the emergency gun cabinet.
Several Hours Later...
POV Rio
"Sigh. Can you repeat that?" I ask the Changeling in charge of Henry.
"Uh, Dr Emily has barricaded himself in his room with a shotgun and refuses to come out until you come and help them. They think that there are 'boogeymen' in the house," reports the guard.
"Sigh. I'll be right there," I reply and make my way out of the lab and into the place I call my house.
When I walk inside, I see several bullet impacts and shotgun pellets. I reach Henry's room, and I slowly open the door while announcing that I am coming in.
"What in the world happened? Why was I called to come here?" I ask.
"Oh, nothing much, just a case of the boogeyman!" Henry says with fear.
"The Boogeyman?" I ask with confusion clear in my tone.
"Yeah, the boogeyman!" Charlotte chimes in.
"Sigh. There is no boogeyman," I say with some exhaustion.
"Oh yeah! How are you so sure? A serial killer came back as a robot lich, and ghosts are real, so why is the boogeyman so far-fetched?" Henry replies firmly.
I raise my hand, but after some thought, I give up and decide to go with it.
"Fine. You got me there. Will you feel better if I check the house for you?" I ask.
They both quickly nod. I roll my eyes, and we start searching the house for the boogeyman or, as Henry helpfully added, boogeymen. We go room to room, and as I reach the next one, I open it and see Batman standing there. I look at him, and he looks at me, and I stand there for a second before closing the door.
"Something wrong?" Henry asks.
"Nope," I reply.
We move on to the next room and find nothing. That was until we opened my room and found my bed was missing. Now that would normally be impossible, but my bed wasn't a normal bed. It was a cloud bed made of real clouds. With enchanted blankets. The blankets were missing, and the cloud was gone.
"Huh, that's odd," I state.
"What? Oh, did you put your blankets in the wash after I woke you up?" Henry asked.
"Woke me up? I was at the lab all night," I reply.
"Wait, but then who was... The boogeyman! He must have stolen your blankets!" Henry exclaimed as if he had just solved some great mystery.
"Or for the love of... There is no boogeyman! There never has been a boogeyman! I have found literally no evidence of a boogeyman!" I say with annoyance.
We argue for a minute before I finally manage to convince them I will keep them safe tonight by keeping watch. As for the so-called boogeyman, it was just a nightmare and not real. I even double-checked using magic. I have no idea who took my blankets or why Batman was here, but the second one was easy to find out. He was testing his infiltration skills. It seemed we did a really good job of recreating Batman's personality so he always tried to improve himself.
Speaking of Batman, we had created a full 7 heroes for the Justice League. I was confident they could handle things once I left this world. The members were Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Black Canary, Green Arrow, and Dr Fate. Honestly, I was very satisfied with our work on them. Each one was painstakingly recreated using the most advanced robotics. The one I was most proud of was Dr Fate. Making a magic-using robot was a really hard challenge. Also, programming it with all of the magic I knew was also a really tough job. But it was needed as Wonder Woman couldn't be the only magic expert. I made each of the members very similar to their originals but with tweaks here and there. Like, Dr. Fate is drastically different. Nabu is not a nice person, so his personality was thrown out.
The night passed uneventfully, and the next day we started getting the last pieces in place to return home. The Changelings and Griffons were very excited to meet the others. The stasis pods were tested more extensively and were confirmed to work as intended. After that, I collected the last supplies, and we started putting people in stasis.
As we were doing this, I was approached by several people asking to come with. Some were expected, like Giffany, whom I reluctantly accepted only because I was afraid of what she would do while I was gone. I did not want to test her abilities against the Justice League when I was not present, so she had to come with me. The next was a complete shock. It was the three Hellspawn.
"It's either this or joining the Justice League, and I don't feel like running around in tights," Loona says with a casual tone.
"And we want to go to your world as we think the safest place to raise a kid would be wherever you are," Moxxie says while holding Millie's hand.
"Hmm, I guess I don't mind. But you do realize how dangerous my world is, right?" I ask.
"Yeah, same as ours, but with the threat of an ancient existence that wants all life to cease. We read the book," Loona says while filing her nails.
"Well, as long as you understand the risks, then welcome aboard," I say while assigning them each a stasis pod.
I also made sure to check that Millie wasn't pregnant, as I couldn't determine what kind of effects that would have, but thankfully, she wasn't. Once that was settled, I only had a few others interested. Mostly scientists or the occasional family looking for a new start.
In total, I had spent about 7 years in the FNAF Universe, and I was more than ready to go home. I was leaving with 256 Griffons, 369 Changelings, 3 Hellspawn, 1 sentient AI, 19 Scientists, 315 normal humans, 160k ground Droids of various models, and 50k Droid Tri-fighters. Not to mention more than enough materials to restart humanity. I had the materials to also build plenty more ships. As soon as I get back, I will deal with two of our spaceborne enemies.
Once I got confirmation that everyone was accounted for, I powered up the mirror, and once the connection was stable enough, I jumped in. As soon as I got back to the other side, I ran out of the lab and took cover as the mirror that had been forcibly repaired fell apart and collapsed in on itself. The effect was quite scary. The mirror created a miniature singularity and started to collapse space around it until it eventually popped out of existence.
CRAAAACK
Space repaired itself, but a large portion of the lab was erased from existence. Even the usual indestructibility couldn't prevent the damage from space literally breaking at the seams and shattering like a mirror.
'At least the entire vault wasn't destroyed. It probably would have if I had added anymore power than I did.'
I look at the damage and decide that it's future me's problem. I was exhausted and still had a lot to do. I just wanted to relax and talk with my friends.
