Chapter 62 - Chapter 62 Another Day.

Alastor Moody exited Amelia's office with far more complicated thoughts than he had before. He never imagined Amelia would take steps toward the revolution of the wizarding world.

But at the same time, he knew that Amelia was not the head of this plan that was being made. He was able to easily infer that from the conversation they had just moments ago.

'It can't be the Dark Lord, or anyone related to them. Those bastards wouldn't even touch a Muggle product with a mile-long stick.' He then paused as an even scarier thought came to his head. 'It can't be him, right? Even though he was not as bad as the Voldecunt, he still hated those without any magic and wanted to remove them completely from the planet during the world war.'

Moody's steps became quicker as his thoughts became faster and faster, calculating every single angle.

'No, that can't be right either. This plan was made by someone who had contact with both the wizarding and Muggle worlds in an intimate manner. Neither of those fits the category. It can only fit a person who is Muggle-born. But even then, to convince Amelia to go with a plan that will turn the wizarding world and tradition upside down… there are only a few I can imagine, and none of them are as smart.'

By that time, Moody had reached his office.

"Tonks, make sure no one enters my room until I say so. If any idiot insists, make sure to hex them. I'll handle the aftermath," he ordered as he entered.

Tonks raised an eyebrow at that, as she knew he wouldn't give such orders unless something important was going to happen soon. And with the recent disappearances of the house-elves, she felt like something bad was going to happen.

"There goes my vacation plan," she muttered in a depressed tone, as she knew the coming times were going to be more chaotic than usual.

Inside the room, Moody started opening secret drawers that he had enchanted to keep everyone out. The combination and codes to each drawer were different, and just putting in a wrong combination once would destroy every single drawer and their contents within a matter of seconds.

Plus, it also included an explosion that would have crippled everyone in the vicinity.

As Moody opened all the drawers, pages filled with pictures and information began to fill the entire room. They began to arrange themselves as strings appeared to connect them with each other. This was one of the things he had learned while inspecting the Muggle community for the rise of new weapons. He saw the investigative department using similar methods to solve cases, so he adopted it himself.

Right now, he was looking at the list to find out which industrial communities in the wizarding world would be most affected by this revolution and who all were connected to that particular industry.

The wizarding world's pure-blood politics were more complicated than one might imagine. Every family was connected to one another in one way or another. At least in the last century, all families had married into each other. Though most of the alliances got completely broken down in the war with Voldemort, some of them had increased their communication and cooperation with each other throughout the years.

'From what I can see, almost all the other industries other than those based on potions will face a lot of changes. Even the medical field might have a few changes when it comes to human anatomy and the human mind,' Moody thought as he began making plans for alliances in the future.

Back in Hogwarts.

The exams were currently going on at Hogwarts for all the students. And this time, the attack of the Basilisk did not happen, because of which the exams were not cancelled at all. And unlike the other students, Auden had to face a much bigger ordeal due to his intelligence.

Unlike the other students who had exams based on the curriculum each year, Auden had to complete a question from each subject. But each of those questions was complicated enough that he could write an entire paper on each of them.

The teachers had smiles on their faces as they each gave him their questions, which he was supposed to complete within a day.

He wanted to complain, but the problem was that he knew they had no other choice. After all the things they had taught him and he had learned, making him write a standard exam was kind of an insult to all the work he had done throughout the year.

So he completed all the questions and finished the work within the allotted time very easily. He was allowed to use self-writing quills that wrote with respect to what he wanted to write, so he was able to complete the entire work easily without wasting time writing with his own hand.

And the highly curious and proud expressions they had while checking his paper told him all about how the results were for him.

He then later met his friends, who finished their own exams.

"Man, it was easier than I thought. Thanks for the tutoring, Auden," Klaus commented, while Mark nodded along as well. Both of them had asked him to join them for a combined study session, and Auden had used his system and what he had gotten from Hermione at Christmas to compile a set of notes that were focused on the questions most likely to appear on the exams.

They had a much easier time due to it as well.

Auden tried to give a copy to Luna as well, but she declined it, saying it was fun to have surprises in the exams. Auden decided to respect it.

And when the results came the following week, Auden unsurprisingly got first place while Luna got second. Auden was able to hear the Ravenclaw girls muttering about it, but he decided to ignore it, as he knew Luna was more than strong enough to handle it herself. He had no idea what she had been doing while disappearing sometimes, but she had grown stronger; his instincts told him that clearly.

And just as he was returning to his room to pack his bags, an owl appeared with a letter, telling him about a meeting with Amelia soon.

A/N – Hope you liked it.
