A storm churned above the skyline. Purple lightning split the clouds as the ground quaked. The Rangers stood ready, weapons drawn.
From the rift in the sky, she descended — the Dark Sentinel.Her armor gleamed obsidian, streaked with crimson. Her movements were elegant but terrifying, the power of the shards radiating from her like fire.
DAIKI(whispering)…Mother.
The team tensed. Lyra stepped forward, gripping her sword despite her injury still not fully healed.
LYRA(shouting)Mom, it's us! Please — fight it!
The Dark Sentinel tilted her head, voice cold and layered with dark resonance.
DARK SENTINELI am not your mother. I am Karnex's blade.
EXT. CITY BATTLEFIELD – THE FIGHT
The clash began instantly. Dark Sentinel's strikes were precise and devastating — faster than any monster they had faced before. Kael blocked a blade swipe, sparks exploding as he was thrown back.
KAEL(grunting)She's stronger than before—!
Ryanna launched a blast, but the energy dissipated as the Sentinel slashed it mid-air. Jett tried to flank but was slammed into a car.
JETTOkay… yep… she's still terrifying.
Meanwhile, Daiki placed the Resonance Amplifier on the ground, adjusting its settings.
DAIKI(frantic)Come on, come on… if I can sync with her shard, I can separate the corruption!
But the Dark Sentinel suddenly locked on him, launching a strike straight for Daiki.
LYRA(screaming)NO!
Lyra dashed forward, intercepting the strike — sparks flying as she blocked her mother's blade. The two locked eyes through their visors.
LYRA(pleading)Mom, I know you're in there! You raised us, you protected us… and I won't let Karnex erase that!
For a split second, the Dark Sentinel's stance faltered.
EXT. AMPLIFIER ACTIVATION – TURNING POINT
Daiki slammed his fist on the Resonance Amplifier. The device roared to life, shards glowing, waves pulsing outward.
The waves struck the Dark Sentinel, making her armor flicker. Her body shook violently, dark energy unraveling like smoke.
DARK SENTINEL(screaming)STOP—!
DAIKI(yelling over the noise)No, Mom! Come back to us! We'll fight this darkness together!
The Amplifier strained, sparks flying, the shard inside cracking slightly. Lyra and Kael combined their weapons, channeling a blast directly into the resonance wave — boosting it.
The dark corruption peeled away layer by layer. Her obsidian armor shattered into fragments, falling like glass. Beneath it, faint silver and white armor glowed.
EXT. FINAL MOMENT – RELEASE
With one final scream, the last of the darkness exploded outward. The Rangers shielded themselves from the shockwave.
When the dust cleared, their mother collapsed to her knees — no longer the Dark Sentinel, but herself again, weak and trembling.
LYRA(dropping her sword, tears welling)…Mom.
Daiki sprinted forward, catching her before she fell. He buried his face into her shoulder, tears streaming.
DAIKI(crying)We got you back. We got you back.
Their mother, weak but smiling faintly, lifted a trembling hand to his cheek.
MOTHER(softly)My… children… I'm sorry…
The team gathered close, silent and shaken, watching the most important victory they had ever achieved — not over Karnex, but over despair.
High above, Karnex's ship vibrated with rage as he roared.
KARNEX(furious)NO! She was MINE!
