A month had passed since Adrian told her about his mother. In that time, Bianca and Adrian had grown closer. Bianca became more certain about her feelings for him—the man had completely melted her heart. Over the past month, she noticed so many changes in him, and it made her glad she had chosen to open her heart to him.
Bianca was at the mall when she passed by a bakery. Out of nowhere, the smell of freshly baked bread made her feel sick. She quickly covered her mouth and hurried away. Lately, she hadn't been feeling well. She often felt nauseous and dizzy. And every time she smelled something strong, the nausea always came back.
She rushed to the restroom. While she was throwing up, a middle-aged woman looked at her kindly and asked, "First trimester?"
"Huh? Sorry?" Bianca asked, confused.
Before she could ask more, the woman's phone rang. She answered it right away and walked off, leaving Bianca hanging.
