A few days later,
GIldarts's Lacrima transplant was successful so Nicolas finally left while waiting for Gildarts to familiarize himself with his newfound powers.
Nicolas's current destination was Galuna Island.
But unfortunately for him, he didn't want to board a boat to go there so he had to fly there by himself with a map and compass.
'Ugh. This is supposed to be a magical world. Why don't they have something like a magical compass or even an eternal pose for each destination?'
After several hours of scouting, Nicolas finally arrived to the island.
After landing, he noticed the demon's village not far away but seeing the big "no entry" sign at the front, he ignored it and left for the temple.
After walking around for a while, he finally found the temple.
As he arrived in front of the temple, he saw two people standing in front of the temple.
When he saw the two, his memory came back after seeing one with a dog face and the other one short with thick eyebrows. He finally remembered who the two were.
'Isn't it those guys from Lamia Scale. I don't know their names though.'
Nicolas approached them without hiding since he just planned to check out if Deliora was already here and if he could find Ultear here.
The two of them of them finally noticed Nicolas so the dog-faced Toby said:
"Hey,Buddy. You shouldn't be here." Accompanied by the thick eyebrowed Yuka nodding alongside him.
"Ah.Sorry about that. I'm just here to find Sub-zero emperor,was it? and see Deliora's seal. I don't intend on interfering with you guys."
Nicolas really didn't intend to interfere because by the time they were done removing Iced Shell, Deliora would already be long dead.
The two of them hesitated but Lyon's voice resounded from afar and said to let Nicolas through.
The two of them listened and guided him to Lyon.
As they arrived, Nicolas saw Lyon wearing a mask and a cape accompanied by Sherry brandy and a giant rat. Lyon then said:
"What business do you have with me?" while radiating his magic power a little.
Nicolas responded: "Nothing much, I just came here to see Deliora's seal and to ask if you guys knew about a person named Zalty or something like that."
"Oh, have you come to witness me kill Deliora? As for Zalty, he is currently not here right now."
"Well, you'll need at least two years of the moon drip ritual before you'll be able to unseal him so I'll pass on that. Can you guide me to his seal though?"
Lyon didn't object since he saw that Nicolas already knew about the moon drip ritual and guided him to Deliora's seal.
As they were heading there, Lyon finally remembered something and finally asked:
"By the way, what's your name and why do you want to meet Zalty?"
"Oh, right. My name's Nicolas Picaro. The reason why I want to meet him is to recruit him. I want to recruit you too but I think you won't leave here until you've dealt with Deliora, right."
Yuka who was following along suddenly interjected: "Reitei-sama, This guy is an S-rank mage from Fairy Tail. He's the Fairy tyrant."
Lyon hearing that, radiated his magic power again and asked with caution what Nicolas wanted.
Nicolas just calmly said: "Don't worry, I have no interest in someone else's prey. My goal in coming here is Zalty. Seeking Deliora is just a curiosity on my part."
Lyon lowered his guard slightly but not completely and they finally arrived in place where Deliora was.
As Nicolas looked at Deliora, he saw that he still radiated some Magic power.
'Oh, so Deliora was still fine at this period of time. Judging by the power he's radiating, I'd say he's around Master Makarov's level.
I guess Ul was around the strength of the lower ranks of Ten wizard saint since she didn't die directly and was able to seal him.
I can without a doubt beat him in the extreme case that the seal doesn't kill him. And since it's still at least two years from now on, maybe I'll even become strong enough to mow through him.'
He touched the Ice for a while.
'Oh, she's using her soul to slowly drain away his lifeforce. Although, that means that I can't forcibly extract her soul from the Ice until the it's dissolved and Deliora dies.'
"Not bad." Nicolas said then turned to Lyon and said "Deliora is very strong so I suggest you train hard because you won't be able to him as you are now."
Lyon scoffed hearing Nicolas's word and said: "What do you know about my strength? I'm more than capable to deal with Deliora"
Nicolas just sighs and says: "I know everything about you, Lyon Bastia. I know that you're doing this to surpass your teacher Ur but Deliora is stronger than most S-rank creatures I've fought. As you are now, I don't think you can even win against Gray."
Nicolas genuinely thought that Gray was stronger than Lyon now because Gray was part of Nicolas's hellish training routine. All the people trained by Nicolas except Wendy, Rogue and Sting since they were still kids now all had powers equaling S-rank mages from other guilds. the only reason why Nicolas didn't allow them to take the S-rank exam was because they weren't mature enough for missions that involved their lives.
The furious Lyon after hearing Nicolas telling him that he was weaker than Gray immediately attacked Nicolas
"Ice make: Snow Dragon!!"
Nicolas just punched the attack, shattering it to pieces then lunged at Lyon and grabbed him by the neck and said
"Don't be so short-tempered, Lyon. You won't live long if you do that."
Yuka, Toby and Sherry wanted to intervene but Nicolas radiated his Magic power, paralyzing them in place.
"Hey, I don't want to have any conflict with you guys. I just told him that he wasn't strong enough and he attacked me."
Nicolas turned back to Lyon and asked: "Can we talk like civilized people, now?"
Lyon nodded so Nicolas released him and he flopped on the ground while patting his neck to soothe the pain.
"Well, I remembered that my objectives are all done."
Nicolas then gave Lyon a communication Lacrima.
"If Zalty comes back, can I inconvenience you to contact me through that Lacrima?"
Lyon just nodded helplessly since he became quite scared of Nicolas.
"Nice. I'll take my leave then."
Before Nicolas could leave, Lyon shouted at him to wait.
Nicolas turned around to hear what he had to say.
"Are you stronger than Deliora?"
Nicolas sighed for a bit and responded that he wasn't since he didn't want to become Lyon's new target of obsession.
As he said those words, Nicolas left the temple by walking because he didn't want Lyon and the others to know that he put teleportation marks everywhere in the temple.
He finally teleported back to the guild and suddenly remembered.
'Damn, I got him by the neck at that time. Why didn't I ask him if he wanted to dance.'
As Nicolas wanted to go the counter to order something, Natsu appeared out of nowhere and asked him to fight again.
Nicolas obliged him and punched his head, causing him to faint once again as he ordered a drink.
