"Someone asked me to ask you... why do you think that men's nutrients aren't as good as women's?"
Krillin's message flashed across Caulifla's communicator. She had also seen the bizarre thread of discussions floating around recently — and as a fellow fighter from the ragtag alliance of warriors, she naturally lent her voice to their ongoing investigations.
But more than anything else, she was curious.
Why did the man in front of her — Tong Mo — only consume women and not men?
Caulifla's sharp gaze pierced through Tong Mo, her stance aggressive and unafraid.
Tong Mo, taken aback by her question, stood frozen for a moment. In all his years as a demon, no one had ever asked him that before. It was almost amusing.
"You're an interesting woman," Tong Mo said slowly, a strange smile creeping across his face. "You're the first to ever ask me that. Fine, I'll indulge you. You see... because women can nurture life, carry fetuses, they naturally possess more nutrients than men."
"So that's what you believe?" Caulifla scoffed, crossing her arms.
She finally understood just how warped this guy's worldview was.
On the group chat:
Beek: "@Krillin, well, there you have it. If you don't agree with him, better grow a womb."
Krillin: "What kind of nonsense is that? This guy is out of his mind! He's a lunatic!"
Krillin: "@Caulifla, put this guy through hell. Show him that neither men nor women are his food!"
Caulifla: "@Krillin, you didn't even have to say it. I was already planning on it."
Just hearing Tong Mo's explanation left a sour taste in Caulifla's mouth.
Without another word, she took a step forward — her body crackling with restrained power.
"You think you're some kind of savior?" she sneered. "Trying to 'redeem' people by eating them?"
Tong Mo smiled again, a fanatic glint in his eyes. "You too... you are worthy of redemption. After I purify your soul, you'll live forever with me in bliss."
"I'll redeem your head," Caulifla snapped, fury exploding from her voice.
With that, she slammed her foot into the wooden floor — and in an instant, the entire structure trembled. The wooden house they were standing in groaned under the force, then collapsed into splinters.
But Caulifla had already moved.
In the blink of an eye, she closed the distance between them. Tong Mo barely had time to register what happened.
Though he was an Upper-Rank Two Demon with immense strength and regeneration, in front of Caulifla, his power meant nothing. She hadn't even transformed into a Super Saiyan yet — and already, her base strength far surpassed him.
Caulifla reached out and grabbed Tong Mo by the neck with one hand, lifting him like a rag doll. Then, with a loud slam, she smashed him into the ground.
The impact cratered the earth beneath them.
She had held back just enough to keep him alive — barely.
Tong Mo shrieked in pain, coughing up a fountain of blood. His body felt like it was crumbling. He had never been handled like this before. Even during battles with the Hashira, he had always remained dominant.
But this girl...
This girl was different.
Nearby, Butterfly Kanae blinked in disbelief. She hadn't even fully registered what had happened.
"I thought you wanted to redeem me?" Caulifla mocked, her voice echoing as she pressed her foot down on Tong Mo's chest.
Tong Mo groaned beneath her, unable to muster any resistance. His breathing was labored, and blood continued to ooze from his mouth.
Cracks formed around his body, spiderwebbing outwards on the ground beneath him.
Kanae stared wide-eyed.
"So strong..." she murmured.
She had seen Caulifla arrive — but she had missed the attack itself. Now, seeing Tong Mo writhing on the ground beneath the stranger's foot, she finally grasped just how powerful Caulifla really was.
A single kick had accomplished what all of Kanae's strength and training had failed to do.
Suddenly, Kanae's expression changed. Her eyes narrowed in alarm.
"Look out!" she shouted. "He's about to spit blood at you — it's poisonous!"
She remembered it all too clearly. The last time she managed to wound Tong Mo, he retaliated by splattering her with his toxic blood. The contact alone had severely weakened her, draining her strength over time.
And now, Tong Mo was trying the same trick.
Caulifla's eyes locked on Tong Mo's face, noticing the swelling in his cheeks. A red glint shimmered in his throat.
Sure enough, he spat — a powerful arc of blood shot through the air, heading straight for her.
He smirked.
She wouldn't be able to dodge in time. No one could.
No matter how strong she was physically, if she got hit by his blood, the poison would slowly corrode her from within. His victory didn't lie in brute strength, but in tactics — in corruption.
But Tong Mo's smug grin faded the moment he saw it.
Caulifla was gone.
The space where she had stood was now empty.
Vanished?
The blood splattered harmlessly onto the ground, sizzling against the dirt. Tong Mo's eyes widened in confusion.
Then, a voice rang behind him.
"Poisonous blood, huh? You were trying to ambush me?"
He turned just in time to see Caulifla standing above him again — completely untouched.
"Don't get cocky," she said coldly. "You think you can beat me with such cheap tricks? Don't insult me."
Then, she began to stomp on him — once, twice, over and over again.
Each stomp was light — for her. But for Tong Mo, each step felt like a mountain crushing down on his ribs, shattering bone after bone. He could barely scream anymore — just gurgle in agony.
Caulifla's eyes were cold and merciless.
"You like hurting women, huh?" Stomp.
"You think you're some holy redeemer?" Stomp.
"You want to make me your eternal companion?" Stomp.
Tong Mo convulsed under her assault, his limbs twitching erratically.
If not for his insane demonic regeneration, he'd have been a corpse already. But even regeneration had its limits — and Caulifla was pushing those limits hard.
Watching from the side, Kanae was stunned. She had fought this demon with everything she had — and still nearly died. Yet this stranger from another universe made it look effortless.
Caulifla grabbed Tong Mo by the collar and lifted him again.
"You like blood so much, huh? How about your own?"
With a final punch, she sent him crashing into a tree several meters away. The trunk split in half with the impact.
Tong Mo slumped forward, wheezing. His face was barely recognizable.
He tried to stand up — tried to muster some of the insane resilience that had kept him alive for over a century.
But his legs buckled beneath him.
He looked up at Caulifla, unable to comprehend how he had been so thoroughly overpowered.
"I don't... understand... How... did you dodge my blood?" he whispered, blood leaking from the corners of his mouth.
Caulifla tilted her head and smirked.
"You're not the only one with instincts," she said. "And unlike you, I actually train."
Tong Mo stared at her, eyes wide with disbelief.
This was more than defeat — it was utter domination. And for the first time in his demonic existence, Tong Mo felt something stir in his dead heart.
Confusion.
Doubt.
Fear.
Caulifla walked up to him one last time, her steps slow and deliberate.
"You preyed on innocent women for too long," she said. "But don't worry — I'm not going to kill you just yet."
She knelt beside him and whispered into his ear.
"I want you to remember this feeling. The feeling of being helpless. Crushed. Powerless. That's the only thing I'm giving you."
Then she stood, turned, and walked away.
Tong Mo lay in the dirt, broken in both body and spirit.
Behind her, Kanae called out.
"Wait! Who... who are you?"
Caulifla paused and looked over her shoulder.
"I'm Caulifla. Saiyan from Universe 6."
Kanae's eyes widened.
She didn't know what that meant — but somehow, she felt a strange sense of hope ignite in her chest.
Caulifla glanced back at Tong Mo one last time.
"And next time, don't pick a fight with girls. You might not survive it."
