Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: The Second Breath of the Paradox

Time stopped.

Literally.

The divine glyphs froze in the air.

The swords stopped mid-fall.

Korrin blinked.

"Who—what—"

Then he saw her.

Liss.

Floating off the ground.

Silver-black aura blooming like starfire soaked in shadow.

She spoke.

And her voice overwrote the gods' command.

"No."

The swords shattered.

The glyphs blinked out.

Reality... bent.

"You don't erase me," she said to the sky.

"I was never in your script."

Across the divine halls, twelve gods staggered in pain.

One bled ink.

Another screamed as their name flickered from scripture.

"She spoke. And we felt it," one whispered.

"She isn't resisting us. She's replacing us."
