Athilda's pov
"Hey, Jacquez, you're the guy here. Watch over Athilda, alright?" said Doctor Anna Kaye, looking at Nurse Jacques who was already annoyed by all the noise around us.
It was our second day in Marawi. We had been assigned to assist soldiers who were helping civilians evacuate from remote villages far from the town proper. Our job was to provide basic medical aid, treat wounds, illnesses, anything that needed urgent attention.
"You have said that a hundred times already. Athilda is safe when she's with me," Jacques muttered, irritated.
"How can we not repeat it when you're always joking around?" Nurse Sati added, poking him, which made Jacques even more annoyed.
"Fine! As long as Athilda behaves, we'll be okay. You should be telling her, not me," he said, annoyed, making the others gasp a little.
"Athilda, behave yourself. Do not do anything that would embarrass you," Eria warned with a pout.
