Before them was a young lady. Her green hair was unruly packed and she wore a sleeveless cloth with trousers.
Xero's mother had stabbed her in the stomach. She was bleeding evidently and it would only be by a simple grace that she would survive.
"What the heck was that for?!!'' Xero barked at his mother. His mother didn't respond. She quickly grabbed the lady and dragged her into the room.
"Quick. Clean up the blood and shut the door." she demanded. Xero stared at her in shock. He tightened his fists in anger.
"You haven't answered my question." he stated. His mother turned to look at him as her eyes sparked with precision.
"Are you damn crazy? Clean up the blood and shut the door. We could be punished severely for this." she stated and returned back to the lady.
The lady did not seem to tall but her eyes were open. She seemed to be thrown into shock at the sudden attack from Xero's mother.
"You mean you could be punished. I had no hand in all these. Really you have to explain why you went around stabbing up like a crazy psycho. You are not damn stupid are you." Xero said sharply.
His mother turned sharply to look at him. He had never uttered such words at her and it did piss her off. She stood up instantly and slapped him hard on the face.
"You dare not talk yo your mother thar way! Where are your manners?! Besides we both would be punished for my sin. The Super Military is looking for a way to cut population while saving it."
She closed the door and crouched below . Her hands slid under the bed and she got out a first aid box. She opened it and got out a cotton wool and methylated spirit.
"I'm so sorry." she mumbled to herself as she applied the methylated spirit other wool to dab on her open wound.
"Ahhh!" the lady screamed in pain as the cotton wool came in contact with her open wound. She clutched the bed tightly but Xero's mum was not fixed on her expression. She wanted to save her life and cover for her mistakes.
Xero still stood, rooted to the spot. He stared at his mother. She had just slapped him. Something she had never done before. She had slapped him over her own crime?
He stared at the door and suddenly he heard voiced echo. His mother turned sharply to look at him. He sprung forward and slammed the door shut.
"Damn hell!!!'' he exclaimed as he noticed that he was standing in the pool of the lady's blood.
"Just shut up and clean the mess." He stared around and grabbed a mop stick. He walked over to a little bucket that still held some water.
"Not sure this water would be enough." he muttered. His mother sighed lightly.
She completed her first aid and walked over to him. She grabbed the bucket and began to clean up the mess.

Outside the Safe Zone was a swarm of demons, flocking in like sheperdless sheep. They swarm over the city. Their dreaded figures flooded the streets.
Lucky enough the Super Military had arrived on time. No casualty had occurred as they safely announced the arrival of the demons.
"Let's screw their butts." a grey haired man said as he chuckled lightly. He held a dark revolver that shone it dark energy.
He shot from a far range. The bullet shot forward, taking an extreme momentum thar caused it burn in dark flames. The bullet shot at two demons in extreme speed, knocking them down in flames.
He was Henry. To be specific, he was Captain Henry, leader of the Super Military Section 32.4 . He was a B class officer with extreme good knowledge and weapons.
He waved his guns over his fingers and rushed forward, shooting sporadically at the demons. The bullets caused them to burn with dark flames. His weapon was known as Gun Of Flames.
He tilted his gun round and in a simple movement, he shot four demons with a single shot causing them to wither in flames instantly.
"These gates have been poor ever since. Can't understand why so but we have to continue pushing forward." a light skinned man with dark glasses. He had green hair and was relatively tall.
"Stop thinking about that you mother fucker!! Just have your kill. We have to clear this gate as fast as possible. I've got some damn cookies I am baking, Kelvin." Henry yelled at the top of his voice.
"You got to be kidding me! You mean out cookies in the oven!?'' Kelvin exclaimed in shock anda bit of anger.
He dived forward and from the mid air, a gaintachine gun formed out. It had a dark signature on it signifying it was a dark weapon.
He pulled the trigger but oy the sound of the engine roared in the air. No bullets just deafening sound of thick engine echoing I the air.
The demons moved towards him as they got attracted by the loud deafening sound. But soon they began to burst. Their bodies bursted apart suddenly and green fluid began to spill and rain from their bodies.
"Raaaah!!!'' he exclaimed as he started the engine once again.
Both Captain Henry and Commander Kelvin were old friends that seemed to be obsessed with oven baked cookies as they were with killing demons.
It was kind of funny to see these men wrestle for cookies but in the end it seemed to be induced by the apocalypse. A great famine had swept into the world as no one could plant and produce food.
Slowly the era of technology was relating back to the primitive years only that science was kept as new weapons were discovered.
The Super Military had already gone more than, taking down the demons. These demons were E rank demons and as such even the inhabitants of the Safe Zone could kill them with their Dark Weapons.
Henry stopped at his last kill and watched the last demon being sliced by a soldier. He smirked widely.
"I guess we are done with this gate. Such an easy one!!!'' Kelvin exclaimed in shock.
"And hey don't you dare leave our cookies in the oven while we are clearing a gate. That is too risky. You could burn the only food."
Henry smiled lightly. He then walked past him and moved to his men.
"Anyone hurt?!'' he exclaimed and some soldiers brought some wounded soldiers forward to him. He stared at them.
"Take them to the Medical Zone." He ordered simply and they left immediately.
"AAHHH!!!'' a deep cry echoed in. Everyone turned sharply to stare at the direction of the cry.
A deadly looking creature stood before them. Its deadly teeth grinned sharply at them as it was bloodied. Hie glare was deadly and sharp. Before them was an Arch Demon.
