There was a tense atmosphere in the air, as the ministers, princes and princesses came out of the carriage and among them was the pink hair girl(Free saved her in vol.2 when he was going to Lottin), she stared at Free with a curios gaze while Utto was sweating as the most important man in the kingdom of Daelon step out of his luxorious carriage. The king himself Derens de Daelon.
"Y-your majesty, what a unexpected visit?" Utto greeted the king with a bow, his voice was hesitant and nervous by the sudden visit.
"I agree my visit was quite, sudden. But i can't hold myself hearing that a playing place i never heard of was going to be opened today" The king voice was calm but filled with authority and dominance, he blink once and glance at Free and Sylvia who were holding the scissor together to cut the ribbon.
"But your majesty, i heard you were visiting tgree days later?" Zelda said, unfazed by the king's presence, the king chuckled and gesture to one of his son, who came forward.
"I'll negotiate in half of my father" the prince said, hi muscular frame towering over Utto. "We discussed about the future of this village and we reach only one comclusion" the prince paused and stared at Free who was now staring directly at the prince. "This village will be officially be announced into a Town from this day FORWARD!!!" the prince announced as a knight handed him a scroll which he opens and started to reads it. "In agreement of the twelve lords and the royal family, this village which refused many letters to be officialy turned into a town for the past decade will now be officially turned into a town by the order of the royal family and the twelve lords!" the prince read it aloud while Free amd other's were nervous especially Sylvia who was slightly trembling.
The announcement echoed kn the crowd, the people now started to discuss about the future of their town because if Free didn't get chosen as the lord of this town they are gonna live in hell from now on.
"Your highness, now that this village is a official a town. Who will rul- look after it?" one of the nobles asked, the prince glance at his father who let out a cough attracting everyone's attention.
"Because that this village is now a newly born town a noble will be assign to look after it" the king said, everyone in the town gasped while some were scared, Free's hand was clench tight, his mind in chaos but Sylvia held onto his arm tightly calming him down slightly.
"But i have something to say too!" the pink hair princess said, she step forward and take out a letter from her sleeve while the prince behind her maybe older than her grinned. "This man here, the chief of this place once saved my life from the bandits a month ago" the princess said, everyone on the village-now, town- gasped, Free was shocked too, he didn't waste his time that day, just saved her and flew away because it was too much trouble.
"My dear daughter, You never told me about this?" The king said, he turn his head to the pink haired princess, and move his hand to pat her on the head.
"Because i wanted to meet him in person that's why!" the girl said, she chuckled and turn her attention back to Free who was still slightly surprised. "And about you mister" she said.
"Y-yes" Free said, quickly bowing to his knnes as the princess approach him.
She stopped infront of him and put a hand on his head. "Tell me what do you want, your favour shall be, ask anything you want" she said, trying hard to supress her laugh.
"Me?" Free said, he paused and thought for a long moment while Sylvia whispered to him to ask for the right to look after this town, but then he got an idea. "you said anything? Right your highness" he repeated, the princess gave a nod, he look behind the princess, at the king, the princesses, orince and ministers, then he sighed. "I want a noble status" he said.
Everyone gasped, the king raised a eyebrow and the muscular prince gave a stare to Free who wasn't looking at him.
"Wh-what?" Elina muttered, even Lina was shocked while Hina and Hinata were absolutely losing it.
"Big brother.....A NOBLE!!!???" Hinata yelled her heart out.
"Yay! If papa become a noble, i can eat as much as i want" Hina muttered, jumping in joy as if the food Free fed her everyday wasn't enough.
But infront of the high status people, Free was slightly regretting his decision, the princess walk to her father and siblings and theur starts to whisper to each other sometimes glancing back at Free.
After a long discussion, the princess came back, she let a dramatic cough. "After the dicussion with my family memebers, I, the 3th princess of Daelon, Eliza De Daelon, will announce my decision to former chief Free wish...." she paused, as everyone even the nobles behind were sweating and gulping their saliva. "CONGRTUALTION, YOU ARE GRANTED THE PRIVILEGE OF NOBILITY!!!" she declared, there was a moment of silence in the crowd, then....Chaos.
"YEAHHHHHH!!!!!" one man yelled.
"Congratulations, Ch-I mean lord Free!!!" a woman congratulated.
"We're saved!!!" many yelled, celebrating and congrtulating while Free himself took a breath of relief.
"You're now a Baron, but....." the princess cut them out, making everyone who were celebrating pause. "You will have to choose a surname to prove your privilege as nobility".
"A surname?" Free said, he went into a deep thought again. 'Shpuld i use my previous life surname? Not in million years, so what should i do' he thought and look toward the sky, and got what he wanted. "How does 'Hoshi' sounds?" he said, the princess blinked and tilt her head, the prince behind her gave a slight nod and the king too gesture his hand.
"Okay sooooo, from now on you are Baron Free hoshi" she declare giving Free her crest as a sign of respect, Free takes the crest in polite manner and elegance suiting a noble. "Ooooo, acting like a noble already?" she teased.
"Not just acting but i am one now" he replied with a smirk.
"Yo-your majesty, what about this town now, who will rule it? Us noble or the Hoshi" one of the nobles asked, the king place a hand on his chin and turn to his childrens but they just gave a i don't know gesture.
"Hmmmm?" the king thought and turns to the crown of the citizens. "So who want the new baron to look after this new town?" he asked, all the villager raise their hand in approval of Free to continue look after this Town. "Now then, Baron, please continue your ceremony to open this play ground of your" the king gesture for Free to continue his ceremony.
"Yes, your majesty" Free said, he and Sylvia holdibg together the scrissor cut the ribbon and a applause of clap starts to echo in the Town.
"I can't belive you are now a Baron" Sylvia whispered to him as people clapped.
"Not you, but us, my dear baroness" he corrected her, Sylvia blushed and clinged to his arm tightly.
"Like mother like son" Lina said, glancing at Hina who rush to give a big hug to Free along with Elina and Hinata holding eachothers hand, as Free and Sylvia hugged them back. Lina sighed and joined in their embrace too.
On that day, a new Town was born and with it a new noble who everyone loved, adore and respect, and it was just the beginning of the journey of the greatest lord.
On the night, Free sat on the bench of the noble section, he stared at the sky and the lights hanged on the side of the park, just then Sylvia approached and sat down beside him.
"Tomorrow is going to be a weird day" she said, Free chuckled and nodded, staring at Hinata and Iris playing in the swings, and Hina and Elina jumping in the fort he specially design using some magics and clothes. "They are having so much fun" she said, then her face flushed and asked what made to choke on his saliva. "Will, our childrens....like them too?".
"pfffttt! W-what?!" he yelled, standing up from the bench and Sylvia ran off to the fort ballon and jumped in it. "H-hey!!" he called out, jumping in it with her, they all laugh that night and on the shadow the shadowed guy just laughed his heart out at the new noble.
