Silence detonated through the room.
Daisy's breath trembled. Donato's words were sharp, unmerciful—still hung in the air like a blade dripping truth.
"Daisy is the lady who had a hidden son for me."
Luca's mouth dropped open.
Alessia froze like someone unplugged her soul.
Alessia staggered back so hard she hit the wall behind her.
Her eyes widened, shimmering, torn between betrayal and disbelief.
"Daisy…" she whispered with her voice cracking. "Tell me he's lying."
Daisy's lips parted,no sound came out.
Donato's hand tightened around her waist, steadying her, anchoring her when her knees threatened to give out.
"He's not lying," Daisy finally breathed.
Alessia's gasp was almost a sob.
Romeo dragged a hand through his hair, muttering in disbelief. "Daisy, how….when and why the hell didn't you come to me with this?!"
Daisy didn't look away from Donato.
"We did have a child together ....Years ago."
