This ultimate move, inherited from the Devil Muscle Man, was now wielded by Bai Mo. Swinging the Nargacuga in circles, he turned it into a whirlwind of destruction, smashing through boulders and trees alike as the creature's body served as a wrecking ball.
After a full minute of spinning, the once-ferocious Nargacuga was now covered in wounds, its head dizzy and its arms broken from the impacts.
Seeing the Nargacuga on the verge of death, Bai Mo tossed it onto the ground.
"So~ still want to keep fighting?"
"Roar!" Though the Nargacuga let out a growl, its voice was weak and lacking strength.
Thanks to his ability to "Listen to the Voice of All Things," Bai Mo could understand the creature's meaning.
"Tsk tsk~ so stubborn. Fine, I won't eat you, but you'll have to become my mount. How about it?"
"What... is a mount?"
"It means you'll be my subordinate," Bai Mo explained. "I remember your kind has leaders, right? Like a king?"
"You... want to be my king?"
"Why not?" Bai Mo summoned a spear made of Geo energy. "I'll give you a choice. Submit to me, and you'll gain greater strength and the right to live. Or choose death—your flesh will become my nourishment."
Faced with Bai Mo's spear and threat, the Nargacuga ultimately lowered its head in submission.
As his first tamed companion in this world, Bai Mo treated it with due respect. Using electric propulsion to stimulate the Nargacuga's cells and accelerate its healing, he then fed it a large amount of meat purchased from Teyvat.
After bonding over food, Bai Mo asked the Nargacuga if it knew of other humans on this continent.

From a low hill, he spotted traces of civilization in the direction the Nargacuga had mentioned.
Bai Mo breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, the Research Commission had already arrived in the New World—he hadn't been transported to some ancient era. Otherwise, he'd have been stuck living a primitive life for who knows how long.
As for how to approach the Research Commission, Bai Mo had already drafted several plans.
Now that he knew the direction, he and the Nargacuga swiftly made their way toward Astera.

Dozens of hunters rushed out from the base, positioning themselves on nearby hills and surrounding Bai Mo and the Nargacuga.
Seeing the hunters aiming their bows at him, Bai Mo wanted to explain, only to realize he couldn't understand their shouts.
Of course—in this real world, they spoke the Hunter's language.
But this wasn't a problem for Bai Mo.
Using his "Listen to the Voice of All Things" ability to calm the Nargacuga, he also communicated telepathically with the burly man who appeared to be the leader.

Under the watchful eyes of the hunters, Bai Mo shattered several Tranq Bombs near the Nargacuga's head.
The potent anesthetic gas quickly put the creature into a deep sleep.
Once the Nargacuga was sedated, the burly man lowered his bow and waved for a few hunters to secure the beast with chains onto a wooden cart. With that, he relaxed slightly.
He approached Bai Mo and spoke at length: "What's your name? Earlier, our hunters saw something red falling from the sky, seemingly attacked by a Bazelgeuse. Was that you?"
"That was indeed me," Bai Mo nodded, raising his hands to show he was unarmed. "As you can see, I come from another world. I arrived here by chance."
"I have the ability to communicate with creatures, which is how I tamed this Nargacuga and can speak with you all without barriers."
"That's an incredible ability!" The burly man thumped his chest armor. "I'm Jasper, the leader of the Astera Research Team. Welcome to the New World!"
"However, before anything else, I'll need to take you to meet our Commander. As a visitor from another world, it's his decision on how to proceed with you."
"Then please, lead the way."
