Chapter 6 - Chapter 7 The dream

That night, Natasha had a very long and scary dream.

In the dream, she received a call from Kenny asking her to meet somewhere so that they could have dinner together.

She quickly prepared herself, changed into a new dress that Kenny had bought for her, then flagged a cab at the roadside.

Throughout the journey, Natasha had a weird feeling, a feeling she could not describe.

The car came to a halt outside a very big restaurant. "We are here, madam," the cab driver said.

She paid the driver, and when she took out her phone to call Kenny so that she could ask him which room he was in, she heard someone's voice.

"Hello, madam, are you Natasha? Kenny has sent me to take you to the room where he is waiting for you."

She didn't ask any questions, and after thanking him, she followed him towards the restaurant without suspecting anything.

She was used to Kenny sending someone to pick her up so that they could meet for dinner, so she thought that everything was right.

The man who was sent to pick her up led her to a room which was located on the highest floor of the building.

The man pushed the door open and then ushered her in.

The moment she got inside the room, the man closed the door, and that's when Natasha started having a feeling that something was not right.

Looking around, she saw several men sitting on a sofa sipping wine.

She felt afraid, "I am sorry, I think I got into the wrong room," she quickly apologized as she turned to go towards the door.

One of the men wearing a mask laughed out loud.

"Young girl, you are not in the wrong room," he said.

Natasha looked around, but she could not see Kenny.

"Where is Kenny? He told me that he is waiting for me here," she said.

The man in a mask made a signal, and two men opened another door and pulled someone outside that room.

Natasha looked in that direction and she saw Kenny in a state that one could not even recognize him.

His whole body and face were covered with blood.

"Kenny," she shouted as she ran towards him.

Before she could reach him, one of the men pulled her and threw her to the floor.

She felt pain all over her body, but she could not shed a single tear.

"Let him go, please, do not harm him, don't do anything to him, please," Natasha cried out, begging the man to let Kenny go.

The men on the sofa looked at each other and laughed mockingly.

"It seems the love between them is too strong," one of the men said sarcastically. He paused, then continued," Do you see how beautiful she is? I really want to eat her now," the man said.

"Don't do anything to her, don't involve her in anything here," Kenny shouted as she struggled to stand up.

With tears in her eyes, Natasha dropped the bag in her hand and ran towards him, but before he could touch Kenny, she was pulled back by one of the men.

"Leave me alone, you can't harm him," Natasha continued, struggling to get free from the men's hands.

Kenny, who was in a dire state on the floor, struggled and dragged his body towards Natasha, and this time round, the men didn't stop him. With his bloody hands, he pulled her into his embrace, " I love you, Tasha," he whispered in her ear.

As soon as he finished saying those words, a loud bang was heard in the room, and Kenny fell down.

"Kenny!!!!" Natasha screamed.

Turning around, she saw one of them holding a gun and pointing it at her. That's when she realized that Kenny had been shot.

She closed her eyes, and she could feel anger rising in her hand, not knowing where the energy came from. With one swift shift, she jumped up and snatched the gun from the man's hand.

Shot....shot.....shot....shot...shot....

She aimed the gun at those men and killed one after another.

She then dropped the gun on the floor.

"Kenny!!!" she shouted and sat on the bed. The dream was real and she couldn't understand what it meant. Who were those men who were trying to harm Kenny?

It was true that they were already divorced, and there was nothing between them so far.

But the dream was so scary, what if it turns out to be true?

Forget about it, there would never be a circumstance where Kenny would ask her to meet him.

Despite trying to convince herself otherwise, Natasha still felt that something was off.

Something funny was that she couldn't recall any of those men's faces. Their physical appearances had vanished from her head completely.

Natasha felt her body shaking; she was afraid of everything.

She just recalled how she killed those men in her dream. How did she do it? Natasha never held a gun in her hands, she didn't know how to use one.

How did she manage to shoot those men so accurately? She even started doubting herself.

She really wanted to forget everything about Kenny, who harmed her, but what had something bad happened to him? As Natasha was deep in thought, she had instincts that something big was about to happen to Kenny.

Would she call him and ask him if he was okay? No, he must be out there spending time with his lovely woman, Sophia.

With that thought, she placed the mobile phone back on the bed. He chose Sophia over her. He had used her blood to treat Sophia without her consent, he had harmed her, and he had caused her too much pain.

She felt bitter; she didn't want to cry over him again. It was not worth it to shed tears over a man who didn't love her, a man who accused her father of an offence he didn't commit,a man who threw her out of his house.

Kenny was the man she had loved wholeheartedly, but what did she get in return?

She got used, and finally divorced. That was the price she had to pay for loving him so much.
