The fight between Aether and the Soulborne ended in the afternoon.
By morning, the news had spread throughout the Empire.
It had also reached the Noctvain estate. And a particular someone was waiting for this news.
It was Cierra von Ophelia.
It had only been two days since Aether left, but she felt a deep, aching loneliness. She had even cried while sitting beside the lake at the Noctvain estate.
Aether's mother comforted her since she had a soft spot for Cierra and loved her as if she were her own child.
Then Cierra heard the news that Aether had defeated the Soulborne and was headed toward the estate.
She was so happy that she jumped on her bed, sang songs, and expressed her excitement in many ways. Aether's little sister, Lyra, also joined her and danced with her in the room.
