"It is my time now," I murmured, staring at the beautiful blonde in the mirror that was me.
My sister had her time in the spotlight when she had impressed everyone with her knowledge of the pack's constitution and managed to save her neck. Now it was my turn to be the centre of attention.
In a few short hours, I really would be once Emma was out of the way for good.
"Come in," I called out when there was a knock on my door.
Sharon entered, closely followed by the guard I had chosen to help me carry out my plan.
"Well?" I said, turning in my seat to face them.
The guard crossed the room, kept a respectful distance and bowed.
"It is done, Ve—Luna." he answered.
I released a breath I wasn't aware I had been holding, then let out a low chuckle.
Somehow, even though my plan was foolproof, a part of me had been expecting to hear that Emma had somehow managed to wriggle out of my trap yet again.
