"So, the Shinigami stationed in and around Karakura Town were all killed," Urahara Kisuke continued.
"More Shinigami will likely be sent in the near future." He frowned. "I suspect Aizen's goal is to force Hirako Shinji and the others to reveal themselves."
Hirako Shinji was a victim of the Hollowfication incident over two hundred years ago. Sensing something was wrong with Aizen, he appointed him his Vice-Captain to keep an eye on him.
However, he fell into Aizen's trap, becoming Hollowfied. He then escaped to the World of the Living with Urahara Kisuke, Yoruichi Shihōin, and others.
They should be able to control their Hollowfication by now.
Kyōraku Callum had encountered them some time ago, but their interaction hadn't been extensive. Even with Urahara Kisuke and Yoruichi Shihōin vouching for him, they remained distrustful of anyone from Soul Society—or rather, anyone from Seireitei.
"Looks like the World of the Living isn't safe these days," Kyōraku Callum murmured, glancing at Nelliel sleeping on his lap.

Urahara Kisuke and Yoruichi Shihōin looked puzzled, Shiba Isshin equally curious. "What are you going to do?"
Kyōraku Callum stood, heading towards the north side of the underground space without looking back.
"Strengthen the Kidō barrier!"
While he didn't master Bakudō or Kido forbidden techniques, his peak-level Kidō mastery was on par with, if not superior to, Tessai Tsukabishi in certain aspects.
Peak Kidō—those two words spoke volumes. Kidō encompassed Bakudō, Hadō, and Kaido. Beyond that were advanced techniques: chantless incantations, double incantations, sequential incantations, and counter-Kidō techniques. Kidō barriers were included.
He'd observed that Tessai Tsukabishi's Kidō barrier had at least three weak points.
A detection-type Kidō might detect unusual spiritual particles leaking from the Urahara Shop. To be safe, Kyōraku Callum decided to reinforce those weak points.
Tessai Tsukabishi quickly arrived in the underground space. Upon seeing Kyōraku Callum's Kidō incantations, his expression changed.
Behind his reflective glasses, surprise flickered.
"A perfect fusion of the Fūin Kidō and the eighty-first Bakudō, Dankū. It prevents spiritual particle leakage while providing strong defense," Tessai Tsukabishi analyzed, pushing up his glasses.
"Mr. Kyōraku's Kidō mastery is on par with mine. If he mastered Kidō forbidden techniques, he could be a Grand Kidō Master."
Everyone was astonished.
"Wow, I didn't know Kyōraku-kun possessed such high-level Kidō talent!" Urahara Kisuke fanned himself with his folding fan.
"Swordsmanship, Kidō, spiritual pressure… I see the future of Soul Society!"
He was clearly aware of the fight between Kyōraku Callum and Kenpachi Zaraki. Yoruichi Shihōin frequently infiltrated Soul Society to gather information.
Their reactions upon learning about the fight and the destruction of the Eleventh Division barracks had been priceless.
Now, Tessai Tsukabishi revealed Kyōraku Callum's exceptional Kidō skill.
Their surprise was palpable.

Urahara Kisuke fell silent.
