Kyōraku Callum sighed. "Then you continue. I'll be going."

As he spoke, his form began to dissipate like a phantom.

"Was that a clone I was talking to?" Suì-Fēng was astonished, completely unable to comprehend what she'd just witnessed.

Even Yoruichi Shihōin's Shunpo skills, in her estimation, couldn't reach this level. Yet, Kyōraku Callum had made it seem effortless. He had used Shunpo to leave without her even noticing.

Suì-Fēng bit her lip, her eyes filled with frustration and resentment.

"I will catch you again!"

When Kyōraku Callum next stopped his Shunpo, he had already reappeared in the Fourth Division barracks.

"This is incredibly annoying," he muttered. "Is the Second Division and the Onmitsukido that bored? Suì-Fēng's been stalking me every day."

Ever since he'd begun researching the Dangai space, Suì-Fēng, somehow learning of his activities, had been waiting for him at a fixed location every day.

It had all started when he demonstrated the Shihōin Stealth Techniques, leading Suì-Fēng to believe he might know Yoruichi Shihōin's whereabouts.

He'd kept their secret, of course.

This had been going on for a year.

"Thankfully, this irritating period is finally over," Kyōraku Callum said, lazily reclining in a rocking chair, preparing for a much-needed vacation.

Without any check-in missions active, improving his strength relied solely on self-training, and he hadn't wasted a moment in the past year. Now that the Dangai space research was complete, it was time for a well-deserved rest.

After all, a balance of work and rest was essential for effective training.

"Report, Lieutenant Kyōraku!" Isane Kotetsu's voice called from outside the barracks.

"The door's unlocked. Come in," Kyōraku Callum said, somewhat annoyed, covering his face with the novel he was reading.

His relaxation was short-lived; what new trouble was this?

Isane Kotetsu rushed into the barracks, sweat pouring down his face, looking utterly distraught.

"Lie—Lieutenant Kyōraku! Third Seat Madarame and Fifth Seat Ayasegawa from the Eleventh Division are critically injured, near death! The Captain has already gone!"

Thump! Kyōraku Callum threw down his book, his expression one of shock.

"Another injury from a sparring match?"

Isane Kotetsu, gasping for breath, was extremely anxious.

"No, it was during a mission at the northern Rukongai border!"

Kyōraku Callum's expression hardened. He immediately understood the seriousness of the situation.

"Bring all the necessary medical equipment, and head to the Eleventh Division barracks!" With those words, he activated Shunpo and vanished from the rocking chair.

Time acceleration, maximum! Space seemed to tremble as Kyōraku Callum's Shunpo reached its peak velocity. Within moments, he traversed the distance from his secluded barracks to the Eleventh Division barracks.

Spatial perception, a skill honed from his Dangai space research, allowed him to sense spatial particle fluctuations within a specific range.

Even the slightest movement of spiritual particles wouldn't escape his notice, unless countered by another spatial ability.

Two faint, familiar spiritual pressures appeared within his sensory range.

Eleventh Division, north barracks.

"No need to be alarmed. It's Kyōraku-kun," a gentle voice announced from within the barracks, putting everyone at ease. Unohana Retsu was intimately familiar with Kyōraku Callum's spiritual pressure and recognized him instantly.

The moment he opened the door, Kyōraku Callum saw the two men lying on the beds, barely clinging to life. Their spiritual pressure was incredibly weak, almost imperceptible.

Their bodies were almost entirely scarred. Madarame, in particular, had suffered severe injuries; his limbs were broken, limply hanging on his body.

Thanks to Unohana Retsu's immediate treatment, they were out of immediate danger, but full recovery would be a significant undertaking.

"They're extremely weak," Unohana Retsu explained, her brow furrowed. "I can't use strong healing Kidō on them.

Minazuki can only temporarily stabilize them."

Kyōraku Callum remained silent; he understood Kidō well.

Since Shinigami are fundamentally composed of spiritual particles, Kidō works by restoring the spiritual pressure within the injured, aided by external stimuli to facilitate healing.

However, that approach was impossible in this case.

Any spiritual pressure stimulation risked ending Madarame and Ayasegawa's lives.

"In this situation," Kyōraku Callum said gravely, "we need Kurotsuchi's help. Let's hope his inventions can address such severe injuries."

Unohana Retsu asked, "Then, should I have Minazuki swallow them?"

Kyōraku Callum remained silent for a moment, then nodded. "That's our only option."

Unohana Retsu's Zanpakutō transformed into a large, flat creature. A single eye was located in the center of its head, and its sharp teeth were unnerving.

However, its demeanor was remarkably gentle, seemingly influenced by Unohana Retsu.

After swallowing the two injured men, Unohana Retsu and Kyōraku Callum climbed onto Minazuki's back.

They ascended into the air, heading towards the Twelfth Division barracks! Minazuki's flight was swift, and they soon arrived.

"Kurotsuchi!" Kyōraku Callum called out from the air, his voice carrying without restraint.

He also used his spiritual pressure to cover the entire area. Madarame and Ayasegawa's condition was critical; any delay could prove fatal.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi, engrossed in his research within the barracks, sensed the immense spiritual pressure.

Distracted, he accidentally crushed a test tube in his hand. The viscous purple liquid spilled onto his hand, instantly melting his palm.

Kurotsuchi, visibly annoyed, snarled, "That damned Kyōraku again! This is the thirty-eighth experiment failure he's caused! I'll put that guy in a jar one of these days!" He injected a serum into his arm, and flesh rapidly grew, regenerating his hand.

He stormed out of the barracks, just as Minazuki landed.
