After lunch Free came back to the garden with Sylvia, he took the skyboard from beneath the tree and goes to the village to try at some more safe place.
They walk at the village path, and then many kids sorrounded them asking question about Free flying in the sky. "How can you fly!!" "what is this?!". They asked many question and Free chuckled.
"This is called a....Skyboard. in the upper layer is a wind spell[Tornado] and in the lower layer is many holes which let the spell come out of it, the wind come from all side making it balanced" Free said, many children listen in awed. After sometime Free and Sylvia walk to the playground of the village.
"This should be good" Free said scanning around the field, he put the board down and straps his feet, then he starts to channel mana in the boards and the sky nearby starts to bend by the air pressure.
"It's starting to float..." Sylvia muttered she watched Free float above the ground, the air push the ground and Free starts to fly higher.
He put more weight on the front and the skyboard move forward. "Control, control...." Free bend his body backward and the board fly backward, he reach his hand to the left the board miove to the left. "Okay let's try" He then channels more mana in the board, it starts to fly in the higher than the trees. "Yes!" he shouted, he starts to fly all over the sky. "Hey Sylvia, it's working perfectly!" Free slowly descends back into the ground with a satisfied smile.
"You're really cool..." Sylvia muttered, looking at the board. Free starts to open the straps from his feet.
"The weight is perfectly balanced. No one willl fall and lose balance like this" He took the board from the ground. "Let's go back for now" Free said, they starts to walk together.
"Hey, can i ask you something?" Sylvia look at Free her cheeks slightly pink.
"What?" Free asked.
"Can we sometime ride in it...together" She said, looking away, Free instantly went red, he starts to panick.
"Wha-! Yeah i would like to!" He said, looking at her his cheeks were beet red.
"Yes..." Sylvia muttered to herself, she smiled peeking at Free.
They were walking when a adventurer mage block their path. "Hey, you're Free, right" the Mage said, her eyes landed on the board in Free's hand.
"Yes i am" Free hand glowed white a spell was ready for attack.
"Wait wait, i don't meant harm. I heard you have a big weird cutting board that can fly!" she said, grabbing Free's hand to stop him.
"Oh... The skyboard" Free deactivate the spell and he took the board forward. "It will fly if you channel mana on it" He said, handing it to her.
"Wow! These two layers have been carefully carved, and the spells are the same size making it balanced. It's a great creation!" She said, scanning the skyboard up and down. "Can i try it, my name is Liz by the way" she asked.
"Sure" Free said, Liz strapped her feet and stand above the skyboard.
"Okay..." she channel mana in the board and it starts to float above the ground. "It's working!!" She channels more mana and the board fly 6 feet above the ground.
"Now try and make your front feet heavier " Free said, Liz did and she starts to move forward she bend her body to the left and the board turn left too.
"This is the greatest thing i've seen!" Liz channels more mana and she float above the ground more but then she felt dizzy and starts to descend back into the ground. "w-why?. My mana is drained".
"Liz what happen?" Free asked, Liz look at Him and then at the board.
"How many hours can you Fly in this" She asked, staring at Free intensely.
"Let me guess...maybe five hours" Free said, turning back to her and Liz eye went wide.
"WHAT!!" she screamed. "YOU SAID FIVE HOURS" she yelled looking at Free like he was a ghost. "How high is your mana pool?!".
Free thought for a moment. "Mom said i was above average" he said, scratching his forehead but Liz was more shock.
"Okay so you're above average. Then why is your mana so weak" She said, she unstrapped herself and scanned Free's body. "Your mana is just barely above average" she said, Free was now confused.
"Hmmm..... Maybe you are bad at sensing" he pointed at her and Liz was taken aback.
"Wha- yeah, but even for a beginner i can sense pretty good" She said, looking at Free, her left eye brow twitched.
Just then Sylvia walk between them smiling but she was giving a forcing smile. "Let's talk about it later okay" she said, and Free looked at Liz then nodded scratching the back of his neck.
"I'm going home for today" Free said, he took the board and went walks home with Sylvia and Liz just stared at him.
They walk together but Sylvia was quiet, Free glance at her, she was deep in thought, he didn't pursue much he just let her think about it. 'he was about to know about the seal' she thought, her mind went back to when Hina and Lina told her about the seal.
"Sylvia?" Free called, she quickly jolt out of her thought and turn to him.
"What?" she asked.
"Are you okay" Free look at her, sylvia face went red, Free was too close.
"Yea-yeah i am!, really i am okay!" she said, trying to reassure Free but he leaned closer and Sylvia ran away.
"H-hey!" Free ran behind her his board in hand, Sylvia ran to Free's house and enter the house, while Free was stopped by Elina and Hinata in garden, asking for a ride.
Inside Hina and Lina were having tea when Sylvia enters. "Sylvia?..." Hina muttered.
"Aunty is... Is it possible for Free's mana to continuosly leak out" She asked, and sat beside Hina.
Hina burn her tongue by the sudden question."W-what?" she said, then she thought for a moment. "Well, his mana do leak out from the seal so it might be...." She said, then her eyes went wide. "Don't tell me..." She turn to Sylvia and Sylvia nodded,
they look toward Lina's sipping her tea.
"Young master's mana is constantly leaking out from the seal that is why he never run out of mana" She said, looking outside.
Outside Free was flying in the sky with Hinata grabbing his hip, she was scared from the height and unknown to him, his eye glowed yellow and the seal in his heart release more mana out, then it then regenrated.
