~~SAMANTHA~~
Finally I could breathe. I stood up from the table as he left. I watched his car leave the mansion. I was so scared of him I didn't want to be around him for a bit.
I was still shocked seeing how he reacted after I attacked him with a table knife.
I didn't expect him to handle it like that. I thought he would hit me, but he didn't. 'What exactly does he want?' I thought.
"Maybe his principle doesn't hurt women," I mumbled to myself, then I remembered my gentleman Marco.
"He must be devastated right now," I muttered as tears filled my eyeballs. Even though I almost backed out on our wedding day, I still loved him.
He was the only man I knew since we were young. "I don't want to be here." I started crying again, but I stopped, remembering my father was meeting with Luca soon.
I know he would do anything to take me out. I'm his only child, after all. He has promised not to leave me on my own since my mother died.
'I will believe in you, Dad,' I mulled in my head, knowing he won't leave me with that monster.
A knock at the door jolted me from my thoughts.
"Come in." I said slowly, ready for defense, but I calmed down as I saw the lady.
She was dressed in a uniform, not too long, neat, and organized; I could tell that she was a maid. "Hello, ma'am." She bowed carefully.
'She is different,' I thought, remembering how the first lady I had met treated me. She was rather scared and didn't dare to make eye contact with me. "Ma'am?" I mumbled.
"I shouldn't be saying this because I will be out of here soon, but you can call me Samantha."
"I can't, ma'am." She shook her head in fear.
"What?"
"You are Don's guest; I don't dare go disrespect you." She bowed again.
'Guest? I was dragged here… How dare he call himself human after doing that?' I scoffed inwardly.
"Oh," I nodded. "I will help you change your clothes now, ma'am," she offered, but I didn't want to.
I felt uncomfortable getting help from a stranger, and I didn't want to change my dress in his place so people wouldn't get the wrong idea if I went out.
"I won't wear that… let me be." I dismissed her as I impatiently waited for that monster to release me.
"Ma'am, but—" She tried to persuade me, but I dismissed her without thinking twice.
The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground. The slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky.
The sky was ablaze with the fire of the setting sun. The night sky was aglow with bright city lights.
'What is taking him so long?' I thought as the night began to unfold, but after some time a car zoomed into the mansion; knowing who it was, I stood up waiting for him to open the door.
As expected, his figure appeared before me. "Don't tell me you are that excited to see me?" He asked, taking off his shirt as his icy gaze was fixed on me.
"Where's my father? Why am I still here?" Samantha rushed towards him angrily.
"Your father? Oh… he won't be coming for you anytime soon," Luca said, stepping closer, his shirt undone.
"What are you talking about?" I demanded. "My dad would never leave me with a lunatic like you!"
He smirked. "He already did. You're mine now, Samantha. And if you want your father safe, you'll learn how to serve me well."
My heart sank. Serve him? I staggered back, bumping into the wall.
"I own you," he said, voice low and terrifyingly calm. He stepped into my space, his breath brushing my neck. I stiffened. My pulse was a roar in my ears. This couldn't be happening. Not like this.
