"It's important for them to get that mine back running. It's plenty of money lost if they don't, so that's the only reason why the Guild is putting so much effort into cleaning up that place."

Melia said with a wry smile.

She knew of many abandoned towns and villages, which were attacked by either Rav'akari, bandits, or wild monsters.

They weren't rebuilt because it would cost more than they were worth, and the only reason why Dark Jewel's Corner was being rebuilt was because of that mine.

That mine had enough ores to be hacked for another thirty years before it was completely depleted.

When that mine becomes depleted, the Dark Jewel's Corner would most likely die as well, as most households there rely on the money coming from the mines.

"I have something to do back in Whitesky. It was nice seeing you, my lord, but see you on Sunday~"
