Chapter 2 - No Deja vu

Damien stared at the screen for a long moment.

'It worked…' he thought, his heart thumping within his chest. 'It really worked.'

His thumb hovered over the screen, but he didn't swipe it away.

'No way… this is real.' he blinked in disbelief, then read through the message once more, as if expecting them to change. 'It's not a loop. This… this is new.'

His breath hitched slightly, and he looked up from the phone, eyes wide with excitement.

There was something different.

His chest trembled slightly.

'There's no déjà vu…' He swallowed. 'There's no déjà vu!'

His lips slowly curled up into a wide grin, and he let out a dry laugh.

He tilted his head back and stared at the bright sky above.

"You think I'm the one cheating, Andy?" he mumbled, chuckling under his breath. "You should ask your mom about that instead."

His phone buzzed again, but he didn't look at it. He didn't need to.

He already knew who it was.

Ever since he'd met her some time back, he'd always had his eyes on her. On Andy's mother.

She was in her early forties, yet she still looked like a woman in her prime.

Her skin was smooth and caramel, her face mature and beautiful in a way that younger girls just couldn't match.

But what truly drove him crazy… was her body.

Big, round breasts that seemed to fight against any blouse she wore.

A slim waist that curved into wide hips.

And her ass—large, round, and supple—jiggled with every step she took, like it had a mind of its own.

'A perfect MILF…' Damien thought to himself, licking his lips. 'The perfect MILF…'

She was exactly what he loved and craved. Not just a fake actress in a video, but a real, breathing, mature MILF.

And now—he was going to get her.

A week ago, he'd decided to try his luck.

He had met her after a PTA meeting, and finally got the chance to talk to her privately.

They'd chatted.

He made her laugh.

She gave him her number.

And just like that—it started.

What began with greetings became daily texts.

From that, it shifted to flirty messages.

And then?

Late-night sex-texting.

She had told him she was lonely.

That her husband was always abroad due to his business, and most times, he wouldn't even visit home for months.

She said it wasn't wrong to want a little attention, and he had gladly given it to her.

Night after night, they talked, and it didn't take long before she began sending him photos.

He told her what he wanted to do to her.

They made plans.

And now—tonight—it was finally happening.

His lips curled wider.

'I don't feel déjà vu… tonight's the night for sure.' he thought, heart thumping in his chest. 'I'm going to claim my first MILF.'

He didn't even try to hide his smile anymore.

For the first time in his life, he was feeling something course through his veins other than just boredom.

It was the same thing he felt whenever they chatted also.

Excitement, anticipation, emotions he had forgotten even existed all his life. All of them coursed through his veins, and before he knew it, his rod slowly stirred within his pants.

He stepped out of the alley and onto the road, still staring at his phone screen.

Then—

A blinding flash of light suddenly came from the side, and his eyes widened in shock.

"Eh—?" Damien blinked, suddenly aware of the noise. The roaring sound of something heavy rushing forward.

His eyes shot wide, and he quickly tore his gaze away from his phone screen.

However, it was already too late.

A massive truck was speeding toward him from the left side of the road, and before he could even react—

BANG!!!

His body was struck like a ragdoll.

He felt his feet leave the ground, pain exploding in every nerve of his body.

His phone flew out of his hand and shattered on the asphalt.

Blood sprayed into the air as his ribs cracked and his spine twisted.

He was airborne for a second, before crashing hard to the ground.

"Urgh…" he choked out, blood spraying out of his mouth.

He tried to stand back up, however, he found himself unable to move.

His vision was blurry also, and all he could hear were weird, warped voices crying out around him.

The pain was unbearable… yet numbing at the same time.

His eyes stared blankly at the sky above, his mind trying to process what just happened.

'This… wasn't suppose to happen…' he mumbled inwardly, his thoughts slowly fading away. 'I wasn't supposed to die… not yet… not now.'

However, there was nothing he could do as darkness soon clouded his vision, and his body went still.

*

A faint groan escaped Damien's lips as he stirred.

His body felt strangely light, like he was merely a nylon floating in the wind.

His head ached faintly, and his thoughts were sluggish.

"…Urgh…" he grunted, clutching his head as he slowly sat up.

However, all he could see in his surroundings was pitch black.

He blinked, but nothing changed.

'What… kind of place is this?' he thought, his brows furrowing slightly.

Since he couldn't see anyway, he simply remained where he was, afraid that something could happen if he tried standing up.

'Could this be… heaven?' he thought, his face squeezing into a frown. 'Nah, its more like hell.'

A tired sigh left his lips, and he wiped his forehead, only to realize there wasn't even a drop of sweat there.

'Damn… I really died, huh.' he thought, his shoulders sagging in disappointment.

'I mean, my last thoughts were about seducing a married woman. I was literally planning to bang Andy's mom…' he mumbled inwardly, letting out a dry chuckle. 'Yeah, i'm definitely not heaven material.'

And on top of that, he didn't believe in any god, religion or even karma.

Well, he did at a point, but when he saw they couldn't help but the boredom in his heart, he completely gave up on them.

But now… here he was.

In a place that definitely wasn't nothing.

Suddenly, a calm void reverberated across the void.

"Welcome to the afterlife… Damien."
