Chapter 12 - 12- Change of Plans

"You want me to what?"

"Take me to your grandpa," I said casually, chewing on an apple slice. "The alive one, obviously."

Tsunade blinked. "You mean… Grandpa Tobirama?"

"Yeah."

She narrowed her eyes. "Why?"

"Because I've created a few jutsus. A-rank level. I plan to register them, maybe get some credits and acknowledgement. Even a few top-tier jutsus in exchange if I'm lucky."

She stared at me like I'd just declared myself the next Sage of Six Paths."You're telling me… you want Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage, to believe you—a first-year Academy student—made multiple A-rank jutsu… on your own?"

"…Yes."

"Wait, is this about that Rasendan you were talking about?"

"Well… somewhat. It is one of them anyway."

She didn't say anything for a moment. Just squinted at me. Then bit into her fruit again and mumbled something I couldn't hear.

"…What was that?"

She swallowed and looked me dead in the eye. "Fine. I'll do it."

"Oh." I blinked. "That was eas—"

"But only if you take me out."

"…Take you where?"

"A date."

"…Sorry, what?"

"A date, Inaba. A proper one. You're always so serious all the time, and even if we are always together, you never ask me out.

Half the people in our class are already dating, and you're dumb enough that I think if it were left to you, it would take over a decade before we start dating.

So, I'm taking the initiative instead. We're going out. You'll buy me food, walk around the market, pretend to have fun, all that stuff. Only then I'll take you to Grandpa."

"Aren't we too young to date?"

"Are you stupid? I just said half the people in our class are already dating."

"Yeah, but we can still wait a while…"

"Shut up. We are already dating. If you spout any more nonsense, I'm going to beat you up… and… I will never talk to you again."

"…We are dating now? Don't I get a say in that?!"

"Yes, we are, and no, you don't. I've already decided. You're mine."

"What the hell…" Urgent question: the loli is forcing herself on me, what should I do?

Tsunade smirked and said, "You want to meet Grandpa Tobirama, I want a date. Fair trade."

I sighed, then nodded. "How is that a fair trade? Ughh... fine. But no holding hands."

"No promises," she said, grinning.

And so, the most awkward date of my life began... well, not like I had been to many in the first place, but still…

She dragged me to a dango shop, tried three different types of mochi, proceeded to feed me the same, and asked me to comment on the texture like she was the one who made it…

Then she forced me to take part in one of those stall games to win her a hairpin she happened to like.

The game was definitely rigged because I lost twice before enhancing my brain and figuring out the exact torque needed to knock the damn thing over.

"It's beautiful," she said when I gave her the prize.

"Let me help you put that on…" It wasn't intentional, but yes, I did study about how to date in my past life, so yes, I knew some tricks…

And as I did help her, the blush on her face indicated that it did indeed work.

Eventually, after we'd wasted enough time to qualify it as a legitimate "date," she finally took me toward the Hokage's office.

Sure, I could have come here alone, but a normal Academy student showing up and the Hokage's granddaughter bringing someone along with her—both would receive very different treatment.Besides, I had enough social anxiety to ensure I could not pull this off by myself, and needed a friend to accompany me, which, again, leads me to Tsunade…

The place wasn't fancy. Not like I expected gold walls or anything, but there was a sharpness to it. Clean. Structured. Not a single pebble out of place.

We stood outside his office. Because obviously, no one came to ask Tsunade why she was here.

"You nervous?" Tsunade asked.

"No."

"…Liar."

She knocked twice and slid the door open.

There he was—Tobirama Senju.

White hair like carved snow. Sharp red eyes like they'd dissected a thousand Uchihas. The man had his own aura. That specific racist rizz.

He looked up from his desk.

"Tsunade. And…?"

"Inaba Shinkurou," I said, stepping forward and giving a polite bow. "Thank you for meeting me, Lord Hokage."

"So, what are you kids here for?" Tobirama nodded at me and asked

"Lord Hokage, I'd like to show you something."

Tobirama leaned back, fingers interlocked. "Mito mentioned you. Said you were interesting. Tsunade speaks of you often too. Maybe you'll be my future grandson-in-law," he said, his face morphing into a smile from his previous serious expression.

"Yes, he would! We just started dating!" Tsunade said jovially.

I glanced at her, giving the most blank stare I ever have… sigh, never trusting her again, if I remain alive until then, that is…

Alright, can't let the conversation go astray—I started talking without waiting for his reply."I've created several A-rank level jutsu!" I shouted. "I'd like to demonstrate them."That came out more flustered than it should have…

Tobirama raised an eyebrow. "You're barely ten. Both of you… too young to be dating or creating jutsu."

"Ughh... sorry about the dating part… But I really have created A-rank jutsus…"

"You really believe you've created multiple A-rank jutsu?"

"Yes."

He stared at me for a solid ten seconds. Then stood.

"Follow me."

The training ground behind the Hokage Faces was old but well-maintained. Worn logs. Scorch marks everywhere.

Tobirama stood with his arms behind his back. "Show me."

I nodded and walked a few steps forward.

"First, Rasengan." I gathered chakra, slow and clean. The ball formed in my palm, spinning without so much as a flicker of instability.

My organ enhancement had increased my chakra enough to create at least one Rasengan with ease.

I slammed the Rasengan onto a tree and a hole appeared, shearing off a part of the trunk, making it fall.

"Second, Rasendan."I raised two fingers like a gun, and a small ball appeared on top of them, then pointed toward a boulder. The Rasendan shot off, and a clean hole appeared in the boulder.

Tobirama's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Lastly," I said, turning to a shadow clone I had prepared earlier. "Lucid Horror."The clone nodded and stood in position.

I clapped my hands, letting my chakra thread out like a net, slipping gently into the clone's system. It hit.

The clone twitched. Froze. Then slowly, its face twisted—eyes wide, breathing shallow. It dropped to its knees, trembling violently.

Tobirama said nothing.

After a minute, I cancelled the jutsu.

The clone poofed.

I swayed a little as the shared memories hit me, but I didn't show it. Not this time.I turned back to Tobirama.

He was silent. But there was something new in his gaze.

"…That Genjutsu," he finally said, voice measured. "What is it?"

"An evolved form of Hell Viewing. Instead of just showing a fear, it builds a cascading illusion of memories and scenarios that lead the target toward their greatest fear. They either face it… or stay trapped."

Tobirama nodded slowly.

"And chakra usage?"

"Minimal. The target's own mind does most of the work. I just lay the path."He was quiet again. Then, after what felt like an eternity:

"Your chakra control is absurd. I can see how these were made possible. I underestimated you."

"…Thanks?"

"Tsunade just said that you wanted credits, acknowledgement, and jutsu?"

"…Yes."

"I have something better in mind."

He stepped forward.

"I will train you. As my student. From this day forward."

Holyyy shiiittt… This was beyond expectations. Yeah, sure, I wanted to become like Hiruzen's student… but Tobirama? Well, this easily went beyond all my expectations.

"Besides, if you and Tsunade are dating, then I have to make sure to train you well to become worthy of her," Tobirama said, patting my shoulder.

Alright, suddenly training under him doesn't seem like the best idea…

But still, I nodded. "…Thank you, Lord Second."

Tsunade grinned from the sidelines. "Told you he'd be impressed."

Tobirama looked at her. "You helped him?"

She shrugged. "Mostly just fed him and sparred. Oh, and taught him the basics too."

"…Even so. Good one."

She smirked. "I know."

And just like that, I got myself a girlfriend? And a new teacher.
