Riley had just taken the taxi in front of the school gate. She quickly opened the door in a rush telling the driver the address she was going to. In the car Riley crossed her arm below her chest while clenching her fist. She gritted her teeth. Her mind fixed on how she would teach her cousin a lesson for what she did.
"Zoey, I'm really going to teach you a lesson." She muttered to herself.
Next, she stretched a bit forward telling the driver to hurry and continue to tap her legs in the car.
The traffic has drastically reduced, and the road is now free, so it is much easier for cars to move freely.
20minutes later, the taxi made a stop in front of a large beige colored apartment building of five stories. It has a parking lot at the front of the building.
Riley paid the driver in a hurry scanning the code on her phone.
"Thank you." She said to the driver as she bowed and closed the door.
She strode into the building, standing in front of the elevator waiting for it to arrive.
In few seconds the elevator opened, she waited for the people inside to go out before going in. She pressed the button for the third floor.
Riley couldn't stop bitting her lower lip while her arms remained under her chest. She didn't even bother about the people in the elevator with her.
Immediately the elevator stopped and opened, Riley came out in a fast pace as her breathing became heavy. She walked to the entrance of their door, she continued to glare while clenching her fist.
She input the security passcode to the house. Immediately she opened the door, she was greeted by the sight of a slim figured lady sitting on the couch with a glass of orange juice and mobile phone in her hands.
The lady is so engrossed to her phone that she didn't notice when Riley got to her front while glaring at her with her arms crossed.
Riley scoffed while glaring at the lady in disbelief.
As the lady tried to cross her legs on the center table, she raised her eyes from her phone and noticed there was someone standing in front of her.
"Why don't you join me, huh?" The lady uttered as a smug smile appeared on her face while offering the juice to Riley.
Riley then immediately grabbed the glass of juice from her hand and poured it on her head.
"Riley! what are you doing?" The lady flared up at once while screaming as the juice washed her from head to toe.
"Is it fun? Huh? Did you enjoy the show?" Riley scolded while glaring directly at her eyes.
"Oh, is it about that?" Zoey moved closer to her and whispered to her hear.
"Did you sleep well?" Zoey Perlman laughed out loud while clapping her hands.
Riley thought she heard wrong as her face turned pale.
"What! Wh…What do you mean?" Riley stuttered while staring at Zoey.
"You…. didn't know? Let's say I only helped you to sleep peacefully that's all, Isn't that nice?" Zoey blurted again laughing out loud.
Riley realizing what she meant, gritted her teeth as her brows furrowed.
Without wasting time, she landed a hot slap on Zoey's cheek who was still laughing.
"You…." Zoey glared.
"What? Does it hurt?" She asked while glaring back at Zoey Perlman.
As Zoey tried to return the slap with her hand raised in the air, a voice from the other direction stopped their actions.
"Stop! What are you two trying to do?" The woman's loud voice stopped their actions.
"Mom?" "Aunt Mia?" They both called staring at her.
"What are you trying to do?" Mia Perlman walked up to them with her brows raised as she closed the doors to her room.
She has been eavesdropping on their conversation for a while. What pushed her to come outside was the sound of the slap she heard.
She strode towards Zoey her daughter, gritting her teeth, and positioned herself between Riley and her daughter. Separating the space between them, she held her daughter's hand by her side.
Ready to protect her daughter, she glared directly at Riley raising her eyebrows.
"Huh? Tell me. What did she do? How dare you lay your hands on my daughter?" Aunt Mia scolded.
Mia Perlman's words stirred up a smug smile on Bai Xue's face as she scoffed.
"Aunt Mia, your daughter right here, deleted the file intended for my final project. She drugged me to sleep deeply." Riley pointing towards Zoey as her face scrunched up while glaring at Mia.
"Due to whatever stupid act your daughter played on me, I have to do two…."
Mia Perlman landed a hot slap on Riley's cheek. "Don't you dare speak of my daughter like that." She scolded.
Riley held her cheek as her eyes widened in shock. "Aunt Mia?" She muttered.
"This is incredibly good." Riley rolled her eyes and nodded. "Talk about a perfect act…." Riley scoffed.
Mia Perlman continued to glare at Riley while holding her daughter's hand by her side.
"You know Aunt Mia, since my mother is a nice person to accept you both, I'll persuade her to consider treating you both of your mental illnesses. What do you think?" Riley smiled and turned to leave.
"You… Are you out of your senses? Riley! Come back here!" Mia screamed.
Her words were ignored because Riley already left the house slamming the door very hard.
"This girl must be really out of her mind?" Mia screamed as she watched Riley stomped off.
"And you, why is your hair so wet?" Mia asked as her brows furrowed.
"Same with your body, why are your clothes wet?" She touched her daughter's clothes as her eyes widened. Mia didn't know about the orange juice that was poured on her daughter before she heard the slap from her room. Next, Zoey hit her mother's hand away from her shoulders.
"Mom, can you please just let me be for once? Why won't you mind your business?" Zoey frowned while stomping off to her room. The next seconds, she slammed the door of her room.
"Y…yo…you…!" Mia stuttered at her daughter's actions.
