Those who are familiar with Majin Buu couldn't help but feel uneasy. Many of them hoped this mission could be reassigned.
It's not that they wanted to bully Majin Buu—far from it.
The truth is, they were genuinely worried that he might mess everything up.
You see, going on a thug mission isn't just about showing up and causing a ruckus. The job must satisfy the employer, and good reviews are crucial. Even if the mission isn't rated five stars, at the very least, it must be completed professionally.
And Majin Buu? Well… he's not exactly known for being predictable or reliable.
The concern was real: if Buu screwed up, he wouldn't be the only one punished. The rest of the team might also suffer consequences and financial losses.
Of course, warriors from Universe 6—like Champa and his companions—weren't familiar with Majin Buu's reputation.
However, seeing so many people worried and eager to redo the mission made them suspicious enough to consider it seriously.
Champa scratched his head.
"Although I don't know what the deal is with this Majin Buu," he said, "if everyone wants to redo the mission, it probably means he's going to mess it up."
Champa nodded firmly. "Alright then, I support reassigning the mission!"
Piccolo interjected, "If Satan were going with him, we wouldn't be this worried. Satan can calm him down."
Krillin agreed. "Exactly. The issue is that Satan isn't here. He's doing this alone."
"Without Satan to keep him in check," Krillin added, "there's no telling what that guy might do."
Jack stepped forward, raising his hand. "I understand you're all genuinely concerned about Buu's behavior," he said calmly. "But like Goku mentioned, if I let you redo the mission just because of your doubts, wouldn't that be unfair to Buu?"
He looked around at everyone.
"If it were you in Buu's position, would you be okay with that?"
Beerus frowned. "But Jack-sama, it's Buu we're talking about…"
"I get it, Beerus," Jack said. "But you don't need to worry too much."
He continued, "You've seen it before. Buu clearly wanted to give Satan the reward after completing the task. No one asked him to—he did it on his own."
"Buu might be unpredictable and strange, but when it comes to anything involving Satan, he becomes extremely serious."
Krillin's eyes widened. "Now that you say it… that's actually true."
Piccolo nodded in agreement. "Yeah, usually Buu acts like nothing matters to him. But once it involves Satan, it's like flipping a switch."
Goku smiled. "So, if he's doing this for Satan, maybe he can pull it off."
Tien added thoughtfully, "Exactly. If Buu wants to give the reward to Satan, he'll probably take the mission seriously. He might even cooperate fully with the employer just to make Satan proud."
Master Roshi raised an eyebrow. "That's all just speculation, though. We still don't know if he'll follow through."
Android 18 crossed her arms. "You guys are being unfair. He already accepted the mission. You're assuming he'll fail before he even starts. Isn't that a bit much?"
Android 17 chimed in. "I agree. I've never seen Majin Buu in action, but if he can go from being an enemy to a partner, he must have some redeeming qualities."
He looked around at the group.
"Trying to take this mission away from him now feels kind of selfish."
Krillin sighed. "Seventeenth, that's not what we meant. We're just really worried…"
Piccolo nodded. "But Jack's point is valid. If it's for Satan, I think Buu will manage just fine."
Beerus crossed his arms. "I don't know if the rest of you are being selfish or not. But I'm not. Champa, on the other hand—he's definitely being shady."
"Hey!" Champa snapped. "Watch your mouth, Beerus! Don't make accusations without proof, or I'll sue you for defamation!"
Jack raised his hand to quiet the argument.
"Alright, enough. Since no one has any serious objections now, Buu will proceed with the mission."
He turned to Buu.
"@Majin Buu—remember, this mission is for Satan. So you can't lose your temper, and you absolutely must not anger the employer."
Majin Buu raised a hand and nodded. "Okay! Got it."
Piccolo added, "Buu, just imagine the employer is Satan. Do whatever they ask you to do—treat their request as if it came from him."
"Understood," Buu said. Then he looked toward Jack.
"@Group leader Jack—thank you for standing up for me."
Although Majin Buu rarely cared about anyone besides Mr. Satan, that didn't mean he was ignorant.
He knew full well that the reason he got to keep the mission was because of Jack.
And surprisingly, he wasn't even angry that so many people didn't trust him or wanted to reassign the mission.
It wasn't because he had amazing self-control.
But as long as it didn't involve Satan directly—like insulting him or hurting him—Buu usually didn't get worked up.
Unless, of course, someone tried to steal his food.
That was the one other unforgivable offense.
So, without resentment, Majin Buu opened the portal as instructed and stepped through to begin his mission.

Meanwhile, in the Reunion World—
The Captain had just finished speaking with Jack and returned to the battlefield.
He couldn't afford to place all his hope in some mysterious stranger, no matter how powerful they were.
Waiting for help to arrive wasn't an option.
Every second wasted meant the possibility of another innocent life being taken.
After driving back another wave of enemies, the Captain was panting heavily.
Even with the super-soldier serum coursing through his veins, his stamina had its limits.
Sure, he was far stronger than the average person, but he still couldn't compare to beings like Thor or the Hulk.
He didn't stop to rest. He couldn't.
If he paused for even a moment, someone might get attacked—or worse.
And then, just as he was about to charge into another fight, a swirling portal suddenly opened beside him.
His instincts kicked in immediately. The Captain took a defensive stance, ready to strike.
He'd seen portals like that before—used by the alien invaders from Zeta Rising.
He feared more enemy reinforcements were coming.
But instead of soldiers or monsters, a pink, chubby figure emerged.
The Captain blinked in confusion.
A strange being with a tentacle-like appendage on his head and a wide grin stood before him.
It was Majin Buu.
In the Captain's eyes, this newcomer was clearly an alien. But he looked nothing like the enemies who had been attacking Earth.
