Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Day I Became Deku

"Wake up, Deku…"

What… is that voice?

I slowly open my eyes. My head feels heavy, my heart pounding violently. I lift my head and look around.

This isn't my room.

A classroom?

Desks. A blackboard. Students staring at me.

"Where am I?" The words escape my mouth louder than I intended.

Laughter.

I turn toward the mirror fixed to the side of the room—and I see a reflection I don't recognize.

Green hair. A face covered in freckles. A frail body.

Damn it…

Am I Midoriya Izuku? From My Hero Academia?

Slap!

"Oh? Finally awake, Quirkless?"

I turn my head and see him. That arrogant face. Blond hair. Eyes burning with rage.

Bakugo.

Everyone is laughing. Even those with Quirks. Because they all know the rule:

The one at the bottom takes the humiliation.

I don't want this.

I don't want any of this.

All I want is to go back… but back to where?

Suddenly, the teacher enters the room.

"Enough, you two. Go back to your seats."

The bell saved me—temporarily.

I return to my seat, feeling Bakugo's gaze burning into my back. Sparks crackle from his hands, as if I had killed one of his parents.

After school… I need to find a solution.

But how?

No memories. No Quirk. No trained body.

Ring.

The bell.

I grab my books and run.

"Wait, you damn Quirkless!"

I run… but this body is trash.

My breath runs out quickly.

A hand grabs me from behind.

Bakugo. And his lackeys.

Behind the school.

"This is a lesson for you."

The punches rain down.

The pain is real.

What did I do to deserve this? Why am I here?

After they leave, I struggle to my feet. Blood drips from my nose.

I wipe it away and let out a bitter laugh.

"I'll go home…"

But where is this body's home?
