Chapter 125 - Chapter 124: Caulifla — "You Said I Can’t Kill You?"

It wasn't just Tong Mo who was stunned by Caulifla's actions.

Even Butterfly Kanae, who had been watching from the side, was utterly confused.

She had been watching Caulifla carefully, worried for her safety. But despite keeping her full attention on the girl, Kanae still hadn't seen how she escaped Tong Mo's poisonous blood attack.

All she saw was Caulifla vanish in place—gone in the blink of an eye—and then reappear as if nothing had happened. No motion. No trace.

Not a single wasted movement.

Of course, neither she nor Tong Mo could be blamed.

Caulifla's speed was simply far beyond their capacity to perceive. Even though she had been holding back this entire time, what she had revealed—just the tip of the iceberg—was still unimaginable to them.

Not to mention, Kanae had tried to warn her about the blood. But in truth, even if she hadn't spoken up, Caulifla would never have been hit.

Even if Tong Mo had spat blood ten times faster, it wouldn't have made a difference.

The power gap was that immense.

That said, if Butterfly Kanae hadn't warned her, would Caulifla have bothered to dodge? Would she have let herself get splashed, just to see what happened?

No one knew.

And now, no one ever would.

Because Caulifla had no intention of letting even a drop of that blood touch her body—not now, and not ever.

---

"You... you can't kill me," Tong Mo gasped hoarsely, glaring up at Caulifla.

Even though he was lying broken and bleeding on the ground, he managed to smirk. "You think you've won? You can beat me up all you like, girl... but you can't kill me."

As a demon—one of the Upper Moons, no less—Tong Mo had been given incredible vitality. His regenerative abilities were absurd. Unless one used sunlight or overwhelmed him with a devastating attack beyond his body's ability to recover, he was functionally immortal.

Caulifla had beaten him down, yes.

But in Tong Mo's eyes, she'd used up her full strength already. If she could have killed him, she would have done it by now.

He could even feel it—his injuries, though severe, were already beginning to slowly heal.

Bit by bit.

From his perspective, Caulifla had done all she could.

But from Butterfly Kanae's point of view?

Caulifla hadn't even started getting serious yet.

---

Tong Mo might have considered that. He might have sensed that Caulifla was holding back.

But he refused to believe it.

He couldn't.

Because if this was just her playing around—if she wasn't even trying—then her true strength would be monstrous. Unfathomable.

Possibly even beyond Muzan Kibutsuji, the Demon King himself.

And that kind of power... simply shouldn't exist in this world.

Even Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the legendary Demon Slayer who nearly destroyed Muzan centuries ago, didn't radiate the raw destructive might Caulifla displayed casually.

And she wasn't even using a weapon. Not a sword. Not a beam. Not a single technique.

Just her bare hands.

---

"You said I can't kill you?" Caulifla repeated, raising an eyebrow and glancing down at Tong Mo.

She genuinely looked confused.

What gave him that idea?

Caulifla didn't know about qi. She couldn't sense energy the way Goku or Krillin could. So, she hadn't noticed that Tong Mo's vitality was already starting to regenerate.

But even if she had—she wouldn't have cared.

From behind her, Kanae's worried voice called out.

"This demon—he's one of the Twelve Kizuki. The Upper Moon Two. His vitality is far beyond normal! To kill him, you need sunlight... or an attack that completely overwhelms his regeneration!"

Caulifla shrugged as Kanae continued anxiously, "No matter how badly he looks now, he will recover if we wait too long."

"The sun is almost up!" Kanae added urgently. "Just restrain him—hold him here! Once the sunlight hits, he'll disintegrate on his own!"

---

Tong Mo's face froze.

His smug grin vanished.

Oh no.

He had completely forgotten.

It was almost dawn.

If Caulifla didn't kill him, the sun would.

He had assumed she couldn't finish him off—and maybe she couldn't. But all she had to do was keep him pinned down, and the sunlight would do the rest.

He cursed under his breath. "Damn it all...!"

---

Tenshinhan: "Yo, anyone else think now's the perfect time for a Solar Flare? Hit him with a Sun Fist and watch him burn!"

Goku: "He said he can't be killed? What, is he immortal or something?"

Vegeta: "Immortal? He melts in the sun. That's the worst kind of immortality. Didn't that Jack guy say his vitality was just high—not infinite?"

Krillin: "Exactly. He's like Majin Buu, but without the actual indestructibility."

Tenshinhan: "Let's be real. Comparing this guy to Buu is an insult to Buu. Tong Mo's just a second-rate regen tank."

Krillin: "Right. He's not even a low-budget Buu. Just has a fancy healing factor."

Gabe: "Then how do we deal with something like this? Doesn't it mean he's practically unkillable?"

Krillin: "Nah, it's actually simple. You just hit him with something strong enough to exceed his regeneration."

Goku: "Yeah! When I killed Kid Buu, I used the Spirit Bomb to wipe out every last cell."

Krillin: "It's hard for weaker fighters, but for Caulifla? Easy. She just needs to stop holding back."

Gabe: "@Krillin Thanks for the tip!"

Gabe: "@Caulifla, Mr. Krillin says as long as your attack exceeds his recovery, he'll die for real!"

Caulifla: "Tch. I know that already."

---

Caulifla's cold gaze focused on Tong Mo once more. His face was filled with dread now—not from her, but from Kanae's reminder.

The sunlight terrified him.

He realized his time was running out.

Caulifla smirked.

"So... you said I can't kill you, huh?"

Her voice was calm—too calm.

"I wonder... what it feels like to be killed by someone you thought was just food."

She reached down and grabbed Tong Mo by the face, lifting him off the ground with one hand.

His legs dangled limply, and he stared at her in disbelief.

This girl—this thing—wasn't supposed to exist.

Someone who could crush demons without breathing hard.

Someone who treated him like a joke.

She wasn't just powerful.

She was terrifying.

---

"Do you know what your problem is?" Caulifla asked quietly. "You believe too much in your own nonsense. Immortal body? Unkillable? Healing factor? That's nothing."

She grinned, baring her teeth.

"I'm going to give you something you can't recover from."

Her hand began to glow faintly.

A crackling heat started to rise in the air around her palm.

It wasn't ki. It wasn't energy she understood.

It was raw physical power.

The muscles in her arm tensed, her veins bulged, and Tong Mo could feel her power rising for the first time.

He started to panic.

"Wait—"

But it was too late.

---

With a sharp roar, Caulifla swung him downward and slammed him into the ground again, harder than ever before. The earth split beneath them, forming a crater that spread out in all directions.

The shockwave alone knocked Kanae back several feet.

And Tong Mo?

He didn't even scream this time.

He just coughed, blood flying out of his mouth in a mist.

His body had begun to break down.

"Your regeneration won't help you here," Caulifla said. "Because I'm not going to stop until there's nothing left to regenerate."

She began to walk forward.

Each step was slow.

Deliberate.

Heavy.

And with every step, Tong Mo tried to crawl backward.

But he couldn't move.

His legs were shattered. His arms were mangled. His spine was cracked.

All he could do was watch as Caulifla approached.

---

Butterfly Kanae, still wide-eyed, whispered, "She's not human…"

Caulifla raised her fist.

"Any last words?"

Tong Mo's lips trembled.

He had no words.

Only terror.

Only regret.

Caulifla smiled.

"Didn't think so."

---

She brought her fist down.

A single thud echoed in the silent forest.

Then, silence.

The wind rustled the leaves.

The birds began to sing again—faintly, as the first hints of sunlight crept across the horizon.

And in the crater, there was nothing left of Tong Mo but dust.
